I have so many good things to say about this spot! It is a must go to place if you are located near the north shore or visiting. The owner was super friendly and explained how macadamia nuts were formed and sourced. She went into detail about the products which helped us decide what to get! They also have free samples of all the different flavors of nuts they offer! On top of nuts, they have lotions, pain creams, honey, accessories, chocolate, etc. Many options to choose from. They have about 20 rescue cats located around the land, which are super friendly. She let us pet the cats! We had to stop by this small macadamia shop and get some nuts on our way around Oahu. There's samples in front of each flavor so you can try before you buy. When with friends or family on the North Shore I often include this stop. First of all the grounds are beautiful, lush and green with open air store placed among the foliage. Actual Macadamia nut trees grow close by in a very natural layout. It feels like old Hawaii with friendly domestic cats with lei collars and random chicken wondering around. There is nut tasting with multiple different tastings. They also have coffee tasting. The store also offers local products and great take home gifts for tourist and locals alike. The Hawaiian woman on staff brings the feel of Aloha to the shop and I always enjoy speaking with her. Stopped here during an all-day tour of the island, and it felt a bit off the beaten path -- especially coming from Waikīkī -- but that's part of the charm. It's definitely more spread out and laid-back than the touristy areas. Sampling all the macadamia nuts was fun (even though not everyone was super clean about it lol), and I loved being able to try the coffee too before buying. The workers were generally friendly and helpful. I ended up grabbing four bags of macadamias plus some coffee to bring back for my parents -- perfect gifts. The people working here are so sweet and friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to try out different flavored macadamia nuts, even tried out their Kona coffee. North Shore Macadamia Nut Company is one of the many recommended tourist spots in Ohau, and is usually incorporated into many of the "Island Circle Tours" offered on the island. It's a cute, rustic, open-air shop with the most variety of macadamia nut flavors that I've come across on the island, and offers samples of every flavour to try!  In addition to macadamia nuts, they also sell coffee, and gift items such as small jewelry, art, body care, and pantry goods. The Caramel flavour was my favourite, and I regret not buying more while I was here since I didn't see this flavour offered anywhere else. Great stop for some souvenirs to bring back home, especially if you're really into nuts. More of a bonus if you're into macadamia nuts. They let you sample all of their different flavor macadamia nuts and some of those were quite intriguing. They also sell Kona coffee beans, but macadamia nuts is where the value is here. Intro: I will preface this review by saying that I'm not the target market for North Shore Macadamia Nut as I'm allergic to macadamia nuts. Pretty comical huh? The reason I stopped by is because it was part of a tour that I participated in. Ambiance (4/5): This is a pretty cool macadamia nut. After parking, once you walk in, you'll see several vendors selling things like shaved ice, fried chicken, and acai bowls/smoothies. There is picnic table seating. And then you have the main store where you can sample and buy macadamia nuts along with souvenirs and other goodies. Service (N/A): I didn't interact with anyone working there so it wasn't part of my experience. They do give out free samples though and free coffee so that's a nice touch. Food/Drinks (N/A): Also not part of my experience as I didn't buy or sample anything while I was there. Overall: If you're into macadamia nuts, this is a must-stop when you're on the north side. Macadamia nuts are one of the things Hawaii is known for. They also have several cats who live on the property which is a definite plus. I'm not sure if they have any tours or anything (that's something to inquire about) but you can see the macadamia nuts growing on trees which was pretty awesome. read more

The Farm was an all time favorite while going to the PCC. The free nuts were amazing. There used to be a free nut cracking station but too many visitors probably destroyed that area. The Hawaii ambience is amazing while there were lots of local mech like jewels and cloths. The staff were very good, helpful and caring. A rainy day in Oahu spent driving around stopping at random places around the road. We saw a sign that said "MAC NUTS" and knew we had to stop. We got there around 15 minutes before close and they were very welcoming to us. They have samples for all the Mac nuts and coffee to try. Such a cute little pit stop on our tour of the island. They had a gift shop, a food truck and a smoothie stand onsite. The gift shop had allll kinds of flavored macadamia nuts. They also had free samples of the flavored nuts and of the coffee. Prices were reasonable and the souvenirs were cute! There are porta potties on site and they were pretty clean with plenty of paper. They also have several shaded picnic tables that were clean. We were able to grab some food from the food truck which was pretty good! The dessert was amazing. There are chickens roaming throughout the property and they are not scared to hop onto the tables, hehe. The employees running the gift shop were pretty friendly and helpful. Definitely make a stop if your in the area and check this place out! Bought some medium roast coffee to take back home from here and so far it has been one of my favorites! read more

4 for North Shore Macadamia Nut company and 3 for Da Kine Hawaiian who distributes thru North Shore retail site and online, but they don't have a physical store so I can't write a review on Yelp or Google or whatever. North Shore Macadamia Nut company has fantastic sea salt roasted macadamia nuts that you'll eat like popcorn! Super yummy. Bought some while there and have been replenishing via their website. Also used their macadamia nut oil which is good with fish and chicken! I also ordered online the Da Kine Mochi Gluten Free pancake mix. And the Ube mix. Both were really good if you like the mushy soft kind of pancakes you get with Mochi which I love. The ingredients are tricky though as the package says it has 8 ounces and makes 5 pancakes on the Mochi pink bag and 10 for the same 8oz in the Ube mix. Each bag makes two sets of pancakes if you follow the ingredients mix. So you have two rounds of servings if you split the bag in half. A little confusing and the owner said they're changing the labels. Hence the 3 rating as I'll give them a 4 when they resolve this and a 5 if I can figure out how to use this kid for funnel cake LOL! read more

Super cute shop! Very green and many chickens haha! Lot of options to taste test the macadamia nuts (roughly 8-15 flavors). I love how one of the employees said "you know what you are buying". I bought a bag of regular non flavored macadamia nuts and they were so good! The place has a very outdoor feel. We came there when it was raining. The costumer service is very nice. I would only come back here to get some macadamia nuts. The place is cute, and you should definitely come here for macadamia nuts (if you like them)! I first came here in February of 2023 yet I have been on and off of Oahu for much of the past 30+ years. I was part of a tour package that stopped here (it felt goofy to be the tourist). I walked in and a young lady named Taylor greeted me. I said I don't like macadamia nuts, change my mind. To my surprise she said she didn't like them either but, she had a favorite. I tried the sugested free sample of Cinnamon and Coconut Roasted mac nuts and I was sold. Today, in September of 2023, I have returned and I met up with a young lady host. I told her the story, she told me she didn't used to like mac nuts and boom. A reconnection with Taylor. I grabbed two bags of each of my favs and was on my way. Oh, I came here via Kunia Road and Farrington highway via the scooter I rented. Ey cuz, I rode a long way for these delicious, almost evil , delicacies, so you know they are THAT GOOD..
