If you been to their old location, it's seems spread out and not as organized. With a smaller store, inventory looks overwhelming BUT everything is closer together and easier to browse, get help, and find that you are looking for. It's July aka ComicCon season. I tend to frequent here nearing ComicCon and I don't know why. I don't buy anything. I don't see anything new. But I do like to come here to window shop at their little nicknacks they post in the front area of the store. It's also my connection to ComicCon yearly. I think to really like this store you have to know what you plan to buy.

AUTOMATIC FIVE-STAR RATING! Okay, besides that, Now or Never is one of the few (if not only) comic book stores in Downtown San Diego. It's actually cleaner and more organized than the ones I frequent, but the relatively small size of the building means they don't have as much in stock as I'd like. Case in point, I wanted to show my appreciation for supporting SDCC by getting a couple of graphic novels of Trese and Usagi Yojimbo, but the ones I wanted weren't in stock. But, given how I was surprised to see a comic book store a few blocks away from the Convention Center, I can see myself probably checking it out again whenever I'm in the area.

I called to ask if a certain variant cover for a new issue was in stock and he gave me the NASTIEST attitude, I was in complete shock. It wasn't what he said it's HOW he said it. As if I was an inconvenience, a customer? Maybe he was overwhelmed since there was 7 customers in the store like he stated but again he could've had way better attitude I mean it is 10AM lively up! Starting with the most extreme offense; they're now **using AI on client artwork to extend image borders and more, and they're doing it WITHOUT telling the clients.** They attempted to do this with my product, as well. This is not an assumption, this is something the staff have told me over the phone, and they say they've "done it for numerous other clients and the clients didn't notice", meaning, they didn't tell them either. Additionally, the website was reworked, but multiple features as well as my entire order history have vanished from the site. Finally, the wait times have also dramatically increased due to multiple mishaps on their end with the provided artwork for products. If you don't want your artwork being affected or altered by AI, and you don't want to wait weeks for a job that other print shops can get done in 24 hours, I would search for a new print shop.
