I was referred to California Auto Body by my AAA claims adjuster as the best one they use. There were some communication problems, partly my fault but the staff was always professional in handling my claim. The evaluation of my damage was thorough, finding things I didn't originally see. They did an excellent job fixing the damage. They do not provide updates as the car is being worked on. I had to call to see where the were in the process. Aside from that my experience with them was good and I'm happy to get my Prius back looking great. read more

AAA recommended this place... When I came to pick up my car, I was extremely disappointed with the paint job. It was a terrible experience. The person who was assisting me had a condescending attitude until he heard a man's voice on my phone, at which point he changed his tone., They initially told me that my car was ready for pickup on Thursday, but when I called the next day to confirm the pickup time, I was informed that " there is something wrong so it's not ready." This shop seriously needs to improve its customer communication and professionalism. Really disappointed. I'll need to take my car to another shop for it to be corrected and painted properly. read more

Overall great experience with them. Dropped my car off on Monday, was expected to get it back in 5 business days so I just assumed next Monday but it was done by Thursday ready to be picked up. It was for some minor damage so I didn't expect it to take long but that was quicker than thought. The customer service was great, have no complaints at all. Went through AAA insurance to this place and the bad reviews made me skeptical but it was close to where I am so I gave them a shot and I'm glad I did. I wish I could give them 0 stars. I really wish I would have read the reviews for this place before agreeing to take my car there. I didn't think that a reputable insurance company like AAA would recommend a subpar body shop. Lesson learned. I had the WORST experience I have EVER had in my life with this body shop. I never write reviews, but this shop needs to be shut down. Or at the very least, AAA needs to stop referring them as an option for auto repairs. Instead of replacing my bumper the manager Liz decided to just "patch" it without my permission. She lied several times during our conversations and tried to charge me for parts that she had no intention of putting on my car. She also over charged by FOUR hours for labor. The owner Jose had an opportunity to make things right but decided instead to follow Liz's lead in providing horrible customer service. I have reported this company to the Bureau of Automotive Repair, and if you have had a bad experience with them, you should too. People deserve respect and honesty. Contrary to what people say, CA Auto Body on Power Inn is highly recommended! Recently, I suffered a rear-end collision which luckily only resulted in my bumper being damaged. My insurance took care of my estimate and I decided to take my car here for repairs because of the impeccable work and service they provided my girlfriend previously. I was of course, skeptical, because every collision results in different damages and drivers must endure different experiences when taking their car to a repair body shop. I have experienced my fair share of body shops, regretfully, and all were miserable. Until my girlfriend pointed me here and, I was definitely proven wrong! After collecting the necessary insurance paperwork, I brought my car in and they took care of the rest. Liz, the front desk administrator, was very helpful, knowledgeable, and caring during this process. She always keep me up to date on the repairs and answered any questions I provided. The car was completed a day earlier from estimated and the work was AMAZING! Not only were the expected repairs completed, they completely detailed my car and made it seem like I received a brand-new version of it! Liz went over all the paperwork and how the repair process went in complete order, leaving me not just a happy customer but a customer with a duty to spread the good word! Please, if you have any repairs needed and you have went through the proper process with your insurance, take your car here and you will not regret it! Most incompetent business I have dealt with in a long time. AAA referral. Small damage to new Tesla. Waited 4 days for appointment to get estimate. Took it in on Tuesday for estimate (approximate $1,000 according to other insurance company). They took many pictures and said they would email estimate. Two days later I called about receiving estimate and they said it would be ready in 3 or 4 days. Then I called insurance company and they put me on hold and called California Auto Body. Adjuster cam back on line and said Cal. Auto Body said they do not fix Teslas. THIS BUSINESS IS DISHONEST! read more

First she cancelled my original appointment which made me have to wait another two weeks for my car to be repaire, then her shitty staff kept saying I have to pay my deductible even tho my deductible was waived and they can clearly see that but whateve, lastly I called her after she instructed me to do so for a discussion about my vehicle only for me to call her and she rudely transfers my call to her uninformed shitty staff. I took my car into this shop to get my trunk fix as Triple A has recommended that it's the top notch auto shop. I picked up my car after two days and later realized the right passenger front rim clear coat was all cracked . When I called the manager Liz she said when I brought the car in, the rim did not look like that. After bringing my car in for Liz to inspect in person again, she stated we can't be responsible for the bad clear done by someone else. And that the specialist only washed my car with soap and water so that couldn't have cause anything and their focus was only on the trunk. I want the shop to understand that even though they are not taking responsibility for this matter I want them to take this into consideration that as the manager Liz has stated on the call my right side passenger rim did not look like this when I drop off my car. So I want them to know that as they have stated they only used soap and water to wash my car so this couldn't have happen but I want them to also know I have wash my car for over 2.5 years and my rims have never turned out this way. Nor was it like this until after picked up from the shop. I am a very attention to detail person I can always tell when something looks off therefore I am upset and angry about not getting a good enough closure from either the auto shop nor Triple A. I will never go back to this auto shop again, I assume it's my bad luck and will keep it professional. read more

I had an appointment last year 2019 around April 20th. Service was excellent, but the part that disappointed me was they notified me my 2018 Toyota Corolla XLE driver door had to be replaced with a 2014 corolla door. When I got my car it was fine, but after 4 months my window would jam inside the door. Or it would go down and then back up on its own. I went into a Toyota dealer to let them know about my problem, and they let me know that the window motor was old and had to be replaced. I called CA Auto Body and let them know, they said my warrantee had already expired. A window Motor should not have issues after a year. Especially if the vehicle is bought at 0 miles. read more

I went in for an estimate and they wanted to charge me $50 because I wasn't going through my insurance. I guess they can over charge the insurance companies for repairs and rip off a cash paying potential customer by asking for a fee to do something that should be free. This place is a rip off. This business decided to leave my car in terrible condition. CaliFornia auto body shop replaced both of my bumpers but carelessly left the crumpled fender with all the damage from the accident I didn't cause. They left major dents and damaged to my vehicle. The office staff blamed my insurance company and after talking with my insurance agent they gave me FALSE information. All they had to do was resubmit my claim to fix the damages and they DROPPED the ball. Kept my car for over 3 1/2 weeks and the day they scheduled for me to pick up my car I let them know I wasn't happy but the office staff basically said to BAD. They wanted my car off their lot. Once I was dropped off at California Auto body and the damage on my vehicle was not to my standards or anyones standards when they pay so much to the insurance company each month. Do yourself a favor and avoid this business like a plague. They don't have your best interest in mind at ALL and this business does not even deserve one star read more
