Bought a car from these guys recently. Test drove vehicle. As soon as we started, the check engine…read morelight came on. My mistake was believing them when they said the code was for a "grounding wire." They called the mechanic who (according to them) had done a tune up on the vehicle. We took the vehicle to the mechanic after purchase, who said the same thing, turned off the check engine light, and sent us on our way. The light popped back on immediately, but we had already paid for the car (my mistake again). We figured we could get it fixed fairly easily. Got home, checked with my own code reader, and two codes popped up. P0300 and P0420. Neither of those list anything about a "grounding wire." So now we're looking at an expensive fix after we diagnose what the actual issue is. Seems like the catalytic converter is garbage. The inside of the car smells like exhaust when it's idling, and it's a rough idle. Yeah, it's an old car, but whatever "tune up" was done was a poor job, and the fact that they lied about what the code was, and seemingly colluded with the mechanic, shows the blatant scam. My first mistake was not asking for the code myself, and trusting a car salesman to have some integrity. They will rush you to get those papers signed, not even giving you time to read any of it, lie to your face, take your money, and get you out of there before you realize the mistake. Lesson learned. Buyer beware.

Confident in their report, the vehicle was paid for at the asking price. So far so good except for one little area where they didn't take into consideration the age of the vehicle versus the low mileage, meaning I was expecting to keep it for awhile. There was an issue that would need addressing a year down the road. This was a unique situation because the vehicle was bought in Pennsylvania but shipped to Arizona. Because that was not caught, the manager Vas apologized and at first wanted to work something out with his shop to address the area needing repair. When he realized the vehicle was already in Arizona, +he refunded my inspection fee. That was the best he could do given the circumstances. I used it as a teaching moment for him to instruct his staff to note things that were not just immediately in need of attention, but those that would need attention soon and already showing signs of wear. (control arms and bushings, which still can cause uneven wear on tires in early stages.) In retrospect the opportunity to bargain with the seller of the vehicle being bought was missed and an expense was incurred, but I think a lesson was learned by all.

Everyone worked together in helping me purchase this wonderful car that the entire family is in love with. We purchased a 2012 Ford Edge Limited with 52K miles and I took my family mechanic / friend to check out this car. He is a Japanese car fan and after seeing this vehicle, he wants to get one for his son. Car was in excellent condition when I left the dealership. It has all the bells and whistles and drives like a Lexus. I was never a Ford fan, but after this purchase I might be considering getting another Ford. We drove all the way from Long Island, NY to purchase this vehicle. Thanks for making this drive and purchase worthwhile. I will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. Always make sure you pay a mechanic to see the vehicle you purchase before you purchase any vehicle. Makes the process much easier. Car Purchase: December 2022

The truck has been in the shop since October 8, and I've had to pay for a rental vehicle out of pocket while waiting for a resolution. Despite multiple calls, emails, and text messages, I've had no response from management or any help resolving this issue. I expected honesty and accountability from a licensed dealer, but so far, I've experienced neither. I would strongly caution other buyers to be very careful.

In my experience, dealing with car salesmen is like trying to make friends with your prison bunk mate who you just met and you play nice with at first but aren't sure whether or not they're going to shank you in your sleep. This was my experience for most dealers as one by one they refused to provide quotes, ghosted me or outright insulted me for daring to take their sh*tty quote and share it with another dealer to see if they were willing to beat said sh*tty quote. But Katharine at Faulkner was like a breath of fresh air compared to the two faced monsters at most of the other dealers. She was kind, genuine, responsive and great to work with through a process that I hated from the moment I reached out to my first dealership. I wish the car buying experience could be what Katharine provided for everyone interested in purchasing a vehicle. I highly recommend Katharine for your saleswoman and encourage anyone who is interested in buying a vehicle to ask for her by name if you want a car buying experience that all dealerships should strive for.

Anthony, the rep at the service desk, was amazing--very helpful and went above and beyond to meet my needs, from scheduling a Lyft to answering my invoice questions. I visited to get a transmission fluid flush and specifically asked for the timing cover to be inspected for an oil leak, thinking it would be efficient since the timing cover is near where one of the transmission fluids is filled. After a multi-point inspection, they reported the oil pan gasket was leaking, which is on the passenger side, opposite the timing cover located on the driver's side. After waiting five hours, I was told my car wouldn't be ready until the next day, leading me to believe they were fixing the correct leak and changing the transmission fluid. The next day, after picking up my car, I noticed acceleration issues on the drive home. When I checked under the hood, I found oil splattered across the engine bay and the dipstick not inserted properly, causing the mess. While mistakes happen, leaving my car overnight should have been enough time to ensure everything was fixed. Thankfully, I caught it before worse damage occurred. Wanting to double-check, I put the car on a lift and inspected underneath, only to find oil still leaking at a noticeable rate--something that should have been impossible to miss. I took my car to a local mechanic and in 5 minutes it was diagnosed the transmission oil was overfilled and leaking from the top breather cap. I called the dealership four times within two hours of picking up my vehicle that same day, but never got an answer when forwarded to the service department and couldn't leave a voicemail for my service advisor because his mailbox was full. I eventually left a message on the general service mailbox. These calls were made between 2:30 and 3:30, well before closing at 5 p.m. I plan to contact the General Manager, corporate, and the BBB. I'll never have my car serviced at this location again--it was the worst dealership experience I've ever had. I'm taking my vehicle elsewhere to get the timing cover fixed. It's alarming to think Hyundai allows this level of service and how much damage could be done to other vehicles. I documented everything with photos: the oil dipstick not fully inserted by the tech, oil splattered across my engine bay, fresh oil residue still leaking onto the transmission case from the timing cover, and a poorly done gasket on the oil pan. I also have a screenshot of my unanswered calls forwarded to the service department. All of this was recorded within two hours of picking up my car.
