    a dock full of boats

What a fun place to eat! You can watch the activity of the lake while enjoying a good sandwich. Very casual - people dock their boats to come and eat. The menu is bar food, sandwiches etc. but was tasty. Service was great. The tricky part is finding it. Park at the marina and walk down a few stairs to find it sitting at the end of a dock. We will certainly stop again.

Much nicer than the old skeeters. Love the upgrades and the restrooms are nice and clean compared to the old. The docks are now extended so your 21 ft boat fits nicely without half of it hanging out unsecured. Now lets get to the food! Smoked deviled eggs were amazing! Fried pickles were perfect, not to greasy and a good hunk of pickle chip. We had burgers and wraps for entrees and both were really delicious. Prices were very reasonable for lake fare. Only issue was wait staff was a little slow but on the lake I was in no hurry. Definitely will be a permanent stop when I'm on Lake Shelbyville .

This was our first visit to Richard's Farm Restaurant. But for us it will be a one and done. The…read morerestaurant smelt musty and old because it is filled with antiques. And the old carpet just holds that smell. The restaurant was on the expensive side. The lunch specials started at $14.50. The cheapest sandwich was $15.99 and comes with one side. They offered a salad bar for $16.99 The hot bar was $18.79. Kids meals were all $9.99. I went with the hot bar because it had fried chicken on it. There were 4 different soups to choose from and all of the normal salad bar items. The pickled beets were really good. The skin of the fried chicken was soft from being in the steam table. Nothing crunchy left. Our waitress was very friendly and checked on a few times. Lunch for 3 adults and a kid was $70 plus tip.

Flaky with buttery caper sauce was rich and creamy over a bed of rice. My side was the salad bar which can hold its own as a meal all by itself. My husband ordered their famous 1lb pork chop. The mash was creamy and the Caesar salad side were good. Credit where credit is due.... The chop was cooked to temp however with the size and even with the red sauce it's basted with, my husband reported it a bit dry but he definitely enjoyed the process of eating it. The service as fine and we enjoyed the experience. We will definitely return next time we travel that way and try more on the menu
