There are much better places to go if you're looking to sell silver and gold. I took in a bunch of…read morepre 1964 silver quarters and dimes and they gave me a number. I wanted cash but all they would do is give me a check. I was told they are not a bank, which I thought was rather rude. When I asked how they arrived at the offer number, he was super vague...something like we take what we can get for them and then try and make a little money...lol. He said they don't do percentages. Well, when I figured it out, it turns out they offered 18% less than what the silver content was worth. That's a pretty big number. The reason for 2 stars is...it may be a good place to shop if you know what you're looking for and compare prices but it's definitely not the place to sell anything. They lowballed me on sports cards a few years ago...but that's another story.

In addition to coins/jewelry Ohio Estates also has a large selection of sports cards. They're…read moreauthorized Topps & Panini dealers and have the newest releases in stock. They have a pretty deep selection of Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh/Non-sports cards too if you're into that. Prices on packs/boxes are very fair, sometimes even better than retail. They are very honest and I have no concerns about tampering/resealing with loose packs. Staff has always been friendly with me (even when I come in 15 minutes before they close). If you've got card questions or you're selling cards you should call ahead to make sure someone that does cards is available. Definitely a solid, reliable place to get cards. If you go check out the .25¢/.50¢ singles in the bargain bins.

First Hingis first, I want to stress that if their jeweler hadn't have done such shotty work I…read moreprobably would have continued to patronize this business. So I guess thank you shitty overpriced jeweler because now I know myself and my husband have been getting ripped off since at least December 2019 probably longer considering we have been regular customers since they opened the doors. Hubby purchased my engagement ring December 2019and gave it to me almost immediatel. We were married on7/13/20. Thanks to Covid it was tricky to get into a jeweler since they were a non-essential business. So we decided for the time being we would get a cheap band from Walmart and then upgrade when things went back to "normal"... Christmas 2020 we went to Toledo gold to get a wrap so I could solder my rings together . so we went paid a little more than $500 for the wrap whole it was being soldered together I asked them to fix the prongs on the center stone because they weee catching on EVERYTHING! I was terrified I would lose my center stone Eventually. And the rings needed sized. Well from that repair forward it's been a literal SHIT SHOW!! so on top of the wrap cost we had to pay for the prong repair and the soldering which was $150 GREAT!! The next Christmas comes (2021) we took it to be dipped and just maintain it so nothing end up falling off and the prongs were catching again. another $120 plus that year I bought my husband a charm for his chain which was $100. Finally I decided that I wasn't gonna keep taking it to get dipped once a year and maintain it. They don't even offer a warranty (which there should be a warranty automatically on the labor at very least!!! The last week on June 2024 I needed to get it shiny again because we had a wedding to go to... We dropped it off on a Wednesday. We didn't get a "quote" on the work it needed until the following g Monday. I told him to Hold off because I needed it for the event because he said it would take 1-2 weeks.... Which is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! He then says he may have a rush opening available which he did and wouldn't ya know it was ready the next day!!!!It just so happened to be the 3rd of July and Ross informed me they were closing early in the voicemail. I had to wait for my husband to get home from work because my car was in the shop. I got there 9mins before his closing he was still in the parking lot (he claims it's his business) but said he couldn't open back up to give me my ring I would have to return on Friday.... My husband picked it up on his way home I immediately noticed the prong looked funny and the diamond looked slanted at an angle and now there was a mysterious bump on the side of the ring that was not there before and if it was it was unnoticeable because I am the kind of person that would have rubbed my finger raw on the bump because it would have drove me crazy!!! I wore it to the wedding that night and could not stop rubbing my finger on the bump. I have wore this ring every day since I have gotten it except when it is being repaired. I LOVE my ring!!! I took it off so fast when I got home and first thing Monday morning it was back to Ross. He immediately gave me side eye and made me feel like I was being pick. And even said that I am trying to wear a lace wedding dress like a pair of blue jeans. But funny thing is I am a driver!! Not a whole lot of manual labor going on driving!!! I remove it when I'm cleaning doing my hair crafting or whatever else I decide to put my hands in or on. I am not beating it to death nor am I having multiple people doing repairs on it!! The engagement ring was purchased there, my wedding band and each and every single repair... I thought loyalty was important especially with a jeweler. My ring sin their store from Monday July 8th until Tuesday July 16th when I got the call to come get it I was basically told I was S.O.l even asked by Ross "what would you like us to do?" Idk ROSS MAYBE RETURN MY RING HOW IT WAS GIVEN TO YOU WITH THE REPAIRS I PAID FOR!!! Then was told that I have 2 options At which time I abruptly informed him that he was NOT gonna be giving me any options and they are actually unlimited because I was taking it right now to a real jeweler as I was walking out the door he yells to me if I do that I will loose the stone... Well ROSS... $70 later and another week without my ring and it's fixed with all the stones intact!!!! TODAY IS A GREAT DAY TO LEARN A GREAT LESSON... YOUR NOT ALWAYS RIGBT AND YOUR WAY ISNT THE ONLY WAY... I always try to put myself in the consume's shoe and empathize with their feelings and really ask myself. How would I feel in this situation and how can they make it better? Ross doesn't do that. EVER!!!

Highly recommend Toledo Gold Exchange. Excellent service!…read more Good selections! Ross is extremely knowledgeable, kind and did not rush us through our jewelry purchase. We will definitely be returning! Ann
