Remarkably disappointing experience. We asked for two dozen cupcakes with a tennis theme for 15 year old birthday party. Given two days to prepare we got these: Green frosting didn't match on 6 of the 24. The white piping was so poorly done the kids wouldn't touch them. Just a complete lack of care and service. Charged us $3.50/cupcake to ruin the party. My 6 year old could have done a better job with the frosting. Next time I will save $60 and just buy generic birthday cupcakes at the grocery store. read more

Called up last minute and ordered cupcakes. They were all so delicious. In the shop you can buy a card for your special occasion. They have beautiful candles to add to cakes or cupcakes. She even applied a beautiful birthday ribbon around the cupcake box. This gift to my daughter made her day. I highly recommend dazzle. read more

I wanted it to be better. I need to be careful with expectations, if I'm going to provide fair reviews. With that said, after reassessing my disappointment and tasting head-to-head with Keene's Life is Sweet cakes, Dazzle just didn't make the cut. Keep in mind, though, these stars are relative to other four-star cakes in the state and other cakes I've had across the US, as opposed to relative to other local places. If you're in the upper valley, and you need a cupcake, I would definitely send you here, I just wouldn't tell you "Ooohh, it's the best, bro!!!" Just left Dazzles Cupcakes with my husband. I had received a cupcake from a client a few weeks ago from there and it was amazing so I had tried to come back in the weeks that followed, however the cupcake I enjoyed so much is only made on Tuesdays (Raspberry Cheesecake). I work until 5pm and dazzles closes at 5pm and they had been closed due to weather, illness, etc. It's Tuesday and I happened to get out of work a little early so my husband asked if we wanted to swing by and see if we could get one. We went in and they were almost out of the few cupcakes they had. No raspberry cheesecake. My husband asked if they had any and she ran in to the back and frosted two right there for us. It was right before close and she took the time to do it which was so sweet. I had had a rough day and that was an awesome surprise. The cupcake was amazing, of course. I don't live in New Hampshire, but had my wedding there and Yelp led me to Dazzle for our wedding cutting cake and cupcakes. I couldn't have been happier with the experience! Alexandra was so helpful and easy to work with throughout the process. She gave great recommendations for the number/size of items for our wedding party and helped us with simple decoration to differentiate the flavors, but still tie it together. I picked up the treats with my mom and Alexandra immediately saw that my mother was disappointed by the simplicity of the cutting cake decoration (even though that's exactly what my husband and I wanted). Alexandra was so kind and patient and impromptu added red sprinkles on top to give it a bit of color, please my mother, and still meet the desires of me and my husband. The cake and cupcakes were a huge hit!! They were all gone and everyone lived them-- I think the crowd favorites were the chocolate and red velvet. We rented a rustic cake stand from Dazzle and she accommodated our strange schedule to allow us to drop it off a couple of days after the wedding. Went here today with my daughter to see if we could find a place that made a decent cupcake. We recently had some from another cupcake bakery locally that were not very good. We chose 4 different ones so my two other family members at home could also try something. Across the board everyone loved them. Wonderful icing along with moist and flavorful cake. Nothing to complain about at all. The four we tried were Key Lime Vanilla Cinnamon Salted Caramel Mint Cookies and Cream Would recommend all of them. Very happy with what we found today. read more

I was really hoping that this new cupcake place would be great. My husband stopped and bought six regular muffin size cupcakes for $15, which is a small price break from the normal $2.75/cupcake price. We tried the mint chocolate, mocha, and chocolate bliss. The cake portion of the cupcake was moist, but nothing super special. Each of the cupcakes had a buttercream frosting that was ok, but again nothing special. The mint chocolate was not very minty. The mocha did have some coffee flavor, but was not an intense coffee flavor. I definitely expected way more from each cupcake considering the price of the cupcakes. Overall, I was disappointed with the quality and inventiveness versus the price of the cupcakes. I can buy a cupcake with buttercream frosting anywhere and for less money. read more

It's the only cupcake place within the Upper Valley as far as I know, so kudos on grabbing the specialty cupcake marketshare. However, while I thought the cupcake I had was tasty (strawberry with puree in the frosting), it didn't particularly stand out to me. The interior is cute and the proprietor seems like a nice woman. I also feel like the size of the cupcake is not in line with the price. I'm sorry if I come off as a Fat American. It's not quite a baby cupcake, but not quite a grown-up cupcake. I can find larger, more delicious, and more competitively priced cupcakes in Seattle at the ever delicious and lovely Cupcake Royale. But, alas, I'm not in Seattle. I hate to say it, but if I have a hankering for a cupcake, I might go pick one up at the Coop or the Starbucks inside the Dartmouth bookstore. read more

When I moved to Lebanon from San Francisco almost seven years ago, I discontinued my Yelp because there wasn't anything to yelp about in this neck of the woods. However, since opening about five years ago, Dazzle has been the exceptional exception. Their cupcakes are always amazingly fresh and beautiful, with the best texture, flavor, and obviously quality ingredients. I believe the baker and owner, Alexandra, was trained in France (which explains her flawless technique), and it's always such a pleasure talking with her about yummy things. This review is solely for their Vegan red velvet cupcakes. They're one of the best that I've ever tasted! Comparable to some high end vegan cakes in Manhattan, but much more affordable. The also offer a delivery service. I also tried their vanilla and chocolate (Vegan) cupcakes, and they were miles below average. This is the only cupcake shop near where I live, as far as I know. I'm so happy that Dazzle moved in! I'm a huge cupcake lover, and I've been to many of the big cupcake shops in Boston (Georgetown, Sprinkles, Sweet, etc.). I have to say that Dazzle's cakes are the moistest ones I've had! The peanut butter chocolate is AMAZING. Definitely the best one - my friends fight over them whenever I bring cupcakes to a gathering. Dazzle cupcakes definitely fits the bill. They have a wide variety of selections that are so different from the rest. You can mix up the flavors, decors and filling in numerous ways.
