I called and they emailed us a quote. When we finally were ready to purchase it. My husband called and spoke to Jerry about it and resent him the email so he could confirm availability. Then we waited 1-2 days to hear back. We didn't hear back so we called and spoke with Jerry again he said he did get our email (although he never responded to us to let us know he was working on anything) and he was checking the warehouse for availability. He said he should know by the end of the day Friday. I called Tuesday since I did not hear back from him. He said he needed to come out and check out our set up and check with his guys. I said he could come the next Wednesday and see. Then he did come out Wednesday morning before noon and saw what he needed. I once again waited to hear back from him never did. I called Friday morning and left a voicemail to see when we could set up the install. 2 weeks have gone by at this point. He never called back. We called another company they gave us a quote and we have an install scheduled 2 days later! That's the service we were looking for. What a shame! I gave 2 stars because when I did have interactions with Jerry he was very friendly and did come out the day he said he would. However, they really dropped the ball on a job that was over 3,000 dollars In this economy that's not easy to part with. I sure didn't want to do business with someone who has no time for me.

After their technician worked on my system, my AC is now no longer cooling, and I am sitting in a hot house in the middle of a hot Florida summer with three kids. During the visit, the technician also raised concerns about my refrigerant, told me my system was much older than I had previously been told, and the diagnosis seemed to change after I purchased their warranty program--from condensation to a supposed hole in the coil and a recommendation that the system essentially needed to be replaced. I cannot prove what happened, but the timing is extremely concerning. I called Seaside to fix a drain and a leak--not to end up with an AC that no longer cools. I will not be paying Seaside to come back and repair a problem that I did not have before their technician worked on my system. I am getting an independent second opinion and strongly recommend that other homeowners do the same before allowing this company to perform additional work. Very disappointing experience.

This morning, while sitting in traffic near Boca Raton, one of JVAC's marked service vans aggressively used the express lane exit to bypass traffic before forcing its way back into the travel lane. The driver continued all the way to the plastic delineator posts and nearly clipped the mirror off the pickup truck in front of me. It was an incredibly aggressive and disrespectful maneuver that reflected poorly on the company. As a business owner myself, I know employees don't always make the best decisions. I own an electrical contracting company, and if one of my employees was driving one of my marked vehicles like that, I would absolutely want someone to let me know. Insurance is expensive enough, and your company's reputation is too important to have it damaged by careless driving. I called the number on the back of the van expecting at least a little defensiveness, but I was pleasantly surprised. The owner answered, listened to my concerns without making excuses, thanked me for bringing it to his attention, and assured me he would address the issue with the driver. That level of accountability deserves recognition. We all know how difficult it is to find and keep good employees, and one employee shouldn't necessarily define an entire company. Hopefully this becomes a learning experience for the driver and helps prevent something more serious from happening in the future. While I can't comment on the quality of JVAC's HVAC work, I can say I appreciated the professionalism and accountability shown by the owner when a legitimate concern was brought to his attention.

Years ago I was told that 1 of my old roof units for my office had a pinhole leak in 1 of the compressor lines and that the whole unit needed to be replaced ... this would actually mean replacing both roof units, a very costly project at the time. I called around about having the pinhole repaired but all I got was "no... that's not possible...". Well I finally called Mike Conners and he sent a guy who found the leak and figured out how to actually do the repair! That old unit is still running years later! He may not have done the big "one-and-done" project, but he did the right thing and made a loyal customer who refers everyone he knows without a 2nd thought! The couple who bought our house recently called that the a/c wasn't working... I told them to call Conners: they came right over and instead of selling them an entire new compressor unit, they replaced the cooling fan motor for them... that's Integrity!
