We decided to have some prints framed here and were shocked when the "70%" price was over $1,550.00 for (4) fairly small prints. We liked the matting and frame selected and figured that it was going to be a nice finished product that we would enjoy and decided to move forward. Two weeks later, we pickup the "finished" prints and get them home to realize one of the textured mattings is running the opposite direction of the others and presented as an entirely different color when in the light. There were also tons of dust/paper particles under the glass. We return them and ask for them to be remade showing the issues. We wait over a week and go to pick them up again. Shockingly, the matting is cut roughly, overcut on the corners and still has tons of debris and dust under the glass. I immediately reject all (4) because they were worse than before. Another week+ goes by and we go to pick them up again. SAME EXACT ISSUES. Mat quality issues (scuffs/rubs), scratches in the acrylic now, debris under glass, etc. We, for the third time, reject them all and ask for a refund and to get our prints back. The woman was incredibly rude, demanded a receipt from us even though they had one on file and was entirely disrespectful to us even though the work was abhorrent. They finally pulled up the receipt and issued the refund but as they were standing 10' away from us removing our prints they were having disgustingly disrespectful and highly unprofessional conversations about us. I am so shocked and appalled to have not only spent that kind of money to receive sub-par work, but to be spoken to and about so disrespectfully for rejecting such embarrassingly bad work. Shameful and would not trust them to do any work and, frankly, the store is filthy and none of the employees are particularly kind or helpful. read more

I wanted to buy something for Christmas decorating (garland or similar item). There are sale signs all over, 40%, 50% off... But the tags have no prices so 40 or 50% off of what? No one was on the floor to ask and I didn't feel like waiting in the checkout line to ask so I left with nothing. Disappointing, please make it easier for your customers to buy. Next time I'll think twice about stopping as it was a waste of time. I would have sent them a feedback email but their website doesn't have that info either... I'm finding them less customer friendly than they used to be. read more

Micheal's is a great store for adults, families, artist and everyone that loves to create. I have been a fan if the store since I was younger and I still find the store useful. They are not the cheapest art store around but I love the fact that they ALWAYS have coupons readily available online or in their app. I will always love them because of that, art supplies shouldn't be so expensive. This store has pretty good customer service and a clean and organized store. They have a large parking lot, so you should never have an issue finding parking; and they are located near a lot of other amazing business such as Buffalo Wild Wings, Staples, Bed Bath & Beyond and more. I honestly have no complaints. It's your typical Micheal's store. read more

This place was very huge and spacious. There are a lot of great sections with different varieties of products. I just roam around here and I purchased products that grab my attention. I'm so amazed when I'm in the flowers. They have different kinds of flowers. They have plastic flowers that look original and also they have fresh flowers. I grabbed my phone in my bag and took photos of this section. You can have it at a fair and affordable price. I only purchase one flower. I forgot what it's name is but it is a violet color and it is plastic , not fresh flowers. Maybe I will try to buy another when I come here again. But I'm not sure when I came back here since I'm too busy with my kids and my work. read more

Playing with prices. Bought stencils on clearence marked $3.00 and paint marked .99 which was it''s normal price. When I was checking out they said stencils were $10.99 and paint $1.49. Husband was with me and verified the prices were what I said. We offered to show the cashier where everything was and the prices that were marked because there was more of both the paint and the stencils on the shelves. She opted to call someone to verify prices instead - we left after cashier said the person couldn't find a sign with a price for the paint ‍‍‍ Haven't been to Michael's in years but now I think I remember why. read more

OK, I've never been to a Michael's before. Or if I have, it was when I was a kid and had no patience or money to spend. I kind of knew what to expect walking in but thought the store was actually smaller than it looked outside. I'm getting married this year, so finding cute and kitschy items is a must, but keeping to a budget is an even bigger must. Their bridal section was limited to one small aisle. I did find a banner on clearance for $5 though, and a metal sign that you can write on for 50% off (in a regular aisle). I thought the sales and clearance were relatively good deals, and the selection is decent, but I'd prefer to have had more to look at. Also, I found the check out process confusing-- you can see where the registers are, but not how to get in line. I had to pretend to look at an item in an aisle so I could size up the route to get to the register. Signage for that would've been helpful! I can see myself coming back, but would choose my local Hobby Lobby over Michaels if I had the choice. read more

I am not a fan of Hobby Lobby. Even before the Supreme Court ruling. Hobby Lobby was just to Jesus-y for my liking. (Yeah, the "scripture mints" sold at the front coutner clued me in.) Unfortunately, the Michael's nearest me closed down, forcing me to Craft with the Lord. I was happy to see this Micheal's, but after walking the aisles, the selection was dismal at best. They had lots of yarn and kids crafts, but seriously lacking on things like caligraphy supplies and varieties of stencils. I could not find any employees on the sales floor at all. It is a rare and sad occurance when I walk out of an arts and craft store empty handed. Truth be told, the selection at Wal-Mart is better. read more

On most occasions I've been here, the service has been quite good. This Michael's location does not have the huge selection as, say, a Hobby Lobby, but this place actually has employees, while you could wander around Hobby Lobby for days and not find anyone who works there. However, I must tell you about my latest trip there. I am shopping for buttons to glam up a jacket. The button selection is measly, and in addition, there are only two or three cards with two buttons apiece on each rack. I spot a tall, grim-looking man nearby doing some stock replacement. I approach the man, who has his back to me, and say, "Hi! Do you work here?" The man turns around, and holy crap, it's Lurch from the Addams Family! He stares at me, wondering if he should acknowledge that he is employed at a craft store instead of waiting on Gomez and Morticia. I expected him to mumble, "You rang?" Finally, Lurch nods. I ask him if there might be more buttons in stock, beyond the few that are on the rack. He looks at me as though I'd asked him to fry up some rattlesnake fritters for Pugsley and Wednesday, and utters, "No. These are novelty buttons." Uh, okay, thank you, Lurch. That will be all. We came here two weeks before Thanksgiving to buy some decorations and they had NOTHING!!!! Literally it was all Christmas and Halloween just ended. It was incredibly obnoxious and when I asked the employees if they had anything Fall since, you know it's the fall season and we are hosting Thanksgiving in a couple of weeks, and they said they only have "grab bags", which are cardboard boxes taped up so you can't see what you are purchasing with what they have left from fall. Worst service. All I am asking is to please have a fall section AT LEAST until Thanksgiving. read more

The frame shop has personal designers and I was so fortunate to have Jennifer and Sydney the manager assist me I'm start to finish with designing a series of wall art, including helping me navigate the size shape and composition of the series. I absolutely could not have accomplished this on my own. This particular Michael's has been overall pretty disappointing. I bought some wedding canisters for wedding favors and asked if I could place a special order for 12 more sets. They got my name and phone number, but I was completely unassured that they were even placed. They said they would call me when the order came in and I waited two weeks to call them. They said that it might take up to 3-4 weeks. I waited then a little over a month before calling them again. They had no record of my special order. I told them that my wedding was in a month so that if they could place it again that they should do it as soon as possible. They assured me they would and told me that they had three in the store for me if I wanted to pick them up. I got to the store picked them up and then proceeded to look down the wedding aisle for other things but to my great astonishment, found three more of what I had special ordered sitting on the shelf! I still needed more so I didn't tell them to cancel my special order just put my wavering trust that they would go through with it this time. So, after I stopped in a third time for some more items I saw another one on the shelf! What are they doing? I think they might be selling MY special order for my wedding, that now is happening in 17 days, and I still haven't heard from them about the second special order I placed that was supposed to get here a week ago! Not to mention, the managerial staff there seems to be very unfriendly and doesn't seem to go out of their way for customers from what I've seen every time I've been there. read more

So much criteria to use them, I think they make it up as they go along. I have never been able to use a coupon anytime I had one. Don't shop there often thank God, such a disappointment. I just left the store having been refused the use of my 50 percent coupon for E6000 adhesive. The reason was that it is suddenly considered everyday low value. I have been buying this expensive adhesive for my art classroom projects for a few years and this is the first time that the coupon was refused. I am very disappointed and will shop at Joann's where the coupons are honored. read more

Visited this store today to purchase a few items and noticed their summer items were on sale for 70% off. I chose some products and proceeded to checkout. At check out I was surprised when one item rang up as more then I was expecting. When I questioned it, the store manager came over not saying anything, took the item and scanned it. He abruptly and rudely commented "those aren't 70% off". I explained to him that the sign next to it said they were. He still continued to tell me they weren't. Finally after figuring out how to do at least one part of his job right (do a price check) he said oh, they are 70% off. Never at any point did he apologize or show one hint of good customer service. Alisha is a manager and was rude and condescending. Staff should not manage unless they know customer service. We went today looking for craft materials for a 50th bday party, they did not have the items we were looking for but we did find items that will get the job done. We purchased 4 jars that were on a rack with a 50% off sign, when Alisha at the counter rang us up they did not ring correctly, they checked with an individual in the back of the store and she stated there was no sign. I went back the sign was there. I removed the sign and handed it to Alisha and she stated it was not for that item, but it was the only item on the entire rack. She was rude and refused to give me the discount, my order was over 150.00 yet this manager would not give me an 8.00 discount. We had to get another manager involved who was willing to give the discount as the sign was on the stand. Unless Alisha is retrained in her customer service role I will be going to Hobby Lobby read more
