Requested a quote for some driveway work on 8/3/20. Call them again on 8/20/20 no answer and no response after leaving a voicemail at 11am. Call again 8/21/20 and they said they are booked up and no longer doing quotes. Would have been helpful to let me know instead of waiting around 18 days and making me call you! Needed my driveway sealed so I started looking at reviews on yelp. Decided I would choose this company even though they weren't the cheapest. You might find a lower price some where else but that doesn't mean you will get the same quality of work. A lot of guys are sealing driveways with a lot of water mixed in with their sealers. They used a lot more sealer then some other company's do and were very nice. I am happy I chose this company and now they have a customer for life. Overall not pleased with the experience. First, do not expect to ever reach a human when you call, you have to leave a message. Second, on scheduled day the crew (a sub-contractor) never arrived until 7:30pm and did not bothered to call to say they were running late. They were literally there 20 minutes and the driveway looks OK. If that was the only issues I would be writing a much better review. But here is the big problem. When I checked my credit card a few days later I had been charged 40% more than I was quoted. This is no small amount either because they charge twice the going rate of other companies but I though it could be worth it based on other reviews. Come to find out that it was for crack filling which I never authorized. In fact I had done my own crack filling previously and one of the guys commented on it to my wife. In July of this year 2019 I made an appointment for sealing my driveway. I was quoted a reasonable price.It is now Sept 16 with no sealed driveway! I was told they only schedule work done when enough people in a certain area request it. It looks like Irondequoit does not have enough customers to bother with! It was about time to seal my driveway again, so I contacted Northeastern Sealcoat through their web form to get an estimate. I don't recall how long it took to get a response, but it was very quick. The quoted price was a great deal. They called and emailed the day before they were to seal it. We had to reschedule due to inclement weather, but it was no hassle at all. I wasn't home to see the work done. The edges are clean and the coat is even. The driveway looks great. After it dried, I noticed some sealer on my house's new siding...and my house's new trim...and on the garage door. The sealer on the door came off, but the trim and siding are still marked up. The trim is even dented where the sealer marks are. I was hoping to avoid messing up my new siding and trim by hiring someone, but I'm not so sure it was worth it. They claimed they didn't see the damage after I had called and informed them about it. After sending pictures, contact from them ended. They refuse to take responsibility for their damage, so this will likely end up in small claims court. Definitely not the deal I thought I was getting. read more

Service was scheduled within a week and the job was done very well. I especially liked that they used brushes to apply the sealer. The sealer seems to be of high quality as well.
