This review is for an accident that occurred on 5/20. Unfortunately, I cannot give a negative star rating to this group including the manager John Ram which he deserves! My wife's car was hit by an SRT light rail train in downtown Sacramento on the morning of 5/20/25. For some reason and possibly because SRT was involved in the incident, they called for a tow. Upon arrival, a very shady driver promptly told my wife they were planning to tow her car to their lot on Richards Blvd. He also said it would $550 to retrieve the car from their lot. I asked my wife to firmly let him know , NO TOW. I asked to speak with the North Valley Fleet Tow driver and informed the driver AGAIN that he was not to tow and that my insurance group had made arrangements to take the car to their repair facility. The next thing I heard was that the SRT said they were at fault and would take care of the tow charges to relocate the car out of traffic. They planned to take their body shop on Richards Blvd. Once my insurance company made arrangements to pick up the car from the Richards lot, I was told by the Manager John that the tow driver didn't have the proper documentation and wasn't even licensed to transport the car even though is onsite contact at Richards Blvd. reviewed the tow drivers docs as all correct. This was an out-and-out fraudulent comment. He is unprofessional and has a FOUL mouth, dropping F**Bombs on the phone. I simply hung up. This guy is never to be trusted! Once I got my insurance claims adjuster involved and John was promised his undeserving illegal payment, he suddenly changed his tune. He LIED to me about the driver's credentials just to apply pressure for payment knowing I wanted my wife's car out of his lot. Towing in general is a SCAM, they carry around police scanners in their trucks and as soon as there is a accident, they magically show up. Once they hook you up, you're on the hook for the payment! My advice is to stay AWAY FROM NORTH VALLEY FLEET SERVICES. If you see their tow truck, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES LET THEM TOW YOUR VEHICLE, YOU WILL REGRET IT! Yes, the are a towing and recovery service however when you tow a vehicle you should be able to recovery at least the next day. Not only because it was towed Saturday and closed Sunday, the cost should have been for 2 days if any that. I would give them negative stars if I could! Service with integrity is definitely not in their interest, and I'll explain why. Recently there has been a surge in vehicle thefts due to the popular TikTok Challenge created by the "Kia Boiz" The video describes in detail how USB devices can be used to disable the ignition systems in certain Kia and Hyundai vehicles allowing thieves to steal victims vehicles. Well, I'm a victim of this trend and my car was stolen. The car was recovered by police and towed and stored FOR ONE NIGHT by the folks at North Valley Fleet Services. When I went to their office to get my vehicle, I was handed a 572.00 release invoice! For one tow and an overnight hold at a tow yard! I explained that I'm the victim of vehicle theft and I couldn't afford this, but they didn't care one bit! I was told either pay today, or leave it for later but daily storage fees would apply. So heartless; so cold, no leeway, and zero willingness to show some goodwill to a victim of car theft. Faced with an inevitable loss, I signed the title over to avoid future penalties of "storage fees". These folks are in business to prey on the weak and less fortunate. I could've come up with some money within two weeks, but how can you save for their fees if they're just going to gouge you for daily storage? Whoever owns this place I say to you that I'd rather not have someone smile at me while you're doing me a disservice. You could've gained a lifetime customer if you'd have showed some simple courtesy and given an opportunity to get some affairs in order. Best customer service at a tow yard that I've ever had! They felt like family, loved it. Anyone who gets the pleasure of doing business with the manager, Lindsay will have a great experience. This company was not honest in there charges. I was told I was charged one price over the phone ($175)for diagnostics and was charged almost double when we picked up the truck. It was was over $300 for just a diagnostic. I asked to speak to the manager he said he was the manager. obviously this company cares more about the money than the customer. So watch out. read more

My review about 10 days was for their towing services. This review is for their repair service. Again, I would give them 10 stars if I could. Absolutely the best customer service I have experienced in a very very long time. They worked us in despite being extremely busy. Went through the motorhome, itemized a list of parts, called with a quote for parts and labor and gave us a timeline when things would be completed. Because there was rain in the forecast and our windshield was cracked and therefore leaked, I asked if someone could go out and tape across the top of the windshield to prevent water from getting inside. Went to pick up the motorhome and work performed was explained, windshield had been taped as requested and price was a little less than the quote. The communication between the tow driver, service manager, service advisors and mechanic was seamless. Motorhome ran great on the trip home which was the best testament to the great work North Valleys did for us. Would not hesitate to use them again should the need arise. read more

I got stuck with the job of finding a body shop to fix a truck we were thinking of retiring. It got into an almost tragic teebone accident when an older women pulled out into the path of our truck. Luckily our driver was alert and swerved to left just in time. Low value truck but still working daily. Needed body shop I could trust. I called around and found out about North Valley. Took a chance and drove truck to North Valley and was told No problem with this estimate from Ladies Insurance company, which by the way was only 4900.00 Jeff Lee set it up and said he would contact me and I told him that it wasn't a priority but would become an issue after x-mass. He was an absolute man of his word and we got our old bobtail back better than expected plus a kick-ass new seat for and excellent price. Jeffs communication skills are spot on and he updates status with texts and phone. I will give them work if this happens again! The poor womens car was totaled she was really shook up but no injuries all the way around. So long story short if you need a commercial truck repaired, call Jeff Lee or his assistant Colin. read more
