The name is a perfect descriptor, and the icing complements the almondy flavor so well. - Savory scones - take your pick, I've had most of them and they are all good. Crusty on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Last visit I loved the swiss & scallion and the ham cheddar herb. - Pistachio citrus rosewater cookie "Flower of Palestine" - new to me my last visit, but all the above flavors were subtle and very complementary of one another. If you're lucky enough to be there when the slabs of focaccia pizza are out, definitely snag yourself a piece. They have to serve the squares in order, as we learned, so you can't pick out your preferred square (crustless center vs. corner piece vs. one edge crust, similar to people's brownie preferences). The flavors rotate and there's usually a vegetarian and a meat option. The lady who's always running the counter is so sweet and friendly! There are a couple of tables and chairs if you want to indulge immediately, but I'd say it's mostly a grab and go kind of spot.
