Robyn helped me work with basic obedience right after I got my Hazel while Robyn was still at PetSmart. It was immediately clear that she has a next-level understanding of how to translate what our human expectations are into language and consistency our pups can understand. She is efficient and yet effective at explaining why the techniques she teaches work. Well a couple years passed and, for the first time since I adopted Hazel, I was going to be traveling somewhere she couldn't come. While looking for solutions, I considered a Board and Train situation but was weary of trusting my pup to just anyone. By complete happenstance, around the same time I ran into Robyn and her husband while running errands! Lo and behold, they had started their own training company and would board and train Hazel for me. I was so relieved! This was the first time I had left Hazel with anyone other than family and the first time she'd been left for more than a night. Robyn and her staff took great care in communicating. Hazel is a breed mix of some famously smart and stubborn breeds. Training effectively requires consistency and, most importantly, cooperation from the owner. He was guarding resources, dominating other dogs, and had zero recall. Now, after working with Rachel @Integra Dog Training, he's a gentleman that sits and waits at doorways, until I walk through first and release him. He greets others, while sitting. He heels beside me as we go grocery shopping. He sits or downs and stays, while I walk away and out of sight, until I return to him and he is released. Most importantly, when I call him, he comes running to me and lands a sit in front of me. Rachel tailored our training to our life, visiting our home and addressing any issues or specific needs. We sent our dog JULY  for their four weeks program and had a wonderful experience with the dog training program. When I attended the initial consultation, I was amazed by how large, clean, and over-the-top the facility was. The talk lasted 30 minutes, and we spoke for almost one 1hour. They were patient, and we explained all our goals, which we wanted our July to be trained on. Tyler worked with July. We received daily "Pupdates" and report cards that included videos, photos, and an overall update on his improvement. I could tell Tyler cared about July as if he was his doggie. As a first time dog and first time Corgi owner, it was important to me that I train my dog well and correctly from puppyhood and they have helped me do just that. Corgis are smart but can be a bit stubborn, and Kathy and everyone has taught me how to handle my puppy with positive reinforcement but also being firm. Kathy also helps board my dog when I am out of town, and is flexible with me since I work long and unpredictable hours at a hospital. It's very difficult to find someone who responsibly vets and lets the right dog personalities mesh while playing, but she does exactly that. I never have to worry about my dog getting into trouble while I am gone. I would think twice about off leash. Their integrity is non existent. They bate and switched…read moretraining on me the day of drop off. I was told narcotics scent training was available but at drop off it was changed to birch wood. Then I have a dog with special needs as he will not eat away from home. I had to BEG for photos and updates knowing my dog wasn't eating for a week. Then they pass the SAME PHOTO and even sent me a screen shot of the edited time stamp to prove that they it wasn't edited. Guess they didn't look hard enough because the date the photo was really taken was on their screen shot. Attached are pics of the two weight pictures (drop off and pick up), a screen shot of the text message exchange and a close up showing the actual time stamp. The biggest thing is that I had a dog with special needs that was away from home not eating and I wasn't getting communication.
