Purchased 2017 Dually truck only to find out once we went to have 5th wheel hitch installed in vehicle that the frame of the truck was completely modified which was never disclosed to us at the time of sale. Had 2 different welders who felt that refabricating frame to accommodate hitch would compromise the integrity too much and they would not guarantee their work. Then took truck to West Herr Chevy Service Manager who looked over vehicle and gave us a multiple page report on how vehicle does not even pass inspection. I notified North Coast that truck would have to be returned. I had requested while looking at vehicle to have frame looked at because there was a rear end collision noted in the Carfax. Was told by James Morgante that that was not necessary as the truck would be guaranteed by both CarFax and the auction from which they purchased the vehicle. After purchase, in phone discussions to return vehicle with Jarod Morgante, he actually told us "Well, you know, Buyer Beware". So evidently, NO ACTUAL Carfax or Auction GUARANTEE. We are now filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the New York State Attorney General, and are meeting with attorney Monday to start litigation. So really, "Buyer Beware" read more

My husband and I were in the market for a truck and we found one we loved online being sold by North Coast Auto Brokers. The catch: we are in CA and the truck (and North Coast) are in NY. I got in contact with Jared and he was absolutely wonderful in negotiating a more than fair price for the truck and even splitting the cost of shipping it to us in CA. All of our communications were via phone call and email, and Jared was always very quick to answer the phone and respond to emails. We were just about to pull the trigger on the deal, when we discovered that the truck did not meet CA emissions requirements (the sticker under the hood even said " California: Not for sale in states that have California emissions standards.") As you could imagine, we were so bummed. Even though we did not end up buying from North Coast this time, we would absolutely not hesitate to purchase from them should we find a vehicle we love, and that we can operate and register in CA. Do not buy a car here unless you have your mechanic or another place go over the car before you buy! We bought an infinity there and in less than 6 months we have spent $5000 to repair it on parts that "never break down ". When we went to them to see if they could make it right, even in part- Northcoast tried to sell us used parts with more miles on them than our original, so we would have to pay for it again, sooner!!! Plus a 12 month "warranty" for $200.00 more, when the part already came with a 6month warranty from the seller. no reduction, no efforts to make it right. Super disappointI got they sold us a lemon. I ended up looking for a specific year and model Wrangler and I got a hold of Jamie who knew anything and everything about any type of Jeep which I've never experienced at a Jeep dealership. I made a very smooth purchase with great interest rates with no pressure from them to buy anything. Down the road I ended up asking Jamie for a good place to get my suspension to where I needed it to be and he linked me up with the Service Center at his shop. After months of searching for the perfect car, I stumbled upon North Coast Auto on Car Gurus and emailed them right away. They answered all my questions within a half hour and I also wanted pictures, which were sent over through text message. From then on all communication was via text and each question was answered quickly. I went to visit the dealership a few days later. They were super helpful and super friendly. They quickly gave me a tour of the car and let me go on my way to test drive. As long and as much as I wanted. I came back and had a few questions which were also answered. I wanted the car, but needed to talk to my bank so they let me put down a low amount to "hold" the car which was refundable if I chose to not go through. I had a question about the brakes and they took a look and were quick to fix the issue, no cost. Throughout the week I stayed in communication with the North Coast with more questions and financial things. The next week I went up with check in hand and the car was ready for pick up. It was a super easy process. Jared was personal, friendly, and only wanted to help you get the best deal. He was also super helpful as far as any future mechanical and warranty issues. His number one goal was to make sure the customer left comfortable and happy with their purchase. I was also lucky enough to negotiate a few hundred off without a hassle.
