Really good experience here. The ticket entrance attendants are nice and welcoming. They always have a smile on their faces. I've been to this stadium on numerous occasions and I've always enjoyed the experience. I had section 18 row L seat 18 and there was a really good view from my seat. My seats were comfortable with cushion and back support. This seating and the game experience were well worth the purchase. The parking situation is another story. Just catch an Uber/Lyft to the event unless you have a season pass with a parking permit.

We've been to numerous NC State games and I am quite surprised I haven't reviewed this stadium yet! Well, if it was based off my FIRST experience, it would have been quite different. Log story short, I was unaware of the NO PURSE RULE. After walking an eternity to the stadium from where we parked, I was not allowed in with my purse. My husband wanted me to just throw it out (as if). So we then had to walk all the way BACK to the car and then all the way BACK to the stadium. Needless to say, neither of us were happy campers at that point. Since then, we have purchased a CLEAR TOTE to take in. This year was our first as SEASON TICKET HOLDERS. We're basically in the nose bleed section but that's fine. I like the chair cushions/backs we get to use. I honestly have not tried any food here. Weird, I know! There seems to be a decent selection. Restrooms always have been clean. Always a good time! Go Wolfpack!

This stadium doesn't seem to have a bad seat in the house. I was in the upper level and still had a great view of the field. Unfortunately, that meant I had a great view of my Noles being destroyed by NC State's pack of wolves. Everyone was really friendly and concession prices were shockingly reasonable. I'm not a Wolfpack fan obviously but the wolfpack statue is worth a look on the walk to the stadium. Parking seems to be a nighmare since the stadium is a bit isolated so I took an Uber. Getting there was fine but the Uber ride lot after the game was a total disorganized cluster. I enjoyed checking this place out and will be back next time FSU plays here but minus a star for the Noles loss.

Home of the NC State Wolfpack! This is a nice stadium which has good views no matter where you sit and is relatively clean. The lines for the restrooms can get long during packed events but that is the case for most stadiums. Always a fun time to tailgate and attend a game (or just tailgate).

Carter finely is an amazing stadium. The seating is laid out and there isn't a bar seat in the house. The fans are the best. I took my 10 yr olds daughter to get 1st WOLFPACK game AnD she loved it. Parking can be found about a 10 min walk away for free but there is plenty of closet parking if you want to pay $20. Great place to bring the family.

Traffic control after the NC State vs Clemson game 19-Sep-13 was the worst I have ever experienced. Poor management by officials.

The arena was clean. I am amazed that the parking was free, the tickets were only $10, and all prices went to the Hurricanes Foundation. We arrived 1.5 hours early, and we were very surprised to see hundreds of people already there. We got to our seats and then decided to grab some dinner. We had looked at the website ahead of time for our options. However, some of the options were not easy to find- for example, the hot dog place is actually inside where the seats and arena is, instead of around the concourse with all the other restaurants. The mac'n'cheese place was on the third floor and a bit confusing to find. However, the bratwurst was delicious, the nachos near section 103 were tasty (the chicken is a bit spicy), and the burnt ends mac'n'cheese is a very generous portion and stays warm all the way back to your seat. The entire arena was very clean, including the bathroom. The attendants everywhere were all nice and very helpful. Getting out was actually really easy as well. There are tons of parking attendants ensuring traffic flows well. We were quite impressed at how smooth the entire experience was.

I have also been to many convention centers and hotel and commercial meeting rooms. Without knowing the pricing, but assuming the NC State McKimmon Center is competitive, I have to say that the facilities are nice and seem to be a good bet for any conference, training exercise, or meeting. The facility has a very nice academic feel while still being inviting to industry, students, and people attending seminars, like me. It strikes a good balance between a professional conference environment and a welcoming campus atmosphere.

Since it's university-owned, I understand that they want to be cost-conscious but it's just not anything that would attract a major conference with an expo. The breakfast and lunch provided were pretty pedestrian, and it would have been nice to have soft drinks other than ice tea. I suppose that's all negotiated in the meeting contracts.

There are ample stalls available for rent for those not wishing/able to haul horses in on the day of the event. In the past, there were lots of nails and loose boards on the stall walls, but it seems that they have made an effort to rectify this. The stall floors are packed clay, necessitating the addition of ample shavings. Recently, they have begun paving the center aisles of the barns. Although this may seem convenient, I have safety concerns about the increased risks of horses slipping and getting injured or the increased damage that impact of human-on-concrete causes. There are a variety of riding areas on the property. 2 outdoor rings, a covered arena, an indoor arena and 2 large schooling rings. The footing in the covered and indoor arenas is quite nice. The outside rings can get a bit sloppy when it rains. The grounds staff take care to frequently drag and water all rings to keep them safe and comfortable. Recently, they installed industrial ceiling fans in the indoor arena. I give them props for this idea, as it used to get quite stuffy indoors. Unfortunately, the fans were installed by a company called "Big A$$ Fans". For whatever reason, there is now a large sign hanging in the arena with this name on it. I believe this to be highly inappropriate for all of the youth that visit the horse complex. I was very disappointed in this decision. The restroom facilities are perfectly adequate, including shower facilities for those staying over night. There is ample parking for trailers and campers. The food at the grill is reasonably priced and tasty. The staff at the grill have always been friendly. The facility holds a variety of shows over the course of the year. Many of them fun to watch. Overall, pretty good. However, I strongly urge the removal of the inappropriate sign.

The website not allowing certain seats to be chosen and choosing seats for you. The vip add on was not available at ticket purchase and we had to communicate that to the tour for it to get added on the website. Next, the security team was overall the absolute rudest people we have ever encountered. We had multiple interactions 1. There was a medical emergency where the patient was waiting a very long time for medical. In the meantime we asked if they would like our fans to cool down the child. When one of the members of security screamed at us about our tickets. Which was not the question. 2. We were in the front row where we were standing and dancing. As soon as the show started we missed the first 10 minutes arguing with a member of security with her telling us to sit down. The artist had already asked people to stand, dance and have a good time three times. We have been to almost 30 shows with this particular artist all over the US including the Ryman and Carnegie Hall. Not once have we been told to sit down by security. We were watching a concert in an outdoor ampitheater NOT a library. In addition, this specific female security person was very rude. The artist witnessed what was happening and said for a FOURTH time stand up and dance. So finally security left us alone. This was definitely the worst experience we have ever had at a show. If I could leave a zero review I definitely would.
