First time coming to this Northgate it's still pretty new just opened a few months ago and by far this is one of the most organized cleanest and fully stock markets. I've been to in a while. They're pretty much have it all here. and if you're not looking for groceries to cook at home, you can pick up cooked food here they have lots of options to choose from from warm food, even too cold food they have plenty of Mariscos and seafood you can choose from . they also have a pretty big Bakery that you could choose from. Also, all in all it's a pretty well stock market. Hopefully, they keep it that way. I'll definitely come back. Best of all they have plenty of cashiers open they even bag your produce for you so that's a plus. . read more

I'm very disappointed with the customer service I received at Northgate. As a paying customer spending over $100 on groceries, I expected to be treated with basic respect and kindness. Unfortunately, Alexis, Josue, and another female manager with red hair made me feel completely unwelcome due to their attitudes and lack of professionalism. What upset me the most was asking for help getting an Uber home and being ignored multiple times. It wasn't until I finally spoke up about being ignored that they got Chris to assist me. Thankfully, Chris was the only employee who showed kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help, and I truly appreciate him for that. No customer should feel dismissed or uncomfortable while shopping, especially after spending their hard-earned money there. I hope management takes customer service more seriously moving forward. read more

This grocery store is pricier than the surrounding markets. The employees are always so grumpy besides the sweet young woman directing cashier traffic the rest of them always seem annoyed. The bolillos are always so soft. The hot food is good for a quick pick me up. read more

I went to buy a cake. The bakery lady was kind of bossy. I asked to add "happy birthday Carlitos" and she said: "we don't do that anymore! I can only add a small happy birthday plaque". Next time, I sent my husband to get a cake and he came back even with a spatula to cut the cake!! Women treat the opposite gender better ! This Northgate opened last week on a Wednesday. I have been waiting for this location to open. Every time I passed through they were closed. This morning I noticed banners flying back and forth were open and the cars parked. So I quickly through a you turn parked and went in. The hours are 7 am to 10 pm plenty parking no need to worry about that. I was looking for produce and low and behold I walked out of there with dinner in tow. A whole chicken, beans, rice, salsa, corn tortillas for $25.00 dollars They have many different stations in Northgate tortillas, guacamole, agua frecas, tamales, fresh cooked food station , carniceria, mariscos, breads. Everyone greeted me as I walked in asked if I needed any help. The service here is impeccable. The lady helping me spoke little English as I only spoke little Spanish her and I made it work and laughed at one another. This location is a huge store itself I love that everything is under one roof. Even if you weren't looking for tamales or pan it is available and you just might pick up extra as I did. The food I purchased for dinner was so delicious the chicken was juicey, the rice and beans were perfect. The chili I chose to get had a bit of spicy but not to bad. The tortillas were fresh and warm. The bread is purchased had cream cheese and Jalapeños. The bread tasted good days later after putting it in the oven. Everything was good while I was shopping until I went to go pay. The cashier was named Dayonara,I didn't get her last name. She didn't greet me and was talking with other employees. I tried to let her know I had my own bags but she was not paying attention. When I finally got her attention she gave me almost like a disgusted face and rolled her eyes at me. I've never had a problem shopping here until this uncomfortable interaction. read more

On May 25th, I visited your store around 3:00 PM. While browsing, I noticed the security guard following me. When I asked him why, he gave a dismissive response, stating it was his job. I found his tone rude and racist. I requested to speak with his manager, but he remained silent and continued to follow me. Unfortunately, the manager was unhelpful and failed to provide a satisfactory explanation. This experience was particularly disappointing, as I have visited multiple Norgate stores without encountering similar issues. As I left, I tried to obtain the security guard's name to file a formal complaint, but he refused, citing that it was against his job's policies. It's amazing!!! This place is like the love child of Whole Foods and Grand Central Market ... smooth, organized, operational, and clean. I just wish they carried a bit more organic options, because everything else was spot-on. The chicken tamales? A solid ten. The guacamole? Amazing. And the tortillas ... are you kidding me? They were unreal. The whole place was buzzing with happy people, the energy was contagious. Loved this vibrant store tucked right in the cute city of Lynwood.
