Restrooms on second level (code needed, Wheelchair accessible). Use elevator to get to second level.

Accessibility: getting into the store is all flat ground. The door to enter is a single pull door but it was propped open. Inside, it is very spacious with plenty of room to make turns. No restrooms inside that I saw...the only restrooms I know of here are the ones upstairs on the second level (there is an elevator access across the hall from this storefront) but a number code is needed to access the restrooms. Experience: as soon as you come inside there is a woman (maybe other times it might be someone else) sitting inside who welcomed my partner and I. The woman was super nice, answered all our questions and spoke with us for a bit about art. The art was absolutely beautiful and reasonably priced for a gallery! I have been inside many galleries and seriously this art is more affordable but still high quality. There were different mediums of art here such as acrylic paints, oil paint, woodwork, metal work, mixed media, photography and more. There were large pieces of art, medium sizes, and extremely small! Something for everyone you might say. :) my partner and I loved it here and felt very welcomed. Masks: not worn by person working or other guests on 3-31-2022.

This league is over 50 years old and is just a wonderful asset to the community. Any league that supports art is up my alley. The league began to promote art education and cultural appreciation of fine art in the communities of Carlsbad and neighboring Oceanside. It features monthly shows of their members work. Membership is a small fee and the artist must work 1/2 day a month in the gallery. They also sponser the wonderful Art on the Ocean event where the artisits display their works on the lawns of nearby Carlsbad Inn so that visitors can view and purchase the works. I purchased several pieces of art that were really well done. I have one in my bedroom one of my office and one in my living room and they're all fantastic. The pieces light up the room and I get compliments on them every time anybody shows up in visits. I would recommend stopping in and taking a look see making sure that they have the right art for you. They also have a website that puts on some of their local pieces.

    Original art, paintings & sculpture!

I love this gallery. Every piece of art is done by area artists, and since this is artist supported, the prices are terrific. The gallery is run by artists, and it is fun to talk to the person at the front, and ask them which piece is theirs. Fun time. Every month has new work. Living in Carlsbad, it is cool to stop by every month and see what's new.

We enjoyed live music from a Rock and Roll band, socialized with good company, and cooled off with drinks that were fairly priced. The atmosphere is good, with cool separate spaces including a poker table, billiards room, outdoor patio, and dance floor. All staff was very friendly and welcoming. Parking can be tricky since the lot is very small and adjacent businesses highly discourage non-business parking. Our friends gave us detailed information on the membership benefits and we are definitely considering. Till the next time, Oside Moose Lodge.

It's in O'side off the 101 and it's a locals staple to its members and sometimes guests. I have some friends that are members and have told me how they enjoyed their time there. I've checked their website previously and have considered joining myself but held off as life just went by. Parking can be tricky because their lot is small & neighboring businesses have their own lots so we found street parking on the other side of the block and walked on over. It's an old lodge and has lots of retro style designs and decor throughout. You get bang for your bucks for quality cocktails and drinks all made by volunteers that work for tips. To my surprise I knew even more people that were already there enjoying community time together. It's fun being with people who vibe as your tribe in commonalities. Knowing these friends frequent the same type of venues and activities that I do makes considering joining even more appealing. My friends all expressed how they have great cause fundraiser events and game nights there. Like trivia and such. Fun! We got to enjoy it on Rock n Roll night and the music was by Reagan "guitar" Williams & band. They definitely Rocked! People danced and socialized well here and everyone looked happy to be there. *I feel like the website could be refreshed and spoofed up a tad more. I can definitely can get on board with places that invest in maintaining betterment of their community and those in need etc. We had a great evening with our friends and being newbie guests to the establishment was much more than we expected. Looking forward to another visit sometime soon.

Our current church in an…read morehour commute, but we feel it's worth the drive to hear expository teaching but it would great to find a local church. Some of my observations.... It's nice to see that there is a children's ministry, but since I've served for many years; I immediately noticed all the children leaving, still had their name tags on - this is exposing these children to potential risks of strangers. Next, the space is small as anticipated but there were so many people making it difficult to feel welcome and to figure out where to go. We found seats upstairs, it was nice to be sitting above the main sanctuary but eventually I regretted sitting upstairs because it was hot! As soon as the worship ended, the people behind us started taking and talked for most of the service. When the pastor came out, he introduced the new pastor and then begins his very long sermon. There were several verses being covered Ephesians 5:17-21 - his style is much different than what I'm accustomed too. I understood the message, but it was repetitive and didn't seem to progress. Pulling one word out the verses was not enough and then jumping all over the Bible to make a point was confusing. Finally; with 3 services, it's important to keep the message timely. We went to the 9:45 service, it actually ended at 11:30 - which is the exact time the 3rd service was supposed to begin. The pastor acknowledged that the clock was telling him to wrap it up, but he dismissed it and continued for another 15 minutes. This seemed rude to me, not taking into consideration the congregation's time and the next service. Multiple people walked out during the service. The worship team did a great job, although sadly the time of worship was very short.

I was told they were booked until late March but I could try coming in early on a Saturday because usually those individuals who make early appointments on Saturday don't make it. I opted for making an appointment in late March to stay safe, but would come in on an early Saturday morning to see how my luck is with getting my taxes done due to someone's failure to appear. I was almost done scheduling the appointment with the receptionists up front when they asked how much $$ I earned in 2012 -- needless to say I didn't qualify. It sucks but whatever, the customer service was good and who can say anything bad about gratis services?! I recommend this place if you qualify. TIP: Don't bother making an appointment over the phone. Find a location closest to you, walk in there, and actually make an appointment with a receptionist behind the desk. If you call the number, you will only receive a voicemail and the voicemail clearly states they will return your call sometime within 7 days. "AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT!!"
