I loved the…read moredifferent takes on Christmas showcased through out the bar and even the entry way transformed you into a icy winter wonderland. I was very packed and people were walking around with cute little Christmas themed cups from ornaments to mugs. We didn't stay to partake in a drink since it was PACKED around the bar downstairs and we were warned to not even go upstairs. So photo op it became. They even had Abominable Snowman but he was surrounded by so many I had to grab a picture from a distance and couldn't ask if he really bounces. If crowds are your thing, then definitely swing by Tinsel

Half the fun is looking around and trying to figure out which movie or TV show inspired each decoration. Christmas music plays nonstop. There's a fixed drink menu and no seating, so it's very much a stand-and-hang-out kind of place. From what we heard, it can get pretty packed later in the evening, but we arrived right when it opened at 4:00 PM and had no wait at all. It ended up being a great place to kick off the night. The cocktail list is entirely Christmas-themed--festive and fruity flavors. The cocktails are served in Christmas themed vessels. If cocktails aren't your thing, they do offer beer and seltzer options as well. It's a fun, high energy stop that's perfect for soaking in some holiday spirit.

I've been twice now, first time since after their temporary closure summer 2026, and the ambiance is just as welcoming and cozy. The interior gives a lot of space for dining but also study, and there's plenty of merch to purchase as well. The restaurant doubles as a café and bakery, with some of the best matcha and hojicha lattes and baked goods around. The Food Breakdown: Kanto Fried Chicken Sando (5/5) - The hot chili oil comes through each juicy bite, and the brioche is soft and just complements the overall sandwich really well. Their fries are also seasoned very well, making for a great bite.

You order at the front and then find a table upstairs. There's plenty of seating, and the interior has a really cool vibe with nice decor. The food did take quite a while to come out despite it not being too busy when we visited. We started with the ensaymada after seeing all the baked goods displayed at the front. The presentation was really eye-catching and enticed me to order it, but unfortunately, it wasn't that great. It wasn't very soft and was served pretty cold, so I really wish they had warmed it up. The cream on the outside was also pretty thin, and overall it tasted a little too bready for me. I definitely enjoyed our main dishes more. I got the kare-kare katsu, which I was excited to try since kare-kare is one of my favorite Filipino dishes and I also love Japanese katsu. The fusion sounded really interesting! It was pretty good, although I wish the sauce had more of that traditional strong peanut flavor you expect from kare-kare. The katsu itself was fairly standard, but everything still worked well together. My friend got the shredded beef tapsilog, which I actually thought was better than my dish. The beef was flavorful, and I liked that it came with a generous portion of vegetables. I definitely want to come back for their weekend brunch menu because I've heard their buko pandan pancakes are really good. We didn't realize they were only available on the weekends, which was a little disappointing. I wish some of their weekend items were available during the week too! Overall, Baby's is a pretty decent Filipino spot. A lot of the dishes feel more modernized and fusion-inspired rather than super traditional or authentic, but the food was still enjoyable. I'd come back, especially to give their weekend brunch a try!

It was a super hot night out so we asked to be seated inside and they were able to accommodate us. Apparently inside seating is actually reserved for walk-ins so good to know for those who can't get a Resy! The food was good enough but I think the ambiance of the place and the amazing service really made the experience worth it for me. Definitely don't skip the hanger steak--it's perfectly medium rare and juicy. The tomato toast was flavorful but the toast was pretty thick and hard to bite into especially around the crust, although that might just be a me problem. I look forward to doing a walk-in to try their dessert sometime before the pop-up wraps up!

Goat Pepper Fry - if you're a spicy-food lover, this is the dish you must order here…read more Due to family commitments, I couldn't visit this place when it first opened in my city--but better late than never, right? We went on a cold Sunday night, and to my surprise, the place looked completely deserted. It immediately felt more like a takeaway spot than a proper dine-in restaurant. The paper plates, plastic cutlery, and overall setup confirmed it. And yes--my guess was right. Their business model is clearly focused on takeaway / online orders / to-go, with very little emphasis on dine-in even though they have 6-7 tables that could seat around 28 people. It's just not their priority, it seems. Anyway, I ordered at the counter: Goat Pepper Fry I honestly can't recall having a better version anywhere. Rajni's version comes close, but this one wins in consistency and flavor. Absolutely worth it. Pachi Mirchi Kodi Biryani- Let's not call it biryani--because it's not. But as a dish? Fantastic. It's more like chicken gravy mixed with rice, and it tastes really good. but its miles away from being called BIRYANI. I'm a big mutton/lamb/goat and biryani lover. Most people hesitate to try goat at restaurants due to the smell, but I always give it a shot--knowing I'll be disappointed 70% of the time. This time, it paid off. Overall, I'd give them a 4/5, but: * I'm deducting 1/2 star for hygiene. Even if dine-in isn't their focus, the restaurant still needs basic cleaning. Tables, stands, and doors were visibly dirty. * Another 1/2 star for the paper plates and plastic cutlery. I can't enjoy biryani with tiny plastic spoons--they practically cut your lips. So technically it's 3/5, but that Goat Pepper Fry is such a highlight that I'm pushing it back to 4/5. I'll definitely be trying more items from them.

Ordered the chicken fry option, and there was a generous amount of chicken. I couldn't even finish the dish. Its a very casual setup: order at counter, paper plates.
