After paying thousands between me and insurance, then months later said I owed about 126 or more - sent me to collections. Tried calling to work this out to office manager - no go!

As far as quality of care, Dr. Gamble was arrogant and insulting to me. I told him I had sleep apnea and asked if the breathing machine could be causing the irritation and bleeding I was having. The inside of my nose was raw and I had tiny pieces of what appeared to be cartilage in the blood. He told me to stop picking my nose and use a cream he prescribed. I don't pick my nose but I did use the cream according to his directions. I returned for follow up with my husband to let him see that his suggestions were not working. He spoke to me in a very condescending manner and insulted me by insisting that I was picking my nose. At the time of the second visit, I no longer had insurance, being in a waiting period for new insurance. By this time I was having considerable pain and there seemed to be a lot of erosion in my left nostril. He said I would need surgery but we would have to wait until my insurance "kicked in". He was very cavalier, as if it was my problem and refused to put me on a payment plan. I went to another ENT in Frisco who determined that I needed nasal reconstruction. He performed the surgery and found a polyp which he biopsied. It was cancerous. I had radiation treatment and follow-up. Thankfully, I left Dr.Gamble and sought out another doctor. Who needs an arrogant, insulting, and disinterested doctor like Dr. Gamble? I have healed and have checkups to stay healthy.

Since most of the issues are conditions I just have to live with, I have in recent years treated myself with OTC remedies and such. But the issues finally piled up to the point that I needed to see an ENT. My previous ENT, who was wonderful, had become so busy, I would't be able to get in to see him for almost three months. So I have begun looking for someone with a more open schedule. I read about Dr. Wyatt and saw good things written about him, so I checked with my PCP and he referred me to him, got me in in about two weeks and today was my big day. I filled out the paperwork in about 25 minutes, which was the most detailed I remember ever seeing, and went to the office , arriving about 15 minutes early. Upon checking in, I was given two additional forms by the receptionist, which had to do with several unscheduled procedures that might have to be performed during any given visit if the doctor considered them medically necessary. I was instructed to authorize the doctor to perform these procedures before I had even met him. When I asked the receptionist if that was their usual protocol, she said, I'm sorry, but you were here just fifteen minutes before your appointment. We don't have time for questions like this right now. We will have to reschedule or cancel your appointment if you want discussions about things like that. I was taken aback, but I really wanted to be seen, so I took a little bit different line of questioning and said, "Well, could you at least give me a ballpark figure about what these procedures might cost me (after Medicare and BC/BS)? I don't feel comfortable authorizing charges for unknown procedures when the staff cannot even estimate what the charges might be. It seemed like I was walking in to a used car dealership and asked to sign a sales contract for an unknown car at an unknown sales price with undetermined terms. I could go on, but I won't. And neither will I return to his office.

I was referred to and advised that Collin County ENT would take Tri-Care. Truth is that they do take Tri-Care and it is in network, but only as a secondary insurance, not a primary insurance (According to the receptionist that I spoke to it is office dependent, so they can make their own rules). So, what do veterans do when they do not have additional insurance? I think this is a very poor stance when your duties are to help. You only help when it benefits you as the Doctor. What a work-around to allow this organization to charge more for service. I know that doctors who support military veterans take more of a loss. It's a given but when you say you do but there's a catch, you are just spitting in the face of those who served to allow you to skate around the issue of possibly taking less money for the same payment. This is just so frustrating to know that I pay a lot for my military "Tri-Care Prime" insurance. More than most who may be transiting through this office (if they pay anything at all) but only to be told your second rate. Pathetic! I'm sure you have the ability to find my name. If your smart enough you will have my contact details and you can contact me. However, I may put you at the bottom of the list to return your call.

After I was sent back I was informed that it would be another 20-30 minutes before I saw the doctor. At this point I elected to get up and leave. I was asked if I wanted to call back to reschedule to which I declined. They obviously have too many patients if the wait times are this lengthy. I'm sure from the other review that they are fine doctors especially considering the patient load but to have this experience is rude and dis-courteous. I wouldn't dream of showing up to any appointment late like this.

While the doctors and icu staff saved my life the techs and nurses who cared for me after made this…read morean absolutely awful experience. Let me note 90% of what i am about to say was attitude or comments or actions by the techs not the nursing staff. I had a tech with me one night - one of my first nights off of the ventilator who decided to blare music all night. And then I caught them drinking thinking I didn't notice. I reported them and the nurse laughed me off. The next morning for shift change they found liquor bottles in the back where they were.. not so funny now HUH? To my knowledge the hospital took appropriate measures once the alcohol was found. Obviously being in a hospital and not being able to get up and walk and use a restroom is mortifying enough on its own, to hear staff complaining and saying "i don't wana do it" as they call someone else in... 1000x more embarrassing. If you're not comfortable with your job you shouldn't be in this line of work. While also having another one who was cleaning me up saying outloud "be professional.. be professional... be professional... to themselves while I'm exposed, extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. I had nursing staff and techs in my room treating me like absolute trash because i couldn't sleep. They literally threatened to put me back on a ventilator the next day if i didn't "shut up and go to sleep" the tech was sitting behind me on the phone with the nurse talking crap right in front of me Then they got so annoyed with me not sleeping, the nurse came in and administered what I believe was called propofol. Apperantly there was an order for it left on my chart from when i was on a ventilator. When my dad showed up the next morning i couldn't speak. All day i was completely out of it unable to put sentences together. I feel like it would take me 5 or more minutes to get out one single word He found out what they gave me and was LIVID. And that's the day they decide to move me out of icu into the main hospital!? I was on a ventilator for i think somewhere around 9 days and in icu for 12. I only had respiratory therapy one time, ONE TIME during my whole recovery stay did they come in with a breathing machine and a tube to practice getting strength back in my lungs. (Please note i had severe pneumonia that completely took over one lung and spread to the other) They moved me to the main floor, promised my dad i would be there at least 5-7 days before being released and he had time to run home (5 hours away) to get clothes and come back. What do you know... they release me after 2 days. I had seen PT twice. Once they came in after the propofol and I was unable to function or do anything the next day they strapped me on to a walker and i could barely get to the bathroom alone. Then they freaking discharged me. No notice to get my dad back in town No continued PT to get me used to being on my feet again before going home. No continued respiratory therapy. Nothing. They did not even send me home with any referrals to set up my own follow ups for respiratory therapy and pt my dad had to call and chase those down. I had to learn to walk, eat, drink, talk, breathe, everything all over again all on my own and should have had way more support in that process. I did have a few techs that were great I wish I remembered some of their names to shout them out. Again, the ICU doctors and medical team who cared for me in my time on the ventilator were incredible and absolutely saved my life (and they are the only reason this is not a one star review) but the rest of the staff and my experience after that.. a literal nightmare. I would absolutely never come back here for hospital care after the way i was treated by staff. And the things I mentioned above isn't even all of what happened. My dad had his own set of complaints of things he dealt with while i was ventilated and shortly after waking up. We were told the director at the hospital would call him to go over complaints shortly after i was released.. but did they? Nope. Did ANYONE call to try and address the things that happened? Nope! DO BETTER YALL! You have some life saving doctors in ICU. Give their patients proper care and respect after their part is done!!

Texas Health Presbyterian Plano - Labor & Delivery 5 Stars…read more December 17, 2025 Our second birth experience here was significantly better than our first. We had an excellent delivery team, and our doctor, Dr. Garrett H. Garner, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., has now delivered both of our babies. He is skilled, calm, and professional -- but also funny, informative, and great at keeping things light even in the delivery room, which helped make a normally stressful situation feel much more relaxed. We are very grateful for the level of care he provides. The nursing staff was attentive, kind, and helpful throughout labor, delivery, and recovery, and we appreciated their support and communication during our stay. Our recovery room was smaller than the one we had during our first delivery, but it was also noticeably cleaner, which made a positive difference during our postpartum stay. As a fun note, I made my wife the viral Mommy Mocktail (Sprite, cranberry juice, and orange juice) that has been trending on TikTok, and she enjoyed it during recovery. We are grateful for Dr. Garner, our delivery team, and the nursing staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Plano, and we would recommend this labor and delivery team to other families.

She is wonderful! She is educated and handles complex patients without turning them away, and even does many of her procedures in-office now whereas years ago I had to do outpatient day surgery. I trust her, and since she has worked on me so many times I have recommended her to friends and even my partner sees her now for his snoring (I also sent his brother to her for a similar issue and he loved her too and had the procedure done very quickly). The only downside is the stuff you see with most large practices these days: TERRIBLE patient portals (why do they make these things so awful - even the doctors complain about them!), playing telephone with a bunch of receptionists and MA's so by the time a nurse or your doc calls you back the actual message is completely different and they're confused, and booking out appointments with an extended wait time to see YOUR doctor vs. whomever is available all over the state when you need to see them for an emergency (though that last bit is a little better now as she is once again able to set aside time for emergency patients and you can get an appt. within 2 weeks vs. many months if you have, say, an ear infection or something). There are also weird billing issues between wherever their billing center - which may be outsourced now, I dunno - and communications between the offices. Also, if you need to contact the office outside of normal business hours they do have on-call docs who rotate, but getting through to the answering service can take forever. However, if you need a good ENT with a great sense of humor, who is not afraid of working with patients with rare diseases, chronic illnesses, etc. who has one of the best bedside manners I've ever experienced, Dr. Bryan is who you should go see. Plus she also takes Medicare if that is something you require - though make sure to check first as I'm not sure if they still accept NEW patients with Medicare after all the changes in 2025.

All in all a huge disappointment not only in the office staff but the PA as well.
