They open at 7:30 a.m. so if you're an early bird I'd advise to get there way early before they open. I got there 10 minutes prior to opening there were already at least 20 people waiting. The line will move fast, but just something to know. I was there to get a routine blood draw and it only took around five minutes when I went back to the draw station. I warned the nurse drawing my blood that I have small veins but after a couple minutes she was able to find it and get what was needed. She was very patient and used 100% care taking my blood which I appreciate. I've been a Kaiser member for almost 10 years and always experience quality care from the staff.

Instead of giving me a new Psychiatrist when…read moremine retired, you had someone refill prescriptions, then sent me to the damn Pharm D who was quick to try medications, LOTS of them, and I had the pleasure of side effects of tapering off SSRI after SNRI (I hope I you never have to taper off Cymbalta). I told her every visit that i didn't want to talk to her again, but she kept calling, as no o n e would give my the care I am entitled to. I can safely say I've spent at least $20k on visits to a therapist and psychiatrist outside of Kaiser (this teaching psychiatrist had me on the right meds within days... That doesn't cover the cost of Rx that Kaiser wouldn't pay for and still won't. My sleep apnea experience was traumatizing. I went to my appointment and they called a large group of people and gave us clip boards and told us to follow them to a conference room. I stood outside in the hallway as there were too many people. I had a panic attack, dropped my clip board and ran to my car and sobbed. They called me and asked me to come inside and they would meet me individually. Of course course, it was my fault because I didn't specify a single appointment. They told me CPAP was the only thing that would work for me. He said this works well for 90% their patients. I told him specifically I can't sleep with something covering my face. He handed it to me and told me he promised it would work. I didn't touch it and said "if you have no intention of listening to me, I'll find someone who can. His demeanor changed somewhat and all of a sudden there was an oral appliance. They also said weight loss could help, but they are unwilling to offer any service to you. My podiatry experience started terribly. I was shunted to PT. I told them the exercises are hurting more than helping. This goes on for a while and I suggest imaging and to meet with a podiatrist as it has been going on for a while. I told that sh!tty doctor to send the referral or I would start making complaints, as the squeaky wheel gets the oil. They put one ankle in a boot. It felt good for a couple week. Next, a year latter, I told Kaiser that I needed a new and competent podiatrist (and that I was still considering reporting the previous podiatrist to the DCA). Kaiser Permanente is great if your young and healthy! They did help me significantly when I had a stroke (medication related). Though, it would have never happened if Kaiser wouldn't have dropped my psychiatrist and said "too bad." Protect yourself! Fight for yourself! I stopped by Kaiser Vacaville for some blood work. I originally made an appt for this morning,but,…read moreoverslept through it. I decided to stop by when the rain calmed down a bit. The lab is located on the 2nd floor, station A24. This is for walk ins only. If you have a lab appointment, the sign will redirect you to A11. This Kaiser lab location has you take a number ticket and wait for your number to be called by reception. From there, reception will verify your info with your Kaiser member card. Once done with reception, I found a vacant table to sit until my number was called by the lab staff. I didn't wait long before me number was called. The lab tech that helped me was friendly and was really great about getting my blood (I have very small, tricky veins that love to move when poked by a needle) after the second try (You guessed it, my vein moved the 1st time). I was done in no time. Although the process was quick, it would have been faster if I kept my appointment. There was a lot of other patients waiting in the lobby when I arrived and kept coming as I was leaving. I would love to dsay I won't be back. But, most likely will be for my healthcare. LOL. Upon arrival, we were greeted and checked-in by the staff at the front desk, who seemed friendly enough. Since we arrived quite early, we had a little wait before being called back to be seen. We are pleased by the overall quality of care that our daughter received here. The medical assistant and nurse practitioner who saw our little one were friendly and excellent with our daughter. The nurse practitioner was knowledgable on the various illnesses currently going around and prescribed the appropriate medication for her. Overall, we are thankful that there are walk-in care options when primary care physicians do not have any availability for that given week. However, walk in care unfortunately does not see all types of patient complaints. If you have a sick child, this is definitely a viable option though.
