We went and watched The Odyssey here last night. The screen and audio were great as well as the lounger chairs. We had plenty of space. The theatre was also very clean. I only purchased a medium soda ($7.50 ) but the theatre offers an array of candy and snacks as well as small Pizza Hut pizzas that looked hot and fresh. The main thing about this theatre is it's a bit outdated in some aspects especially the bathrooms. They look like they're straight out of the Saw movies. We love having the theatre so close to us though and it's been a great spot for my family to watch movies. read more

I went on Christmas Day and wasn't surprised the parking lot was packed. Thank goodness I bought tickets in advance. We sat in the XD seats for Anaconda. It was a fun experience; lots of movement throughout the movie; especially when the snake popped out. The reason for the 3 star review is because there was not a separate line for just alcohol beverages. I've been to several other Cinemark locations and they all had the bar service separate from the concessions. They missed a sale because that line was too long. Walked in and was greeted by the staff. We had bought tickets online so it was scanned and we went in. Stopped at the concession and was able to grab some snacks for the movie. Call me a snob but I prefer the theaters that allow you to fill your own drink as usually they put too much ice even after telling them easy ice. My biggest qualm was trying to locate our seats. We had dbox seating and the numbers were hard to see. Someone actually had to say the numbers are in the corner, to which I then passed that information on to others as they struggled to locate seat numbers as well. Forgive me as I expected more from the dbox (instructions were needed for the lady next to me) seats but then again it could have just been the movie. I bought my ticket to the backrooms movie, which i checked before going, i am 17 years old and a school id is ELIGIBLE. I get there and the ticket guy won't let me inside after showing my id. What do they expect a 17 year old to do? bring my birth certificate? So i had to refund and walk around the mall for 3 hours. WORST. PLACE. EVER. I still like this theater. I don't go to the movies to eat dinner and be waited on, I go to much popcorn and have a cinematic experience. This cinemark delivers. It is clean, they have every movie out, and the seats are comfortable. Gone are the $5 matinees, a 3 pm showing cost me $6.77. like everything else, the concessions have gotten a bit ridiculous. A small bottle of water and a small popcorn were $12. 82. Geez Louise. I know theaters make their money on the concessions, but I would think people would buy more concessions if they weren't so outrageously priced. All that being said it is still a good way to spend an hot afternoon with your bestie, watching Pedro Pascal. read more

I love that cinemark does animated movies in the summer for $1.75. I came here recently to see the Garfield movie and noticed the improvements to the movie theater. The staff were friendly and available if you had any questions. The recliner seats were comfortable as I remember. The movie was funny, cute and I appreciated the ending. I like this theater a lot - it's clean and the seating is comfortable. There are reclining seats, and there are barriers between the rows that allow for privacy and reduce the noise levels. If you tend to be cold natured, it's a good idea to bring a lightweight sweater, jacket, or throw avoid getting too chilly. To be honest, I'd much rather be too cold than sweltering hot! I can't speak to the food or concessions, but I feel certain that they're likely in line with the prices and quality of other theaters. What I *can* speak to is the ease of ordering tickets and choosing seats online: Super duper easy! Checking in is easy, as well - just make sure to keep track of the email or text with your ticket codes. The only thing I have any qualm with is not really the fault of Cinemark, and that's the parking situation at the mall - and that's simply the nature of shopping malls. Overall, I'm happy with the seating, the size of the theaters, the ticket purchasing process, and the cleanliness of the restrooms, so I recommend the Northeast Mall 18 as a good place to watch movies on the big screen. read more

Decent theater with large XD screens. This theater should've been a 4-star, but the concession lines were horrendous and unmarked. I stood in a line with others only to find out the employee was only doing popcorn refills in that lane. Seriously? So we had to go back into another super long line. Seats are comfy and reclining. It's a shame I can't go even lower in rating. The bald manager and ticket attendee in wheels must be in the wrong career path, given how they run the theater like it's the israeli military. I accompanied my niece and her friends, whom are all juniors in HS btw to the movies as their trusted adult. I would love to say im as young as 21...but im not. Despite me being well over age and having well mannered 16yr olds, they would not let us in, simply bc I didn't qualify as everyone's legal guardian and/or they werent 17. For reference, it was only 4 teens that I was there to "adult" over. I also happened to be the only adult with availability at that specific time for the teens, bc again, we are actual adults that work and we were trying to coordinate. The manager can also clearly see I had just gotten off work to accompany these teens and still says no. Then not only that, he has the nerve to say "ohhh well I WOULD... BUT its more than a couple teens"... A joke is what he is, a real hero alright! Clearly If it was within your power, then you should've just allowed for it. Nooo, he seemed dead set on having his little power trip. My niece and her friends remained respectful all throughout the interaction and ended up standing off to the side in discussion when they got turned away. I still fail to see how letting us in, would've caused a catastrophic event. The world wasnt going to end bc you let teens watch a movie with their trusted adult in the theaters bc their legal guardian wasnt available. And again, these teens are on the verge of turning 17, the age in which they qualify to watch movies alone. This tidbit only further adds disrespect. Nobody is or was going to get a raise or promotion simply bc 4 teens with their adult got turned away. You would think we were watching "the human centipede" for crying out loud with the way they were acting. For reference, the movie was "backrooms". So yes, I will never be coming back to this theater again. And I urge you all to do the same. I already had mixed feelings about this theater from a previous unrelated bad experience. So, if youre looking for a movie spot, save yourselves the trouble and avoid this SPECIFIC CINEMARK! Any other theater is better! Came here for the very first time to watch the 30th anniversary of The Crow showing. The location is very easy to find. Parking is pretty good if you arrive early enough. There are restaurants nearby so sometimes parking can be tricky. Ordering our movie tickets online made the process quick and easy. The assortment of the snack bar is pretty good. We ordered popcorn and beverages and they were good. Our theater and seats were easy to locate. The theater itself was pretty clean and the room temperature was perfect. The chairs are very comfortable. Overall we had a good experience here and would certainly come back to this location to watch another movie. read more

Very nice movie theater complex with a wide selection of movies and 18 screens. Conveniently located at North East Mall with dining options like Ghengis Grill close by. We purchased our tickets online. I'm personally not a fan of the extra fees charged. These are waived if you pay the monthly fee for the Cinemark Movie Club. I generally prefer to stream my movies in the comfort of my home do their club membership is a waste for me. The theater had comfortable reclining seats and I had a great view of the screen. The cleaning was not up to par and the trash can was overflowing onto the floor. read more

OPENING DAY FOR ADDAMS 2!! My family decided to catch it this afternoon since the mall was close to where we would be. I bought our tickets through the Atom ap, made everything so easy! And once you get to the theater, the ticket person just scans the QR code. No need to print off the ticket if you use the Atom ap (I know some require you to visit the kiosk to print tickets off, but Atom didn't. Good way to save paper.) We ordered a Pizza Hut personal pan, which was about $11; however, it was hot and tasted delicious! And there were special Addams 2 kids cups that came with the snack pack deal, $6. There's no refills allowed, supposedly the price for drinks has been reduced to reflect this though. The luxury loungers we're comfortable and in great shape. They were not torn and the button to raise the leg rests worked! In case anyone was concerned about quality of seating. My family and I had a great visit today :) read more

My wife and I now have a new favorite movie venue. WE love the NE Mall Cinemark especially the XD experience. We've been there twice now and have even joined Cinemark's Movie Club to get free tickets and receive discounts at the concession stand. Recently we experienced "Jurassic World" in the XD theater. Wow what an experience. While I LOVED it, my wife liked it due to the sound system being very loud. The immersive aspect of the "XD Experience" is phenomenal. The theaters are clean and the staff very friendly and responsive. It is sure wonderful getting back to the in-person movie experience. read more

The customer service is great. I liked the guy who checked out tickets when we first arrived. I also really like how imitate the movie is. I prefer something smaller and cozy when it comes to movie and it definitely is. When you go recline your movie seat use the button closest to the inside to extend the recliner. Felt opposite of other theaters. I was so scared when the seat didn't move at first lol. I'm giving it 4 stars for overall cleanliness but a 3 because the seats are uncomfortable! read more

The seats are comfortable, the other theatergoers are friendly, the theater rooms aren't crowded (except for blockbusters), and the volume won't harm your ears (unlike at AMC). The bathrooms are always clean on the weekends. The only gripe is that the escalator is permanently broken although I'm OK with a little exercise. There is also an elevator. read more

When I have to see it on the silver screen (ref: any Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Fast & Furious, etc.) this Cinemark theater is always my first choice. REASON #1: Killer projectors and sound I'm a moviephile. I can't help myself. I've been nicknamed "Mr. Imdb". So, the film experience is super important to me. I'm the guy who chases down a manager during the previews if the image isn't in perfect focus, or the sound is off in some way, or the house lights are left on. Bright colors, hi-res imagery, balanced multi-point audio, it has to be right. Cinemark gets high marks from me in all these categories *most* of the time. Their XD theater is truly immersive. REASON #2: Reserved, reclined seating and ease of buying tickets I use Flixster to browse upcoming and currently playing films because of it's integration with both RottenTomatoes and Fandango. Having the trusted RT rating available when making movie choices is essential. From there, it's a tap or two to Fandango's ticket purchase portal, where I have this theater on favorite, pick showtimes, seats, and boomdone. I don't even mind the convenience fee. REASON #3: The best matinee prices anywhere! Before 6:00 pm, matinee pricing is $5.14 per ticket. FIVE BUCKS. Unless we need to see a movie opening night, we go on Saturday of opening weekend and see the new flick for FIVE BUCKS. I know you MoviePass peeps are thinking "Two movies a month and I'm ahead of you", which is true. But, I don't go to the theater more than once per month avg. So, if you're like me and don't see yourself taking the MoviePass leap, FIVE BUCKS, dude. It's unbeatable. My only negatives here are 1) the entrance is curiously far from the street, making bad weather movie attendance a pain, and 2) one time there was a serious audio problem in theater 7 (voices from the center channel hard-panned to the left, music panned to the right) which had apparently been present in the theater for some time. I talked with a manager about it, who was helpful and apologetic. But, the issue wasn't corrected. Highly recommended! read more

It's a movie experience and certain things are beyond their control. What is in their control is the seating area. The seats are outdated, sitting on a wood bench with leather over the top. I like to go early Saturday and Sunday mornings and then I can sit wherever I want and raise a ruckus too, if I'm in the mood for all that. In a world where all I hear about theaters is that they're struggling, you'd think they'd make even the slightest effort to clean bathrooms, seats and floors. Empty the trash cans, clean the concession areas. Just gross, I feel like I just spent 2.5 hours sitting in a port-a-potty. That's harsh, most port-a-potties are actually considerably nicer. The popcorn kernels were all tiny and relatively stale. The butter on the popcorn is room temp and comes from a very off putting one gallon industrial plastic drum of which they have 4 lined up next to the broken down butter dispenser. The candy and snacks that this theater has literally nothing to do with we're just as expected, good job to the vendors who distribute to these undeserving crooks. Napkins, salt and ketchup packets splayed all over the concession stands. Every surface you touch, the counter, all handles, the escalator, concession area, your seat, are all sticky, and in a way where you know they haven't thoroughly cleaned since before Covid. The family bathroom was a welcome sight with my 2 year old daughter. Then we walked in. The stale, humid very strong stench of urine and human feces hit you in the face like the steam coming from a dish washer opened mid cycle. The regular public bathrooms were exponentially worse. We had to remove the trash from previous patrons once we got to our seat. It's like the staff can't be asked to work without them quitting from ptsd of facing the overwhelming mess this place has become. And of course like most reviews, the design of the wall in front of your seats is a real oversight, the architect should never practice in theaters again. If I hear this places goes out of business, I won't even be surprised in the slightest. Cannot get to my sanitizer fast enough. I suggest you wear a hazmat suit if attending this place. read more

We really enjoy coming to this movie theater as they have increased their ventilation through the pandemic and have great online tools to reserve your seats. When you walk in, you don't have to print your tickets. You just need to show your confirmation to check in. If you go to an early matinee, pricing is reasonable. The XD theater has great visual and sound so if it's a movie that you really want to see in person, it's a great place for it to see it. Staff is still wearing masks but not required for patrons. Oh my god. The bathrooms. If the bathrooms are this bad, how much effort does staff put in to cleaning the seats and theaters? From the moment I sat down in my seat I noticed that everything was sticky and the armrests and seats hadn't been cleaned in a while. I watched a long movie there the other night and immediately threw my clothes in the washer and took a shower when I got home. The bathrooms are the stuff of nightmares. Why do they not clean these periodically throughout the day?! You can't convince me that they are. They are not. It's a movie theater, people will be in and out of the restrooms and you need staff to clean them up multiple times a day to keep up. I walked into the restroom and encountered horrors no person should ever have to experience. The damage done to those bathrooms would require a serious effort by at least two villages. I checked the family restroom to see if it was any better and the trash was overflowing with dirty diapers. Bathrooms had ZERO ventilation. You walk in and it's thick, stale, filthy air that you can almost chew. What the heck, Cinemark? Get it together. On a lighter note, movie prices were standard, snack prices were ridiculous but that's normal, and the staff at the box office were really friendly. read more

Omg Stephen the manager here saved our night. My app kept messing up when I attempted to buy tickets. We got stuck in traffic and arrived late. We tried but didn't make the actual start of the movie. Haven't come here in a few years, it was a nice surprise to see the whole remodeling and upgrade to this theater after it was taken over by Cinemark. They took out so many rows in every auditorium, put in recliner chairs and make it very spacious between each row. They don't have the dining in service, yet, hopefully it's just the matter of time. With all the discounts that you can get from here: students, military, senior, Tuesday ($5.5 any show, all day), it's hard to beat. read more

Theater is good but the popcorn- ugh! The popcorn itself was decent but I opted for "butter" on it which made the whole thing taste like coconut. It's not butter but clearly just coconut oil. I was so hungry I ate it anyway but it made me nauseous later and now I'm up at 3am with a stomach ache and burping up coconut. If you have an allergy or don't like coconut, beware! What's the secret behind Cinemark XD? Maybe it's the glass barrier covering the lower part of the XD screen at this Cinemark. I mean, if you're, say, 5'10" or taller and you sit up really straight and don't recline, you may be able to keep the little glass shield atop the wall in front of your row out of the movie frame. Otherwise you'll be watching the lower part of the screen through murky glass. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING, CINEMARK? PROVIDING AN UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW OF THE MOVIE SCREEN IS YOUR FIRST FUCKING JOB! In other news, I once ordered a $4 cup of coffee and got a half-cup of coffee. Then he lied and said that was the standard amount the machine dispensed. Odd, because I had always received a full cup on previous visits. On a recent visit they told me the coffeemaker was broken LOL. I want to end in a positive note here. I have not encountered the obnoxious glass barrier in any of the non-XD theatres. Also, the projection is always excellent here (though the volume is usually borderline low), and I do appreciate the matinee pricing. read more
