Everyone that knows me knows I'm a big fan of hockey. I tend to favor teams that represent a state where I've lived. The other favorite teams are the ones where I have family or friends that are from that state. It's all about the game and the competition. I've got a lot of hockey t-shirts from different teams. Recently I received two of the stuffed mascot dolls. They're so cute I would collect them all if I had the space. At one time the team was in Hartford Connecticut. Another place I have strong ties. Okay, we are having a tough season thus far but where else can you get such a great entertainment value in Fayetteville? Children's tickets are just $5. The food is overpriced at the Crown Coliseum but that is not the Fireantz fault. Just go to one or two games and you WILL be hooked. I always wondered who invented this great sport? "Let's hit a hard plastic puck into a net with sticks. Oh, and by the way the field is on ice. And to increase the degree of difficulty even more let's put plexiglass around the ice rink so you can hit the opponent into the glass" Great Sport.

It's never too busy which is great as the worst thing is to get psyched to play and to go to a public court only to find the courts all taken and having to act like a beggar asking how much longer each court plans which can annoy a lot of people. Unlike the other public facility where you always have to wait to talk to a person (who is usually busy and not their fault), Kildare is in 2020 and has online reservations which make it more convenient to not have to call and wait or leave voice mail.

The arena itself is always fully staffed with people always available to help. Check-in is very easy and its never a long line. Food and drinks are available. My kid skipped the water because it's $5. So be sure to skip the concessions and bring your own food in. Pretty good game experience otherwise.
