My wife, son, and I have recently gotten into MTG and Pokemon together very casually and we visited this location in search of an MTG booster box, but due to the popularity of the set, we did not find it here. What we DID find was a very nice selection of Pokemon singles on display, very friendly and helpful staff, a very cozy environment, and loads of Pokemon Bulk to sift through. Since we're very casual I've been wanting to treasure trove through bulk for our favorite Pokemon with the family and we took the chance when Tubby offered us a table to sit and a bulk box. My Girlfriend and I have been trying to master set 151 from Pokemon. We didn't need any of the high value cards, only bulk reverse holos mostly. They have a healthy selection of Pokemon bulk here to go through from all sets (mostly SWSH/S&V) and we found about 10 reverse holos we were missing and that got us one step closer to our goal! Overall, the vibes were chill, and they charge market prices for single cards as well. I was surprised there was no heavy upcharge, since other stores do this. This was by far the best experience I've ever had at any card shop. I met Rudy and Tubby and they were awesome. I'm just starting to get back into collecting cards and Tubby made the experience so enjoyable. Not only did he explain the ins and outs of getting into collecting, but he let me peruse boxes of organized cards that I was interested in. Not only that - he gave me a free pack of cards to open! What a thrill! And the customers are also so awesome. A guy named Brian overheard that I was just starting and he gave me a free card from a pack he opened (that he paid for). Much appreciated Brian! Then Tubby pulled out some slabs (graded cards) from the back to look at and I purchased two of those. Ohhhh man it felt so good getting back into collecting this way. I can't see myself going to any other shops that are as welcoming as this one. There were quite a few people coming in and out of the shop and they were also holding a card tournament with quite a few people. I overheard some people joining the tournaments who were completely brand new to the game and other players were teaching them to play this game. I went to the store and asked about upcoming Pokémon card sale. i noticed the price of things were much higher than MSRP (some pokemon boxes MSRP of 20 selling for 40). he said he will sell the newer set at market not MSRP. meanwhile all the big retailers target are selling it at or near MSRP. its sad when the big retailers are the good guys and the small pop and mom shops are the price gougers. read more

I'm not one to do reviews, but this place deserves one. Although it was a bit hard to pinpoint the location of the shop, I was not disappointed after walking in. Definitely a hidden gem. The shop had just started business for the day and I guess I was the first customer that walked in. The man behind the counter, Tubby, welcomed me with friendly service. I ended having small talk with him for a bit and enjoyed the conversations we exchanged. As I browsed around, more people slowly came in, including a family. Tubby was the only one behind the counter at the time, but he was able to help everyone with the same friendly attitude. I ended up buying a Pokemon mystery bag and a tin after looking around. I wish I could leave 0 stars. My wife got out of work early to let me participate at this digimon tourney hosted by them. They canceled it because there wasn't enough people, which I am fine with and understand. I'm upset with the fact that the employee there was like, "you can spend $30 on sealed products to get the free promo." Keep in mind that you get the promo for free when paying $10 for the entree fee for the tourney. Bandai needs to ban them and revoke their rights to sell their products. read more

What an amazing little gem in the card game world! I brought my 5 year old here because she wants to become a Pokémon trainer/battle expert. Right when we walked in there were tables full of older kids(20s) playing card games and being loud and fun. My child, Lily, was so excited to see other kids doing what she liked to do. The front counter guy Evan Zuniga was so nice to Lily and asked to see her binder and cards. She was super excited to talk to older "cool" (in her words) kids about Pokémon. I let them know she was a beginner and we needed some cards and knowledge. They didn't even hesitate to start showing Lily around the store and giving her TEO FREE POKÉMON CARD PACKS! They said all new trainers get a free pack! She couldn't be more excited. During our time there the owner(tubby) told his brother (Evan) to give her one of his special cards. He gave her a really special Eevee card. She couldn't have had a bigger smile on her face. We walked out spending 65$ on Pokémon cards and packs but received a priceless moment and some new buddies.
