As I walked into store, two salespeople were waiting, asked me if I needed help. And they did help. Showed me multiple sale items as well as non sale items. Prices are very competitive. Quality overall is excellent. Two items I purchased were on sale, with last item in stock the ones I bought, even though they weren't being discontinued. Cool store. Plenty of parking. Went in for some lifting / moving straps. They didn't have quite what we wanted, but friendly, helpful staff showed us all their options. Lots of good industrial equipment, work clothes, gadgets (kindling splitter! See pic). Bright, well signed store. read more

I bought four 1T ROUND CHAIN ELECTRIC HOISTs from Northern Tool. Two of them failed. At 100+ pounds, Customer Service and the Lead Customer service reps are telling me that they won't pick up the second broken one because it is out of the warranty period. How am I, 5'1 tall woman supposed to load this huge heavy machine (100 LBS) into my car to drive it 80 miles to them from Sturgeon Bay to Appleton? read more

Had a tool box that needed to be exchanged out, and I was in Minocqua for the weekend, and they were able to help me over the phone to get me the new tool box and the wrong one returned. They made it easy for my mom who was picking it up the next day very easy for her to do the swap. Thank you for such great service. read more

They have all mkinds of great stuff advertised in thier catalog and carry so little in the store. it always seems that everything is in some warehouse in south Carolina. I need a tool today and they tell me it will be a week or more to get it from SC or MN. This company really needs to get their act together and either stock more commonly used items or at least build a few more warehouses and revamp the delivery system. You can't make a living waiting a week or more for tools. read more
