I went out of my way to edit a perfect playlist for my wedding. I took one of Scott's extensive playlists and edited it down to 170 songs we would like to hear. I also selected several songs which weren't on the playlist and asked that he have those songs before my wedding. I believe there was possibly an email mix-up at this point which is why these songs weren't available upon request. Regardless, I sent this information to him in a series of emails, weeks in advance. He responded to me and acknowledged that he'd understood what was sent to him. So imagine my surprise when, on the night of my wedding, he began to play modern pop and rap selections when every song on my list was an oldie. It took me several songs to realize he wasn't playing requests, he was just playing music that I had not included on my list. And I knew he must have seen the list because I sent it to him in an email a month early and because he responded to other emails. And my mother sent him the list as well, also a month early. I finally had to go over to him, take time out from MY night, to tell him to play music from the list I'd sent. And he replied, "I never got any list." HE RESPONDED TO MY EMAILS, which indicates to me that he obviously GOT THE LIST. Trying to keep my cool I simply asked him, "Well, please don't play anything from any time later than the 90s unless it's a request. Go back to playing from your oldie playlist." And you know what he did, right as I walked away? He started playing "Apple Bottom Jeans" right as I walked away. In my opinion, I cannot imagine more of a rude person. I can't understand why he decided ignoring me was the best course of action. How could he listen to me, the person who is PAYING him, tell him what music to play and then flat out ignore it? I was so offended at that moment and felt like he was terrible at his job. He had one job, to play the music I chose. He failed to do this simple thing. I can't even understand how he was, in my opinion, incapable of providing the service we requested. He also made awkward comments at my guests who were dancing through the microphone and believed that "ear numbingly loud" was a good volume for the music. In general, he was the worst possible DJ I could have imagined and I'd have done a better job with my iPod than he did for hundreds of dollars. His website promises not to be cheesy but this guy was nothing but cheese.

Bless their hearts, they were near tears. But the sweetest young lady named Alexandra came right over and worked pure cowgirl magic. She talked to them so gentle and kind, got down on their level, and before I knew it, both of them were smiling and riding like little cowboys. After the rides, she even let the kids stay for a minute to give the ponies some hugs and say goodbye. It was the sweetest thing! The ponies themselves looked so well cared for! Every single one had food in their buckets. You can tell this girl absolutely loves her job! It's so heartwarming to see now days, so much evil in the world. Now, I do want to mention a thing, while the pony area was just wonderful, I did notice the farm animals looked really hot. It was a warm day, and bless their hearts, there didn't seem to be much shade for them. For such a long time, it made me a little sad to see them standing out in the sun like that. I grew up on a farm myself, so I know these are outdoor animals and they're used to being in the weather. But even then, they naturally have shade from trees or a barn to get under, and always plenty of fresh water close by. I just hope in the future they might add a few shaded areas or fans so those sweet animals can stay cool and comfortable too. A little while later, when we walked back around, my kids actually pointed out something that made me smile, the worker from earlier had brought a fan over to the pony that was standing out in the sun. Honestly, the business itself should take note and be more like her, thoughtful, attentive, and full of genuine love for those animals. It warmed my heart to see that kind of care, especially on such a hot day.

Our venue was fairly remote (Blairsville, North Georgia), with a limited selection of vendors. We found Jitterbug online, and ordered an arbor, 60 fruitwood padded folding chairs, and a backup speaker system for the band. We also ordered chair setup and teardown (with delivery the day before the wedding and pickup the day after). The guys were friendly, showed up early, and worked fast. I'm not sure what the deal is with the negative reviews on here, because I, at least, had an excellent experience working with Jitterbug. I highly recommend and will be using them again the next time we're in Blairsville.

The caterer, Yahoolah Creek, was amazing. The food was delicious, and we received so many compliments from our guests--it truly stood out. Every detail of the event was so thoughtfully planned, from the getaway car to the late-night snacks, the photo booth, and the beautiful fireworks send-off. What meant the most to me was how easy they made everything. All I had to do was show up and enjoy this special day with my daughter and our family.
