I don't think there are enough good things I could stay about Dr. Voge and staff. They are kind, considerate, and the one that sticks out the most is how personable they are. They remember you and your animals by name and reach out without needing to. My pup was unfortunate enough to need surgery and they were all so kind. My boy ended up needing to stay at the ER for almost a week for close care and they have checked in with the ER everyday and reached out to see how I'M doing as well. They are the best and that's all I can say.

Voge herself is amazing - it's obvious that she truly cares about the animals that come in.

This is the site for their main office, but they are in Denton at the D&L Feed Store on Saturdays…read more9am-12pm, Lewisville at Terry's Supermarket on Wednesdays 4-7pm and a feed store in Grapevine on Monday, Thursday and Saturday afternoons. This makes it relatively easy to find a good time for your schedule, to take your pet, and you can call their number for the times, addresses, etc that's all in a recording. You can also leave a message if you have additional questions. There are some rules to follow of course. Since they are mobile, they do not take cards so you need to have cash or check to pay. Whichever location you go to will be in the parking lot of a business that hosts them, make sure you park away from the main entrance to not disrupt business. As the only negative review stated, you are responsible for holding your dog or cat while they get their shots. I mean, you are paying $10 for a rabies shot, I don't think it's unreasonable that you have to keep your animal still for the vet. However, you do not have to be standing and holding your pet, which I will get to later in the review. The actual process is that you stand in line at their motor home and fill out a clip board on your pets. One form can be used for up to 4 pets. When the vet and techs come out to you, they fill out the shots and treatments on the form based on the discussion with you and then retrieve the appropriate medicine. They will come administer the shots or medicine and then you pay and are on your way! To be prepared, know your animals age and weight so the forms are correct and you get the correct dose of medicine. I call every year before my pets get their annual shots and ask about the prices, but I don't believe the shots have ever changed. $10 for rabies, $11 for bordetello/kennel cough, etc. The cost of shots and heartworm tests is very low and affordable. They sell heartworm and flea medication at the normal rate and do not mark it up. The particular medication I choose for my dogs is a higher cost, but there are a variety of options. If you bring your pet first thing during the 3 hours they are at a location then they will provide spay or neuter services. I have also gotten antibiotics when one dog had an eye infection and when one of my dogs was a puppy she was suffering from allergies and scratching her ears until they bled, they helped with that too. The only thing this doesn't work for is an emergency visit, due to their available hours. The part that can get tricky is having your pet in line. This is not required, they will come to your vehicle if that is where you prefer to keep your animal. Dogs and cats are the most popular animals you will see, I think there are far more dogs. The issue is that some people think their animals are better behaved or calmer than they are, there have been some close calls in line. I personally leave my dogs with my husband in the car and walk over with the vet and then return to pay.You need to hold your animal still for the shots, so if you need more than a reasonable amount of help, bring someone with you. I have my larger dog stand in the cargo area of the vehicle and keep her hips still and I hold my smaller dog. I have seen people keep their pets in the kennel to help control the squirming. You can be fairly resourceful here to make this an easier experience. You cannot, however, expect that they will provide some sort of restraint or table or unreasonably slow down them servicing the line. These are great people providing a great, affordable service at many locations, including weekends. For me, that is a necessary service that I am relieved they offer!

Good luck getting a call back to schedule an appointment. I've reached out with zero response.read more

Before moving to Texas one of our fur babies would bark her lil head off the entire time she would be at the groomer so much so that I could hear her outside when I got out of my car. And due to that her baby would just shake. When I picked them up from MAH from grooming I did not hear her and asked them did y'all sedate her?! And they asked who gave her name and they laughed and said "Noooo....why do you ask?" I explained to them and they said no she's been fear the whole time! That enough was well worth it. But everyone was so kind, smiling, and very obvious they love and care about all pets! And it's that way from the desk staff to the techs, to the veterinarians! I'm not sure on everyone's names to call them out so I have to lump everyone together! We love them all! I was also surprised this last time I picked up my babies from grooming when Mya apologized for my sr dog's mouth not being groomed very well because he would not cooperate. He looked great as always! I couldn't see anything wrong! And really if there had been I understand because I know how he's started doing me the older he gets. For grooming customers who have ridiculous expectations I say this try and do what you want them to do yourself with the outcome you expect and then your attitude WILL and SHOULD change. And if so and you've been rude and ugly then you NEED to apologize!

High cost treatments in situations where it is absolutely not necessary, all why trying to play on the emotions of our love for fur baby. We saw right through it. We just nodded and smiled and sad no thank you. For example, Our past vet was a guru. (He also treated exotics, had a TV show with live call in questions, and would always err on the least invasive approach first when suspecting a diagnosis.) We are also on our third dog of this breed. We questioned him about a situation (two dogs ago, 12+ years) He said, "leave it alone. Those situations work best when nature takes its course. Intervening could only result in long term complications with their tiny jaw bone." Much experience with this and many years later, the vet at AHCS went on and on about tests & surgery needed immediately. ‍ She was a piece of work! (We were like, thank you, but can we just get the script for heart worm meds?) The other times they have manufactured concerns and played on the negative outcomes if we don't do something (again not what we were there for). The joke is on them. They don't know my husband is a trauma boarded physician. When he asks why chase a rare/odd suspicion when there is no sign during daily living and no treatment anyway? They (especially techs) look like a deer in the headlights. Their reply was "don't you want to know?" Ha! He said, "I prefer to wait for symptoms before I begin investigating. " Beware!!! They will rack up a huge bill for NOTHING if you let them play on your emotions!!
