The doctor insited an x-ray but I didn't want too I only wanted some blood work. The doctor told me she couldn't do anything for me. So I felt uncomfortable and decided not to proceed. As I was walking out I asked if I owed anything to 4 different women. They all confirmed I didn't owe anything because no services where rendered. 4 months later I get a bill for $274. I called. Lady confirmed nothing was done. So they charged me for just walking in the door. On top of that the nurse didn't change out the ear checker. Just put it directly in my ear. Gross. They took too long for the man with mono. There were only 3 of us in the lobby the whole time. Why did it take so long? Dont go here. It's easier than going to the fmh but it is actually worse. She insisted that it was most likely a very serious problem and needed to probably go into surgery for it. We went to the ER, spent hours there as well just to be prescribed antibiotics and a huge bill. She should have respected our wishes, but she did not and she failed as a medical provider. Highly, highly, highly, don't recommend going here if you can help it. Also, after we called to get our money back since they literally didn't do ANYTHING for us, they said they couldn't because we saw the PA lady... all they care about is making money, not helping people that are sick and in need of help.

I have been clean and sober…read morefor 9 years all of which I have been a methadone patient and during those years I have been a patient across many different states so I feel like I have a pretty good idea of what's standard and what's not. I have been blessed to have been at 3 separate fantastic clinics in my time and have attended two pretty terrible ones. From the moment I called Mrs. Brenda was my first point of contact and I wasn't even a patient yet but I was treated with more compassion and kindness and compassion than most anyone would expect from a stranger. She was warm and patient with me and she assured me I would be in good hands with my unique situation when I transferred to her clinic! That was an understatement . when I tell you that she has put together a recovery all star staff I mean she has outdone herself! Samantha the front desk girl is so kind then you hit the nurses station where you won't feel any embarrassment or shame as many other clinics have adapted this cold behavior of treating us like a number no matter how stellar of a patient you are! Not here ! The nurses have a warm and loving disposition and then Dr.Day .... by far one of the most warm and down to earth addiction doctors I have met! I was in a anxious knot for a week before my intake appointment because I transferred from CTC in anchorage and the doctor there met me once for 5 minutes barely made eye contact and then seemed to adapt the attuse of it doesn't matter how well you've done at other clinics you will start over here and earn our favor. I have been a model patient the entire time I have been in treatment because it's so important to me and I feel grateful I have it available to me. It truly saved my life and now I have a life I prayed for fancy years ago! I am living my answered prayers. CTC in anchorage was the very first time I ever felt unstable in treatment and I would tell anyone who was going to transfer to anchorage C street clinic to go to the other one or don't even move to anchorage. I think they are all burnt out and sadly when we spend so much time with people at work we often adapt each others attitudea and I believe this is what has happened at that clinic . in the 2 months I was there I had two separate counselors overheard staff screaming at each other in the hall when I picked up my take homes at the dosing window one day. Not one single patient had anything good to say about this place and it makes me sad because just 6 hours away there is a whole world of difference and I couldn't be more sure that this is where God was leading me than I am now! Yesterday was my intake at IMAT and today I feel more at peace than I have in months. Thank you to the entire imat staff for loving your jobs and the people you change lives for each day by going above and beyond to provide out of the ordinary care that is a step above the rest and in doing so you raise the bar for all clinics ! I am greatful to you and recommend this clinic to anyone needing care!
