We stopped by Northcork Winery after having a really disappointing experience with the service at a nearby restaurant and it completely turned our night around. The bartenders (Kathryn and Erin) were absolutely amazing. They were so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely fun to talk to. They took the time to answer all of our questions, made great wine recommendations, and taught us more about the different types of wine! The wine they recommended after we explained our preferences was fantastic and we also loved trying the cider. The ambience and service made us feel right at home, and by the time we left we were laughing, relaxing, and having a great time at this hidden gem of a place! Such a hidden gem! I came to celebrate a friend's birthday. The views are beautiful especially if you come during sunset. It's a nice open space with plenty of sitting areas, hammocks, and couches. Each section was spread out so your party could have a little bit of privacy. The wine selection was great and they even serve beer or hard ciders for any non wine drinkers. This place was lovely. Really, just come here for the views and the time to chill in a really relaxing wine spot that's way closer than Temecula. Pretty view of the hills, trees, hummingbirds and butterflies around. It's lovely. The best part of this place is the ambiance, the beautiful views and spacious outside can't be beat. Unfortunately, if it's a rainy weekend, this place will be closed because because all of the seating is pretty much outside. But when it's nice outside, and in SoCal, it's usually nice outside, this place is wonderful. I was really happy watching all the butterflies flitting about. Service is also really nice. Just go up to the bar and put in your order, they'll get to it asap. There's water around for you to grab if you're thirsty. But if you want more drinks, just go back up to the bar. My friend actually got sick on my last visit here (not alcohol related - health issues) and the bartender was so nice to us and understanding - we paid up and left right away when it happened. Def made me feel welcome to come back again. It was something not in anyone's control, and she knew that and understood it, and was really amazing. The minus star I give is honestly because the wine is a bit meh (I got a bottle of the sparkling wine). One, it's just not the best taste wise even when you add some orange juice, but the biggest thing is it's always warm when they hand it to you. I would raise it this star if they just served it actually cold - doesn't need to be the best wine, just cold would be nice. I might bring some ice in a pack with me next time actually lol. If it was cold, I think it would be way better. I haven't tried the pizza place here, but it's on my list for the next time I come up here. Overall, loved the ambiance and service. What a hidden gem among the hills. Only open Fri-Sun. It's a drive through a neighborhood then up a dirt path to the winery. Large gravel parking area be careful with those heels. It's a rolling walk to the entrance. There's outdoor seating areas with fire pits, tables and lounge chairs. Service was awesome! The food! There's a separate food area on the opposite side of the wine selections. Place order at the window or kiosk. They'll text or page you when order is ready. So there is a winery in Yucaipa?? apparently so, and with much applause to North Cork this location is absolutely beautiful. I thought my directions were incorrect because you drive through a residential area but it is indeed at the top of a beautiful neighborhood. It was a cold day and we arrived in the evening, they stay open late so that is bonus. It is reminiscent of a ghost town or old western, they have fire pits to keep you warm and also offer blankets. I run cold all the time so only being outdoors means a visit during warmer weather is a must, I had the hot wine (mulled) and also did a tasting. Wines were good, but would like to try some others next time to get the full range of what they offer. read more

I've been coming here for YEARS, with children, toddlers, babies. On the weekend days especially, no special events or anything....then today (Saturday) we got turned away with an 8 year old due to "21+". I use that rule loosely as I was just last here on Memorial Day weekend with my 2 month old baby in a stroller & my 18 year old sister...no one said a thing. Today we were stopped upon entry and the man working said the 2 month old baby could have stayed but not the 8 year old. Make it make sense. Anyways, probably won't be back because they don't follow through on 21+ if they are still allowing babies in strollers to go but not older kids. The views are great, but not enough for the vast age ambiguity. ***And I'm sorry, but if it's 21 and over, then make it EXACTLY THAT....21 and over...like a bar or the casino...no babies, no discretion. Because once again, I've been there before with toddlers, children, and teenagers. I have pictures to prove it. read more

A new winery tucked into the mountains of Yucaipa. You'll be shocked to discover this spot hidden away behind a residential neighborhood. This place has grown so much since my first visit here in 2023. It's rather amazing because this place has been completely built out and up by the couple who live here. The area started with just vines and now has grown to a wine tasting spot with new additions of wood fired pizza. I have a huge fondness for one of the donkeys who lives here as well. There is ample areas for seating all with their own style. Music, quiet, and and good wine make this a wonderful spot to bring friends. I ordered both a pizza, salad, and bites from the family running that section. It was all very good. I especially liked my salad of the day because it had so many goodies on it. Tried several different glasses of wine, my favorite was the chardonnay which was a welcome surprise. We paid for a wine flight and got 4 - 1oz plastic tasters of wines for $15. It was the smallest wine flight I've ever had. Could not even get a good taste for the wine. You're also paying between $9-$13+ for a glass of wine. I wanted to love this place but I think the wine flight threw everything off for me. Just something to keep in mind when visiting. Extremely rude staff! I was with a group of two other friends on a Saturday evening. We were in the parking lot 10 minutes after their posted closing making sure our third friend was safe to drive themselves home (not knowing that we needed to be out of the parking lot Instead of just the establishment itself). A staff member come zooming through the dirt lot and yelled out the window "you all need to leave now or I'm locking the gate". Not even a courtesy, "hey we need to lock up the parking lot, do you mind heading out?". How are guests supposed to know the parking lot gets locked up? Being locals we had to try this spot out as a date night. As you arrive you have to go up a narrow roadway where there is one car up and down at a time. As you drive up you'll see the location lighted with multiple light bulbs. Walking to the location from the parking lot would be a challenge for women with heels. We recommend wearing flat shoes or tennis shoes. The people were super nice and the wine was pretty good. I think there was music at a few of the tables. I wish it was around the entire property. The views are amazing and worth the trip alone. I know they restrict outside food since they serve pizza now but they should rethink this. It took us 15 minutes to get to the front of the line to order a pizza and another 45 minutes or so to get the pizza. It wasn't that busy for an hour wait but that's how it turned out. The Spicy Warm Wine was very good and worth a try. The pizza was wood fire pizza and tasty. Overall it was a great local spot and saves you a trip to Temecula. read more

North cork winery management are very easy to reach by phone call and email. The customer service was very kind and helpful. The restrooms were maintained during my 4pm-8pm time at the vineyard. They do have a pizza place on site and they even do brunch on the weekends with brunch pizzas. The wine is great and you can bring you own for a corking fee. They do have beer as well. I wanted to keep this winery a secret but it's really too good not to share. The winery is adorable and sits perfectly on a hillside with the best views of the city & sunset. Currently, you have to make a reservation to visit and trust me, it's so worth it! We tried the wine flight and I was pleasantly surprise that all 4 were delicious! That never happens, usually I'll like 1 but each tasting was so good! My wife and I were celebrating our 12th anniversary today and someone recommended North Cork winery. For a first time experience, I couldn't give higher reviews. The views are breathtaking from high up in the hills of Yucaipa and there's lots of different places to sit with your loved ones are friends and enjoy some excellent wine with a fire at night. As we parked and made our way to the outdoor tasting room we were greeted by Camie. She was kind and really knew about the wines and made great recommendations. As we were walking around taking in the breathtaking views we found a spot with a fire pit and a nice guy came right over and got the cozy fire started for us. We had a really good conversation with him and come to find out he and his wife are the owners. What a pleasure learning about their passion and adventure starting a winery. What an amazing first experience and what a nice group of people enjoying this magical spot. We can't wait to visit again soon. Thanks Preston and Mel. When you drive up, you are greeted by the beauty of this vineyard and winery. There are many places to sit that over look the valley. Blankets are offered for guests to use as they sit and sip their wine. We were first greeted by Melanie and were informed of the different types of wines they had available. She was so educated on the various wines and really helped us make the perfect selection for that night. We chose the Barbera as well as a charcuterie board. The wine was smooth and delicious. The charcuterie board was filled with various meats, cheeses, dried fruits and nuts as well as a spicy jelly and a oil dressing. The food inside was the perfect match to the wine! Melanie even came by and checked on us after we were seated to see if we needed anything. Overall, I loved everything about this winery! The service was amazing and the wine was perfect!
