Katalina, which is the wife of the owner, is rude, disrespectful and down right unprofessional. She hung up on me and then would not answer the phone when I called back. Then she called me back because I left a message on the answering machine and act like she didn't know who I was. Christina isn't any better. She is also rude and unprofessional. Next their repair service, The tech don't know what they are doing. They also don't have just normal materials and tools to fix the AC when they come out. The tech tell you that someone will call to schedule someone else to come back out to fix the problem but you never receive a call. They didn't do a full diagnosis the 1st time, they just did something as a temporary fix to jump start the unit. The AC went out again 2 weeks later. They came out and didn't have the tools and the material to repair. I was told that it would be another week before they could come back because it takes 2 people to complete the repair. After the week was up and the tech did not show nor did anyone call to cancel/reschedule the appointment, I was told that it doesn't take 2 people so 1 tech will be back out. This whole process has been a nightmare. If it wasn't for my warranty company, I would not have dealt with this company in the first place. Was "forced" to use them because of a home warranty that I was given upon purchasing my house. They never called me. I had to call them. My home warranty set me up with this company and they have been out to my townhouse 3 times now. The unit still isn't fixed nor can they diagnosis what is wrong. They have made several assumptions such as Freon, dirty filters and the vents are not blowing the air properly. Each diagnosis took one service call and then they have to go back the next time to check the next problem, rather then take the time to look over the entire unit and try and figure out what is wrong. The latest is the vents and they commented that the dampers may need to be checked, yet they did not do that, instead told me I have to call the warranty company again to have another service call for them to go back out again. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. side note; I just got off the phone with the home warranty company and they told me that North Metro Air told them is was a structural issue with the townhouse. I had a completely different experience than all the other reviews on this site. I had a furnace/hvac combo unit freeze up and leak everywhere. I made a call to my home warranty company on a Wednesday night around 5:00 and they assigned North Metro (NM). I received a call from NM first thing Thursday morning and they fit me in that evening as an emergency call. The Technician (Josh) came after 6:00 and stayed almost 2 hours fixing the unit. He made sure that it was running properly, cooling and no longer leaking before he would leave. Josh was very professional, diligent and thoughtful. One of the best technicians to come to my home. I also, had reason to call the company twice, always got a live person and good customer service. Is there another North Metro Air in Hiram? It's hard for me to believe that I used the same company as other posters. I would use NM again. read more

I am so angry that my home warranty company American Home Shield referred this wreck of a business to me. These folks advertise that they have been in business for over 25 years and have a motto about integrity but are not a member of The Better Business Bureau; take a guess why! Seven days ago, Their contractor William showed up at our door, hooked up a machine reader to our air conditioning unit, told us that we needed a new motor, collected our $100.00 co-pay, said that he will order the part and we haven't heard from him since. I have spoken to their office staff several times and the only information that I am given is they are not sure what is going on and their job is to schedule the contractors as they do not have any information regarding what happens on a service call. Several times I was told that someone from their office would follow up with me; which never happened. The last time we spoke I asked one of the office staff.... "Since you set up the schedule for your contractors, why don't you schedule a contractor to fix my problem?" consistent with their service, the girl hung up on me. In closing, I wish I would have read the reviews posted on this site prior to agreeing to allow one of those folks into my home! read more

Terrible customer service. If your home warranty company assigns them to you (like mine did) point out these terrible yelp reviews and get someone else. You cannot count on them to do what they say. They appear to be overwhelmed with work and could not get their scheduling straight for a furnace repair in winter. Poor service, poor attitude, and overall a bad experience. The technician was noticeably agitated and did not want to be there. He made his first diagnosis without even taking the panel off the AC. I had to ask him to take it off to look at it. When I asked him to look at a second unit he was visibly annoyed that I even asked and told me no because he only had one work order. When I called my Warranty company, they said all he had to do was call and ask for a second work order number. A second company was dispatched and had a completely different diagnosis. This was a 2-10 Warranty job. I would not use them at all. If no stars was an option, I'd choose it. read more

One of the worst customer experiences I have ever seen. I usually do not fill out reviews or rate companies but I feel obligated to warn anyone who may potentially use this company to stay very far away. You will notice from every single other review this is a pattern of behavior. I have also filed a complaint with the state of GA and will share my experience with others in hopes that they might avoid a similar situation. 07/22 - AC failed. Called Home Warranty and was told a RUSH ticket was started and service company would be out in 24 hr 07/26 - No contact from service company, Called the home warranty company and was told North Metro AC was the service company and provided me a number to call. Called North Metro Air and was told they would be out between 1 and 5 the next day 07/27 - Took a half day off of work to be home for service window. At 4:45 they had not arrived or called so I called the office. Was rudely told a tech was still coming. A little after 6 a tech arrived. Randy was very nice but needed help on the phone diagnosing the problem. Was told the compressor was broken and a new one needed to be ordered. He would try to rush it on account of the extreme temperatures and my infant daughter in the house. 07/28 - Inquired as to the timeline of the part with Randy, was told the office would call the next day 08/03 - 6 days with no call I Inquired to Randy again, no response. I called the office and left a message, no response. 08/04 - Called the warranty company, they informed me there would be additional labor charges to fit the part to my system as a direct replacement was not available so they would not cover it. I agreed to the additional charges. They stated North Metro Air would have the part and schedule the service by the next day. 08/05- Called North Metro Air, left a message, no response. 08/08- Called North Metro Air, was told that the warranty company was waiting on my approval. I let them know that this wasn't true. I had approved it last week and the warranty company had already informed me the part was there/available and I needed to schedule a time. Was told, "oh, well I call you back with a time" rudely and hung up on. 08/09 - Called and left 2 messages, no response. 3rd call I got through at the end of the day and they scheduled a tech for the next day to complete the repair. 08/10 - Tech arrived, different one than previous. Very nice and apologetic for the delays. Once he began the repair he discovered it had been misdiagnosed, it would require total replacement and those parts must be ordered. He apologized and let me know that the previous tech Randy was the "big boss's son" and was newish and missed the obvious need for replacement. The Tech was very sympathetic and told me he would try to rush it. I thanked him asked if he would please have a manager contact me as the delays were getting to be out of control and August with no AC and a small child was dangerous. 08/11 - Contacted the warranty company and approved the new estimate, let them know the poor and rude service I was getting from North Metro Air. They told me to try and get a manager involved. Called North Metro Air and requested a manager, was told Eric would call me back that afternoon. No call received. 08/12 - Called North Metro Air as parts were received. Scheduled an installation date of 08/19. Requested a call from manager, did not receive one. 08/19 - Took half day off for installation. When the tech did not arrive I called and was told that despite having the parts for a week one half of the unit to be installed was still at the warehouse. The office lady I spoke to told me she would pick up the part herself and have the tech come out the next day on Saturday. I thanked her and requested a call back from a manager as well. She would call me to confirm the time for the Saturday appointment. No call received, no Tech was assigned to Saturday. 08/22 - Tech came and installed the new system. Was polite and system appeared to be working properly. 08/23 - Received a voicemail requesting payment. Called back and left a message explaining that I would like to speak to a manager about my service still and settle the bill. 08/25 - Called North Metro Air and left message requesting a manager call to discuss service and payment, no response 08/29 - Received a voicemail Demanding payment and threatening collections. I called back and left a message, again requesting a manager call me to discuss my service and payment. No response 09/05 - Brand new system froze up completely and almost fried the brand new system. The tech's did not check through the system and the filter was in need of change and installed backwards. I had to diagnose and fix it myself 09/06- Called North Metro Air and left message requesting a manager call to discuss service and payment, no response 09/09 - I called North Metro Air and spoke to Office Manager at length. Our home buyer's warranty contracted our service complaint out North Metro Air on 4/9/15 because our brand new A/C unit was running constantly and not cooling the house to the set temperature on the thermostat. A technician came out and said a dirty air filter was the problem. He left without ensuring that the house was being cooled to the proper temp. We called the home buyer's warranty again on 5/9 with the same complaint that was never resolved by North Metro's first visit. We were told a second service fee was not owed because the complaint was never resolved and we were within the resolution period. This was written on the work order to North Metro Air. A different technician came out and said the issue was that the unit was never properly charged with Freon when it was installed. He charged it for us and we have had no issues with it since. However, North Metro Air persists in calling my husband and I at home and at work trying to collect a second service fee that they know darn well is not owed by us. I have filed a Better Business Bureau complaint against them and I suggest you avoid them at all costs. Incompetent technicians and harassment for bills not owed. read more

Absolute worst contractors I've ever dealt with. They replaced the compressor on my AC, and then the AC was broken again 2 weeks later. My home warranty company sent them back out. They came to my house 4 times over the course over the next 4-5 weeks, never fixing it and never offering a solution. You have to call them to get anything done, and then They have no idea what's going on. They are asking me if I have any parts on order and what technician was at my house so they can call and ask him what's going on. Why do they not know this? Finally they said they are just going to recommend to my warranty company I get a new unit because they don't know what to do, but that's only after they tell them that my AC is also working. Huh? So, I call my warranty company to follow up and they tell me that the company says I've been harassing them by calling too much and they don't want to work with me anymore. What??? I would never recommend this company to anyone. My home warranty company assigned them to come to my home to check my air conditioner and diagnose the problem. North Metro committed to come to my home between noon and 4:00 p.m. Of course, I took a half of a day off of work to be there when they arrived. Having heard nothing, I called at 3:55 p.m. at which point I was told that they were not coming because they still had another job to get to, and that we would need to reschedule. I should add that the woman with whom I spoke was exceedingly rude. She did not appear that she could have cared less about the inconvenience they caused or their failure to extend the courtesy of call to let me know that they were not coming. She could write the play book for poor customer service. Their handling of my matter was absolutely horrible and inexcusable. How these people stay in business is a mystery to me! read more

North Metro Air came to fix my A/C through my 2-10 Warranty. This has been the worst experience ever. The first technician did not repair correctly which caused water to start leaking in my ceiling. We called to inform the company and they sent the same tech out to repair. His name is Randy and is the son of the owner. Randy "Jr" said he would get fired if his company found out and was complaining about having to pay for the damage to my ceiling. He was still unable to fix my a/c. He said he was going to return the next day with a supervisor...they never showed up. They had another gentleman name Jamie call my husband and say he was coming to repair the damaged ceiling and look at our a/c, he never showed up. I called the emergency line today as we still have no a/c on our second floor and left a very strong voiced message. Randy (the owner) called back and was very rude, when I was expressing my frustration, his exact words were "are you finished". I demanded they come fix our a/c and send a reputable company to repair the drywall. Randy said he would call me back in 5 minutes and I have yet to hear from him. This is definitely not how you do business. We have been patient and understanding up until this point. They say they value their customers and their work...that is a line of bs. If you can at all avoid using North Metro Air please do so. read more
