Apparently- in the past, it's only been on Saturday's, but given this year's unique circumstances, they are offering it 7 days a week. We went on a Thursday morning and paid only $75 per person for 18 holes with a cart!! Kebo is a very nice course - 8th oldest in the nation and number 4 (?) on time gold courses in Maine according to Gold Digest. I am not a "good" golfer by any means, but I had a great time here and even got par on one hole! The carts are equipped with GPS to let you know where you are in relation to the hole. There was a beverage cart that came around selling snacks and drinks (alcoholic and non). Warning - the 17th hole is a site to behold! Intimidating to say the least. Legend has it President Taft got a 22 on this hole. I escaped with a 13. So - I felt pretty good! Lol!

The course was cute and had all the fun stuff we expected to find from the pirates cove franchise. We went on a Friday morning about 30 minutes after they opened. A few groups were already playing. We moved a long at a good pace. Be aware that there are steps to climb up and down. I get around by cane and I didn't expect all the climbing.

When you are looking for a fun family activity - on an off day from all the nature adventures in the area - this is a great choice! The course is built into a hill next to two different food options (bbq and seafood). As you work your way through the 18 hole course, you gradually travel up and then back down the hill. Each hole is very well designed - and tougher than some other courses I've played. Holes are more authentic to a true golf course - with pins in the holes, "tee boxes" at each start, and even sand traps and roughs! By this, I mean texturally and colored different turfs from standard mini golf. It can stop your ball dead in its tracks! The course has a coastal Maine theme throughout-with a lighthouse, boat, sea life, etc. adding whimsy to the experience. I'll definitely be adding this to my activities list on my annual trip to the area.

Club house has changing room and bathrooms but no food. There is a soda/water vending machine. Pay by the honor system if no one is around. Wednesday nights around 5 (4 when the light gets shorter) is an open scramble. One fee ($25, I think) for all day. One steep hill on a par 4. Holes 4 and 5, both par 5s, crisscross to add to the excitement. Course is usually lightly played, good place to take a beginner. No carts so you'll have to carry or bring a pull cart (I think they have pull carts available).

From my first time here five years ago to 2 weeks ago when I was last here, it has not changed. I came here with my family and dog, and like many places in the area, it is dog friendly when sitting outdoors. Shortly after taking our orders, the appetizers came out quick. The clam chowder, lobster stew and calamari all great choices. I also liked how there was a big portion for appetizers. For the entree, I had the lobster carbonara and the portion was so big I only ate half of it. My son had the Lobster Newberg and he said it was excellent. Overall, the Chart Room is an excellent choice for dinner. The views, food, and service are all worth it. Only comment I had is parking is limited. Besides that, this is a great choice to get food at after hiking at Arcadia. If I come back to Maine, I will absolutely come back here!

I ordered a chicken that came with rice and vegetables. But you can change your side to baked potatoe or French fries. I ordered baked potatoe and it comes with butter and sour cream on the side. My daughter ordered the lobster Mac and cheese. I had two chickens that were on the small side but good. Then we ended with an ice cream that the waitress put a candle on. It was cold at this point so we went inside so the candle wouldn't blow before singing Happy Birthday. Then we brought it outside to finish. This place has a small parking lot and it is always crowded. I see they rent cabins on their property as well. It was a good evening and I would come back.
