Extremely disappointing treatment of a 15+ year customer I…read morehave been a loyal customer of Le French Cleaners for over 15 years, sending in many items every week, but unfortunately, my recent experience has completely destroyed my trust in the business. I sent an expensive blazer in specifically for a sleeve alteration--not for dry cleaning. When it was returned, the button portion around the sleeve had been bleached and the blazer was ruined. I tried repeatedly to resolve the matter directly with the owner, but was told that there was something wrong with the material and that I should contact the manufacturer. This was especially frustrating because the blazer had been successfully dry cleaned by Le French many times before, and it was not even there for dry cleaning when the damage occurred. After we were unable to resolve the issue, I had to hire an attorney. Le French submitted the claim to its insurance company, which approved reimbursement. The insurance company promptly paid its portion and advised that Le French would pay its $1,000 deductible. Despite my lawyer writing to Le French requesting the $1000, I still have not received the $1,000 owed to me. After 15+ years of loyalty, I am extremely disappointed in how Le French has treated me.
