This has put me and my ex husband in a very precarious position since now that we are divorced neither of us can move on with our lives until this house is on the market and sold. This was obvious as some of the properties he used as comps did not even have foundations. He also used an under contract property as a comp, with no knowledge of the actual selling price. (This was confirmed by that property's realtor.) I addressed this with Northeast. I asked for another VALID appraisal. They refused, aside from Linda T. (who was amazing but on vacation) the customer service was terrible. They would not refund my money and made no attempts to provide a legitimate assessment. I switched banks, got a valid appraisal and bought the home. I will never work with Northeast Bank and recommend the same.
