This place is located off of Lavista Road in between a gas station and (what use to be) Schlotzsky's Deli. It runs parallel on the opposite side of IHOP and Checker's. This dry clean has decent pricing and the guy that runs the front (probably the owner) is very friendly. I definitely concur with fellow yelper, David F. I dropped off 2 jackets to be dry cleaned and picked it up. They were neatly hung and wrapped. I noticed a piece of pink paper inside over both jackets and read it. The owner(s) also support breast cancer awareness with proceeds going towards the foundation. I'm satisfied so you should give this place a try! This cleaner ripped me off each time I went there until I realize it. Because if you're charging those prices for this many pieces then why am I paying an extra $30 each time? I liked this place UNTIL they shrunk my favorite shirt, damaged the fabric with chemicals and refused to pay for it, saying I should take it back to the manufacturer because the tag's cleaning instructions were wrong...wait, wha??? 2 of my clothing items, a pair of slacks & a golf shirt, that have been laundered at this location several times before, went missing. When I inquired about the items, I was told they did not have any items under my name presently at the time. I initially accepted that, thinking that perhaps I overlooked the items in my closet, where I always separate pants and shirts in their respective locations. I thoroughly searched again and came to the same conclusion as I had initially, that the items were indeed at the cleaners, where I specifically remember dropping them off. I also thought that perhaps the employee might have spelled my last name incorrectly, since it potentially can be spelled with a C or a K. I returned the next morning and again discussed the matter with the owner. He insisted they have no items for me because the "computer says so". I reminded him that we are only as good as the information we put in those computers and that perhaps the fact that my previous tickets were marked complete was an error to which he insisted that was not the case. Further, he went on to tell me that many times people can't find their things and to go check my house and that I must have misplaced them to which I responded that I had already done so and that I specifically knew the items were at his store. I remember bringing the shirt and the pants because the shirt had ring around the collar from playing golf and the pants had an ink stain on the back pocket from work pens, so I know I'm not crazy or forgetful. My take on the matter is that when I went to pick up a previous set of clothes, the wrong ticket was checked off as complete and so while they thought they had given me back my items already, they actually checked off the wrong ticket as complete. The owner insisted no error was made and it is my problem and that I must have misplaced them. Trust me, that isn't the case. I am meticulous about certain things and clothing/dry cleaning is one of those things. So, where do I go from here? Owner thinks it's my problem and they have made no error. I want my clothes that I know are now in the "laundry abyss". I don't want to cause problems for anyone, but just be professional and do a thorough search of all the records and then allow me to look through all of the clothes staged for pick-up to locate my items. I'm certain they are there and I could spot them within minutes if I could be allowed to go back there and look. I'm sure they have an "unclaimed garments" section for lost items that never were claimed for multiple reasons, hopefully none similar to mine. It's so frustrating. Do you file a police report or a complaint with BBB or take them to small claims court for the value of the clothing? Either way, as far as this being a customer review, put yourself in my spot: think about that favorite shirt or dress that you love to wear or you look great in. Now picture it at your dry cleaners and you know it's there, but the owner says it isn't, not in a malicious way but simply because they made an error of checking it off as picked up and believe the computer and themselves to be infallible. Now place yourself in my shoes and wanting your garments back, but you can't have them because "the omniscient computer" says it was already picked up by you when you absolutely, emphatically 100% know that it was not. Now, how are you going to get your items back? Someone help me figure this conundrum out so that I can get my clothes back from the Island of Misfit Garments. Stay away from this cleaner, at least with valuable garments unless you are fine with potentially parting with them when the owner insists they aren't there. I think you get it. Use another cleaner who truly cares for his customers, not just the clothing they bring which sustains his business. Thanks. read more

Basically a good dry cleaners. Not too up on what I "should" be paying for dry cleaning. But the owner is a nice enough man and they do a good job on my clothes. And they have a dry through window for pick up or drop off. What else do you really want from a dry cleaners? I'll keep coming back. read more

I've known Sam and his wife Teresa who work each day making sure that their customers clothes are cleaned properly, timely and returned to us in "green" reusable carriers--no plastic bags. I agree with others that this place is a bit pricey but I was willing to pay their price for the quick turn around and convenience as they are near my home. All has gone well until today. Three days ago I took in several pair of slacks and shirts for both myself and my wife in to be cleaned and starched. Today when we picked them up one pair of slacks was not cleaned because they found stains on them. When I delivered the clothes the owner and I stood at his counter and sorted through all them because I like heavy starch and my wife likes light starch. He and I both had an opportunity to see any stains which were on the front and down the sides of one leg. He said he did not clean them because he found the stain when he was tagging them. I ask why he didn't call me then for me to come and see. I would have just left his shop and could have gone back. He says this is not his policy, maybe it should be. On further examination after we got the pants home, it appears to be acid or perhaps some kind of bleach as it has eaten a hole in the pants at the most concentrated area of the stain. He refuses to take any responsibility for the problem. All he wants to say is "We have to trust each other" which I have done for several cleanings but he doesn't want to trust me when I say the pants came in without this stain. Just beware. read more
