I called, put my info in and found out I had to go the following week. Fast forward to the day I had to go. I had to be there at 7:30 am, that's a bit rough. Parking was easy and plentiful. I arrived early to find a long line that only got longer as I waited. Finally, they started letting people in about 8 am or so, but it was slow going. Once inside it was like airport screening. You put your stuff on the conveyor belt and walk through and get wanded if they detect metal. You are then scanned in before you enter a big open airy room with lots of seating. I found a padded chair and sat and waited. They keep you pretty informed throughout the process. We had to watch 4 videos. There were forms to fill out if you couldn't serve due to financial hardship, caregiving etc. after all of that is done you wait. There are bathrooms, coffee vending and regular vending machines. They called the names of the jurors who got picked and at least half the room left (it was pretty full). The rest of us were on standby and got to leave by noon because the other cases didn't need us. All in all, it was a pretty easy experience. The building is nice inside and it flowed smoothly. The participants were very diverse. And the staff was mostly friendly.
