Boards have leashes so you don't lose them if you flip over/off the board. Life jacket & adjustable paddles are also provided. Equipment is worn down, but for the cost it's reasonable. The wildlife you can see while paddling the routes are beautiful. We've seen various types of birds, herons, cranes, turtles, dragon flies..it's a peaceful way to spend a sunny summer afternoon.

I had just left the Bay Village library and noticed the little bridge over the creek so I decided to walk down to explore especially since the weather was beautiful on that day. I've been coming here during the summer months since around 2023, to play tennis. The tennis courts are in good condition and there are 4 total courts. I believe there are light posts in the evenings that automatically switch on for when it gets dark. There are about 8 total tennis courts and it is on a first come, first served system. If no one is using a court then you can use it. I played a lot of tennis here in the summer of 2025 and even tried Pickelball. The court conditions were standard but the pavement is worn out. Some upgrading of the courts would do wonders. The park also has a basketball court and benches to sit on. If you live on the west side of Cleveland then this park is for you. We arrived around 6pm on a weekday evening. There were only 2 other people playing tennis together when My friend and I arrived so it was nice that the courts were not very busy. Although the tennis courts were not busy, there were people walking around the park just outside of the tennis courts enclosure. . The park has a playground for kids and there is a grassy area for maybe softball, baseball, or football. There apparently is a pool at the park too but I don't remember seeing one because I am writing this review over a year and a half later. TENNIS (hard court) -- The park has 2 pickleball courts and 4 tennis courts. My friend and I played tennis on one of the courts for over an hour. The surface is hard court so not clay or grass court surface. Playing on the hard court surface was good. The courts are definitely well used and not new but the tennis balls still bounced off well. The park could use some benches because I hardly saw any during my October 2025 visit. Overall, I had a fun time playing tennis here. Tennis courts, jungle gyms, a public pool that is always hopping mid summer, baseball diamonds AND some baby woods on the far side. I have dubbed the woods "Imp's Woods" cuz metal. I take the dog down here about once a week. It's blocks from my Lakewood home over the freeway. It's pretty well maintained and is in probably the safest neighborhood in the city of Cleveland. Lots of parking and only blocks from Giant Eagle or the Rocky River reservation.

The garden is part of the Cleveland Public Library and it is actually connected to it. It is named after Linda Eastman who was director of the library years ago (1918-1938). I finally visited in July 2023 with a friend. We both enjoyed walking around, taking photos, and admiring the beautiful windows of one of the adjoining buildings. The garden is surrounded by trees, a tall iron gate at both entrances, a very small waterfall, benches, and movable chairs with a tables placed all around the garden. When you step into the garden, you instantly feel a sense of happiness, serenity, and peace as you hear birds chirping and breath in fresh air. Hopefully you visit on a quiet day because there are always events around the city especially in the summer months. If I lived downtown, I would definitely come here often to read outside. I didn't spend too much time here so I'll have to come again. This marina sits on the corner of Rocky River and Lakewood but the actual address is in Lakewood, Ohio. THINGS TO DO -- There are some benches close to the marina for you to sit and watch people on their boats or sit to just admire the nice houses up on the cliff. There is a section to rent Kayak's. If you have a boat, there is a dock where you can load and unload your boat. If you prefer not to get on the water, there is a walking path along the lake. Also, the big park is across the marina where families gather to have a picnic or enjoy the great outdoors.
