There are stations of exercise equipment (elliptical, stationary bicycle, and more.) There is a parking lot as well as plenty of on-street parking. There are play structures for the littles. There is lots of grass. Overall a well-rounded and welcoming park.

The actual park has a decent amount of recreational activities you can partake in. It's a little difficult to discern where AYSO Fields ends and the park begins, but so long as there isn't a soccer game going on, I think you can likely use the whole space for whatever needs you have. In the actual park, there's a playground, a covered gazebo with a modest amount of seating, and a basketball court. Nearby there are soccer nets/goals and what looks like a wall to practice soccer kicks, though you could easily use it for a handful of other games. Not sure if the soccer stuff is actually part of the park, but again, they're pretty much connected. Lots of space here to picnic or play with your dog while there isn't a game going on. Would be nice to see a covered restroom over porta potties, but I'm sure folks make do. Only other complain would be that there's not really any shade covering outside of the gazebo and the AYSO Fields side of thing is in need or some trash removal; all the cans are full and some trash has ended up spilled over into the makeshift parking lot. The actual park's trash cans are much cleaner, on the other hand. A nice resource for folks that live out this way, for sure!

But if you wanna play where you can walk around and explore wildlife this is a great place to do it. Early in the morning, when it's nice and cool, it's not unusual to see people out with binoculars. There are so many birds out here! I'm thankful that the city of Woodland finally has this open with regular hours.

I love this park. But it is really more than a park! It has walkways which seem to go on forever…read moreand meander thru nature areas and different neighborhoods. Beauty every where and quiet spots if you are looking to get away from it all. But plenty of activity if you are bringing the kids. Different small areas strategically placed with slides, jungle gyms and even a big lady bug and bumble bee for the kids to climb on and sit! Quite cute. I may have a photo already posted of the play areas. If not will post on my next run. Many entrances to this vast area allow access which is convenient. You may enter one opening and exit another! There is an abundance of wildlife too. Your usual squirrels but also many varieties of birds! My fav! Song birds to big raptors. Even saw a hawk in a tree tearing apart something (yikes) for lunch! And in the dusk hours there are turkey vultures that fly in by the hundreds to roost. Quite a sight. Every season portrays the greenbelt in a different way. At the present time, spring has definitely sprung even though the middle of February. Daffodils, mums and lots of wild flowers and trees blooming which are just so beautiful. And the main trail which runs along side the bigger playground is covered by a canopy of trees and in the hot summer it can be cool enough to walk without being in the direct sunlight! One of the few outdoor places like that! People are friendly but doing their own thing. Bicycles allowed on the main trail but unfortunately some go way too fast! Luckily most are respectful as are the walkers of the bicyclists. If you want a little slice of heaven or alone time...this is the park for you!

There are 2 benches that face away from the playground towards the green space. There is a drinking fountain. Large strategically placed trees to provide afternoon shade to most of the play structures in the late afternoons and evenings.

West Manor Park is a small park in west Davis. This hidden gem is located off of Salem Ave behind a…read morefew large apartment complexes. This small but huge park is a favorite for locals and college students, due to how remote this park is. In the mornings you will find people walking their fur friends of all kinds there. During the afternoons you will see kids playing on the big play structure, swinging on the swing, going around on the merry-go-round, digging holes in the large sand box or playing baseball on the baseball diamond. There is a large grassy area with a small gravel walking track that borders the grass and during the spring/summer time there is even a volleyball net the city puts up for public use. This park also has a roller hockey ring, a basketball court, and a tennis court. On Sundays you can even join in with the Davis Bike Polo League. Regular pick up games start at 12pm and end whenever it gets dark. There are 103 trees planted all around this park, (yes I counted all of them) which makes for some great shade during the hot summer days. I would say this is one of the better parks to have a picnic or BBQ at because there are plenty of picnic tables. Nine picnic tables are out in the open covered by the trees, one picnic table is by the basketball courts and there are two that are under a wooden covering. However there are only two small BBQs and one large one all located by the large seating area. This park also has a men's and women's restroom, but be careful because there are no doors on the stalls. The park is also equipped with one recycle container, four trash cans throughout the park, two bike racks and one water fountain. There are two parking lots for this park. The main lot is located off of Salem St, and the smaller lot is located off of Portage Bay Way. There are also two walking entrances from the residential side of the park located on Cumberland Place and Brandywine Place. I do not advise to park there since it is a residential area. Come out and enjoy this beautiful park in West Davis!

It's mostly just open (and yellowing) grass, with just a couple picnic tables under a few trees. They do have tennis, roller skating, etc courts, but they're pretty cracked and worn down. The baseball / kickball field only has a backstop, so actually playing the game is a do-it-yourself affair. The park is also pretty modest in size. Still, since the alcohol container ordinance apparently doesn't apply here and the park is pretty isolated, if you want to get drunk outside with your friends this is the prime place to do it! Thankfully, drunk people aren't usually too worried about the quality of a park.
