I was greeted by a man as soon as I walked inside the store. Although the store was small it was fully stocked with a variety of spirits. The store was well lit. I purchased some whiskey piglets, some mixer juices, salted caramel popcorn and some sake. I went to the counter to finalize my purchase. The prices were not on the items but, as the gentleman scanned each item he let me know the cost. This was a very pleasant experience. I loved both of the mixer juices I purchased (they are in my photos) as well as the whiskey and the popcorn. I will have to say that I like sake but, I didn't like the one that I purchased (it reminded me of a little kids hi-c box but with sake in it). I would definitely return here if im in the area.

I found a vermouth I had been looking for and my wife chose a relatively inexpensive bourbon produced at the Buffalo Trace facility. The prices seemed reasonable and I noticed they had numerous items on sale. I assume the individual we had discussions with was the owner. He was knowledgeable and friendly. I imagine we will stop in occasionally whenever we drive up and down Falls Road.

Washington Wine & Spirits has a small selection, but what they offer is carefully and intentionally curated - including some special and harder to find small-production wines! I found a Slovenian wine I wanted to try and a wine I had in New York earlier this year that I've been looking for but haven't been able to find other places (a natural/orange wine from the Italy/Slovenia border), and I wasn't even in the shop that long! (They also offer craft beer and artisanal spirits if that's what you're shopping for.) They also have a small bar where they offer different wines by the glass or flight each month (October's offerings including 2 whites, 1 orange, 1 rose, and 2 reds). They also offer wine tasting every Friday (4-7pm) and a rewards program (you earn points when you spend money in the shop). (They also do private wine tastings starting at $40/person, which I might do soon - how fun!) The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, too. Seriously, for a small shop, what a place!
