    Dog vomit

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE!!! Our dog and our neighbors dogs both got sick here! We boarded our dog here for Memorial Day weekend since our typical boarding place, McKee's Pet Place, was booked that weekend. Upon picking up Ziggy and returning home, my wife noticed our dog had a cough. This was NEVER brought to our attention while we were away. When my wife called to inform them that our dog got sick at their facility, the owner told my wife, "we are not responsible for what happens to your dog while in our care." My wife then told the owner, "I'm gonna have to tell all the people that I referred to you, to not come here now." The owner responded, "I will take you to court for slander." My wife responded, "It's not slander when I'm telling people the truth." After that call, we proceeded to call our neighbor whom we recommended to use Canine Cowboy. She informed us that her dog Pepper came back one time from daycare and would not eat. Eventually the dog began pooping worms. Pepper got worms from Canine Cowboy. My neighbor had to spend hundreds to get her dog well again. As for Ziggy, we took him and got him tested and confirmed Kennel Cough, to which we've had to put him on antibiotics. This cost us another $204 on top of the crappy boarding. Our dog is still coughing, throwing up, and now wheezing. Canine Cowboy has refused to send me a copy of my intake paperwork I signed when I dropped off Ziggy. Canine cowboy has refused to take responsibility for getting our dog sick by allowing sick and non-vaccinated dogs at their facility. The owner, Erin, is completely unprofessional, abrasive, non-sympathetic, and rude. Run far from this place. They are not registered with the BBB.

    Text when Sadie was cut

I was surprised by the negative reviews so wanted to share our experience with Erin and her staff at Canine Cowboy, which has always been positive. We've taken our two fur babies there many times over the past 3 years for both day care and boarding. The dogs are so excited when we pull up! They can't wait to play. When we pick them up, they're happy and tired. We're so glad to have a kennel-free place for them to board when we travel. Erin and her staff send us pictures each day, so we can see what they've been doing and how they look. Our dog, Sadie, who is rambunctious, got a cut while boarding last weekend. Erin sent a text and picture (see attached) to let us know what happened. We felt confident she was taken care of by the staff.

Our pup absolutely loves Canine Cowboy! She always comes home dirty, exhausted, and happy from all the playing she does during her stays. We love getting pictures of her texted to us while we are gone - it makes us happy (and puts our minds at ease) to see her having fun while being cared for by others. We've used Canine Cowboy many times, and will continue to use them and recommend them to others!

Meet and greet is 10$ and no way to see or walk thru? Sketchy! This doesn't seem fair or reasonable.

Recently, we had to bring our dog in for an emergency. Her ears were swollen, and she was very uncomfortable. We had no appointment, but were shown to an exam room almost immediately. The staff member that greeted us was very good with our dog, understood that she is nervous around new people, and did her best to set our dog at ease. The doctor saw us shortly after, prescribed some medication, and our dog was back to her normal self by Monday. I would highly recommend Village Veterinary Center. They have always provided excellent care for our pet, have a friendly staff, and have reasonable pricing.

They even let me spend a little quality time with him before taking him back just in case. I will be visiting them again.

When I received Grizzly post tidy up he was shaking, still wet, and digging his claws into me. Once home I had to blow dry him myself only to discover he had 2 cuts. One inside of his ear and another on his inner leg. I expected a tidy trim but he had been completely shaved from belly button down and his entire tail hair had been cut off into a stub instead of trimmed. The groomer nor front desk associate mentioned anything and when I called to speak with management, I was told they would call back. It's now been 2 days with no returned call or concern for their negligence. $170 later and my dog has an uneven and unattractive underbelly and backside, shorter ear fluff (when we never asked for this to be cut) and trauma from being nicked in the process. For the price you can go somewhere that will actually care for your fur baby and communicate when things don't go as planned.
