Everything went well, we had a pearl necklace and bracelet restrung, not an easy task. It was done well, in a timely manner, and affordable.

They do poor workmanship, then they are rude when you take it back. But they can fix it for another 300 dollars. Stay way from them.

I have a family heirloom that was in need of some TLC and didn't want the piece sent out anywhere for repair and sizing.

I am elderly, and remember a downtown very different from what now often looks to me like the Tenderloin. This is not the fault of this store, but circumstances now make entering like being processed into a high-security facility. The focus is now on high-end work, and general services like wristwatch band replacement are no longer available. The staff was faultless in civility and instead of saying no, we can't do it--as is so common nowadays--I was referred to another business which I happened to know was reliable. That is, it was informed advice.

First issue was with watch repair. They supposedly have an in-house watch repair person, so I asked…read morefor an estimate to realign hands on a watch (minute hand wasn't on 12 when hour hand was on a marker). I was told that the repair person was not at the store at that time, but they would get back to me with an answer in the next few days. They never did, and so I called back. Holy cow, the run around I received rather than a simple dollar estimate. I know it's expensive, but they refused to give me a straightforward answer. Finally, I was told that "they didn't cause the problem so it's not theirs to fix." Second issue. I called informing them I was going to buy a certain watch. I asked if there was a list to be put on or if I could prepay for it so that it was mine as soon as they got one in. The person on the phone said they could do neither, but suggested I come into the store frequently to check and see if that particular watch came in that day so I could purchase it. Yeah, I'll do that. I'll swing by every day to check. For crying out loud. Then the person suggested I come take a look at what they do have on display because there might be something else I'd like. I called another dealer. They took my information and called me two days later to tell me my watch came in. They couldn't "hold" it for me, so they allowed me to buy it over the phone and I could pick it up at my convenience.

One week, no call. I call them, leave a message. No call. I finally get someone when I call, week two, and the woman tells me it would be very expensive to shorten. I ask when I can come get it. She will call me back. No call, three weeks. I leave a threatening message that I will be coming in and if I don't have my bracelet my next stop will be the police. Show up, no bracelet, relay my concerns. Young woman says it's in a locked office that she can't enter. Fine, get a call back that it's ready, go in and collect my bracelet. Three weeks to one month. During this I notice my voucher says "anything left longer than 60 days will be considered abandoned". So that's the scheme, I guess. Wonder how much merchandise there is ill gotten goods. This is such a difficult review to post, but it's necessary and has information for the public…read more Post-pandemic, pharmacies have been in crisis. They are overwhelmingly understaffed (for reasons I haven't quite been able to ascertain). At present, Walgreens is seven days behind schedule. What that means for patients is that they only prepare medications if you show up in person. When you do, you'll have to wait 20-60 minutes for your medications to be ready. The public, who Walgreens has not taken any effort to notify, although they have the ability to send out automated texts, does not know what's going on and it has had devastating consequences. I have experienced and witnessed those consequences. I take medications for seizures; if I do not take my medication, I will have a seizure. I showed up around closing time to pick up my medication that was called in about four days prior. It wasn't ready and I was told they could not ready it for me. It took tears, begging, pleading, and an explanation of the inevitable seizures that I would be having for them to get it done. A few weeks later, I waited for my prescription to be filled when a woman showed up to pick up prescriptions for either her father or husband, who was on his death bed. When she found out that the prescriptions were not ready, she began crying out. She told the pharmacist that she needed his blood pressure medication so that her loved one would stay alive long enough for his children to arrive to say goodbye. The pharmacy rushed and got the prescription filled. None of this is okay. America's medical and pharmaceutical systems have always been disasters, but I have never seen it like this. People's health and lives are being put at risk by the pharmacy crises. Walgreens is a billion dollar company. If pharmacy techs and pharmacist are needed, put them through school. Pick up the tab for the sake of human lives. I will be switching to a locally-owned pharmacy after this. I simply cannot back a corporation that would allow this to happen. The only reason that this review got two stars is for the staff. I wish I could hug all of them. They are visibly stressed out and overworked. They are being forced to deal with this crisis head on every day. And although they are doing their best, they're the ones who have to take on the frustration, anger, and outbursts from the public. They're heroes, trying their best in a truly terrible situation.

Last Friday (8/8) I went to pick up a prescription. I was there at 1:29 and they had the pharmacy…read moreclosed for lunch until 2. Okay, so I went and grabbed a drink and snack and then went back to wait, I was the only person in line. At 2:03 when the pharmacy opened back up a pretty big crowd had formed, but I was first in line and thought nothing about it. Boy was a I wrong. The male pharmacist decided to call every elderly patient (3 of them) before me. Not that they had been there before me or anything, just because that's what he wanted to do. Finally, at 2:30 it's my turn. They say my prescription wasn't called in. Awesome. Show back up the next day in the drive thru, cause you'll never catch me inside again. The lady said they had the prescription but that they hadn't filled it because they didn't have my insurance info? What?!?! I was just there at the end of May...you had it then, what happened to it? So I told the female that my insurance is the exact same and has not changed. She then tells me she needs to see if they have enough pills because she doesn't think that they do....its 10 pills! She came back and informed me that they do in fact have enough to fill it but then tells me I will have to come back in a few hours... what on earth? Then on 8/15 I call in a prescription refill that I will run out of on 8/19. They tell me I cannot call it in more than 2 days in advance...so I call today on 8/17 and I'm told that they're so busy they don't know if they'll have filled in time (8/19). This pharmacy location is the very definition of you can't fix stupid. The fact the front door cashiers are more competent, friendly and doesn't ignore customers is a sign maybe they should be the one to train these overpaid pharmacists. Just a thought
