I can't say enough good things about this company.I have been using them for two homes in the North Palm Beaches. I find them to be more than fair. They will even suggest another vendor if prices are better. They are completely reliable and responsive and take a holistic view of your needs, not just a "one off" job. They take the time to do a great job, and take pride in their work. They have kept my three HVAC units working for years, replacing with quality units when required. First they raised prices per unit which I accepted, but before the service started they tried adding additional charges that I never paid prior. Nobody likes to feel hosed. The best judge of a contractor is not when things go right and easy but what they do when things go wrong. Could not be more pleased than the service provided by NCC. We had contracted them to install a new A/C system. When the install was almost complete I noticed on the invoice that the model number of the condenser was different, by one number, than that on the quote I had received. The air handler was the correct one. To make a long story short apparently someone had mis ordered the compressor. NCC without blinking an eye when I pointed out the issue uninstalled the compressor, sent a truck to the warehouse and reinstalled the correct one. An error had been made and they made it right Could not ask for anything more. The install crew was friendly and competent in the install and cleaned up after themselves. My AC stopped working during the night. My AC company came out & diagnosed the problem but wanted to replace my 8 yr old AC system, that really didn't need replacing to the tune of over $6,000. I called North County Cooling & told them what was wrong. They ordered the parts that day & at 10AM the next morning the NCC tech was at my house & replaced the 2 failed parts ( that were still under the Manufacture's warranty) for labor only for $400. The tech checked the AC system out & serviced it & it is working perfectly & doesn't need to be replaced. North County Cooling is an honest company because I had no idea that the parts were still under warranty till NCC told me. My old AC company never divulged that info to me & their estimate to repair was over $1,000. North County Cooling has a customer for life & I would recommend them to anyone who asks read more

sat morning 12/24 when we turned on our central heating and a/c central unit all we had was cooling, no heat. We called north county on Tue morning they came out b 4 lunch and had to leave to fine a part which they did. They came back the same day and by supper we had heat the two tech's mike and cliff were nothing but professionals and they had my unit running the same day.. The fact that north county had the part needed for a 20 year old system says a lot about working with great company.. Could not have asked for better service this is the 2nd time we used this company and it sure as hell won't be the last, our old sytem is close to being replaced and without doubt North county will the the ones to replace the unit with another train a/c. I am old and when a company gives me bad service they only ge one chance and when a company gives me outstanding service they have a customer for life, at least for my life. would not even consider letting another company in the house. these guys are the best. read more

I called North County Cooling at the recommendation of a friend nearly 5years ago. The problem I had was minor & the fixed it quickly & at a very reasonable cost. Since then I have them come annually to do preventative maintenance. Their employees are always polite & professional, clean & neat. They confirm the appointment the day before & their technician calls when he's on his way to my house. They never try to sell me something I don't need which had been my experience with a different company I'd used before. I'd recommend North County Cooling to everyone. read more

After many years of using NCC I'm dissapointed to say that I would never use this company again. The tech came out and inspected my 6 year unit that was installed by them. I was told the compressor was grounded and told me it would cost 1K to repair (parts under warranty). I called and asked for the breakdown. Here is the breakdown sent via text. Freon $600, labor $300 and $100 misc. Total 1K. I shopped it and found an "authorized Lennox distributor" in the area that did the work for $750.00 read more

I have used them for many years and recommended them to several people. But DO NOT use. Their tech came out and said finding a freon leak takes 6 months and their is no way to fix. After crying and pleading if we could do anything through Christmas. He said absolutely nothing. Another gentleman came from Different company and fixed obvious leak by condenser. Took 20 mins. I bought my a/c from Pat several years ago which is still running great! I have NCC do a tune-up service annually to keep the system running well. They were just out this week for my yearly service & I had the pleasure of meeting Ryan this time. Every person I have meet at this company has been wonderful. Someone calls from the company the day before to confirm & the technicians calls the day of when they are a few minutes out. Had them out for an issue with our central air conditioner. The company who installed the Trane unit had bee out twice , and $200 later, could not " find a problem". But the unit would trip a circuit breaker several times throughout the day. Ray came out same day we called. He was pleasant, professional and efficient. Within an hour he diagnosed the problem, replaced the part and the unit has worked ever since. North County Cooling will has a new customer for maintenance on our unit. I will never use this company again after few yrs of trust. AC was starting/stoping. Tech came out & asked if AC wasn't cooling. No clipboard or info. Explained issue and that it was cooling that morning but was told to turn off when I called for appt. He started working testing wires THEN turned on unit to test. Said it was motor. Then when questioned said was module. Didn't seem to know. I hired another company. Emailed Pat (Daena)with pictures how unit was left before 2nd company fixed. Was told they'd look into it. No other response. Followed up again. No reply. 3rd attempt she asked me to refresh her memory!! Forwarded previous emails with pi. And once more no reply. The worst follow up/customer service I've ever had (NONE) let alone a tech who did not know what he was doing. read more
