Ladies are rude and prices are inflated given the quality of food. Would not come again

The bread taste like sand. I'm not sure if it's not put away properly but it was so hard.

I loved their bolillo & pan dulce (sweet bread). The bolillo the next day is still soft, it doesn't get hard like in other bakery's I tried.

Bread is bland. I prefer Kathy's bakery. The woman who works in the evening is so rude.

They offer complimentary coffee with a purchase - if I heard right. I didn't take it because I had to stay awake. They have a large parking lot, right next to the 91 freeway.

The brown butter chocolate chip cookie was a standout--really delicious and worth going back for. On the other hand, the churro-flavored cookie and the chocolate chip walnut cookie didn't do it for me. They were a bit lacking in flavor, and I personally prefer my cookies to have that crispy-on-the-outside, chewy-on-the-inside texture. These were softer than I like, but that could just come down to preference. One thing I did really like is that they give full cookie samples, not just tiny bites--that's a nice touch and shows confidence in their product. Service was very good, friendly, and welcoming. Overall, I'd come back to try more of their cakes and definitely get the brown butter chocolate chip cookie again.

Tommy and Atticus is a bakery in Redondo Beach that serves fresh-baked breads, bagels, and…read morepastries. I think these breads and pastries are nice, but what brings the fifth star is when they use their breads for sandwiches. My wife ordered a blanco toast, which had ricotta, avocado, and a bunch more flavor bombs over freshly baked sourdough toast. I highly recommend their 'works" bagel sandwich. I had it on a sesame seed bagel with a very tasty scallion cream cheese. What made it amazing was their use of perfectly ripened, sweet heirloom tomato, thinly sliced red onions, briny capers, delicious olive oil, and fresh dill, that gave perfect balance and perfect seasoning. We sat at a communal bench/table to enjoy our breakfast items (which they stop serving after 10:30); however, we noticed that others were eating some delicious-looking sandwiches served on their fresh baguettes. I know that I have to come back for those!

The bread and pastries were baked and executed well and have subdued, layers of flavor, and crunch. We liked the spinach pastry as well as the creme brulee kouign amann! Location has been upgraded, variety increased, service just as personal as before. I asked what's new as I know they adapt to each season & customers' suggestions. I had rosca de reyes in January, heart-shaped pan dulce in February, & always want to be surprised with what's next. Today I almost got two of everything to bring home & share at work tomorrow. I'll be back soon.

I'm extremely happy they have found a brick and mortar spot, because the at home bakery was getting a little wild. If you're curious about this mom and pop bakery, they create delicious traditional pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread), all artisanal, meaning it's all made by hand and with quality ingredients. They've been mentioned and written about on Telemundo, LA eater, La Opinion, even food influencers have been in. Yes, their bread is that good. You might say they don't have a various amount of selection, okay fine, I get your point, BUT you need to take into account that this bread is HAND MADE! and yes, EVERYDAY. This isn't your typical standardized pan dulce either, it's curated from a small pueblo in Copala Mexico, that the owner has spent all her life crafting to get the flavors right. Some breads have unique names such as gusanitos, niños, and borrachos-- but don't let the wacky names fool you, they are absolutely packing in flavor. They also have delicious fried arroz con leche and delicious oven baked camote morado empanadas, and they sell out FAST! If you are in the mood to try some traditional sweet bread from Copala, please come check out this mom and pop panaderia out! The staff is friendly and so welcoming. It's what the culture's feeling. Please support small businesses:) P.S -- they also ship all over the United States. Call or send them a message for the details.
