They gave me a thorough examination and Dr. Savitt took the time to explain very well the reasons for some of my symptoms. I did not feel rushed or made to feel that my concerns were not important. He even took the time to re-check the vision tests to make sure. Gina helped me find glasses and another tech came over to help me make a decision on which classes looked best! Why do I always go to pick out glasses by myself? So they really helped me decide. Gina also was very thorough- making sure of the fit of the lens on my eyes. I just think she was very professional, and again, she did not rush me and was very nice to work with! I can't wait for my glasses to come in! I highly recommend Dr. Savitt - he made me feel like his diagnosis was on point and and I trust his expertise.

In the midst of trying to get a date scheduled, she puts me on hold...for about 5-7 minutes to where she gets back on the phone and says their computer went down and can't schedule my mother in law because of downed computers. I said okay that's fine. When they come back up please just schedule my mother in law your first available appointment no matter when and I would get her there. She says okay no problem. I get no call back, so next day I call back to which I'm told they will not schedule my mother in law and my only option was to be sent to the office manager to know why?!?!? I'm not stupid.... The first call was her putting me on hold to call OPI to figure out what why it was so hard to schedule and I got black balled from scheduling with them.... How insanely unprofessional and actually illegal... HIPPA VIOLATION if I ever saw one... I wasn't even going to be the patient, I am my mother in law's caregiver so I schedule ALL her medical appointments...mind you with no problem! I filed a complaint with the Medical Board. Bunch of caddy, unprofessional people. Wouldn't trust them to do anything... don't go here! Ended up going 45 minutes in the opposite direction and was able to schedule her within 5 minutes with manners, respect and professionalism.

When I asked about the refund difference between a simple pair for distance only, they said I wouldn't get any refund because they were 'remaking' the glasses, even though the 2nd pair would be considerably cheaper. So, I returned the original pair for a full $535 refund and will get a pair of glasses elsewhere. The manager didn't blink, she didn't care, didn't try to keep me as a new customer and I walked out happy. I liked the doctor and support staff, but I'm always a bit suspect when the retail optician office sell glasses is inside the eye doctor's office. All of their focuses on makin g money selling glasses, not keeping customers happy.

I got burned by my last eye doctor, not literally, but close. The last prescription they gave me…read morehad me seeing alternate realities. So yes, I probably annoyed poor Dr. Farmer with a million paranoid questions, but he was patient, calm, and didn't even flinch when I asked if my eyes were haunted. I went for every test they offered because it's cheaper to catch something early than to walk into walls later. Exams here are priced about the same as anywhere else, but the frame selection? It's like a fashion show for your face. Paula was super helpful, and the tech, whose name I forgot, was so kind and careful you could tell he treats every lens like a baby bird. You'll pay a bit more for glasses here, but these are your eyes, not a gas station souvenir. I learned that the hard way at a discount place where my glasses looked great but reading a stop sign became a group project. If you want to actually see what you're doing in life again and not just squint hopefully, go see Dr. Farmer. Worth every penny and every awkward "one or two?" moment.
