One we have had one since last November that just went for her first time about a 2 weeks ago, then came home, saved another and decided he was breaking out of his shell and after just the first experience, we figured "let's see what Jess can do!!" Sure enough, the dogs once again loved every bit of it, the contact each time was on point, her attitude and hospitality while also giving you a hint of how she runs her business. Thats how it's done!! But also, the flexibility was perfect, easy to get ahold of and definitely knows what she's doing. Even on our trip we got to share with everyone all the pictures AND videos she was gladly enough to offer!! Our little girls kept saying right off the bat how much they missed there puppy the first time, but shortly after the pics and videos started coming in and had the whole rental car holding back tears of joy and definitely some laughter. Blows your mind sometimes that just from just a random call from word of mouth, BAM! Just like that, it might not be often, but the "shy, timid" doggos that once were, now have a second home whenever they visit just like that. And she sure is a whisperer, because that shell they were trying to break of is gone!! We're not quick to judge good or bad, but remember it's all in the real time confrontation. She nailed it! Half of his removed teeth were below the guml line caused by sloppy Dental work. Mike make house call to check on my little guy after he was released a day after surgery. The fact I live 25 mikes away impressed me. With his visit. He went out to store a purchased some deli turkey to get the little guy to start eating. He had been just lying resting as he was very tired. I now have a perky 13 1/2 yr doggie who runs and barks. He tries to eat big food, but I have to feed him little bits and blends of soft diet food. I recently rescued a dog who has been severely abused and neglected. He is afraid of everything, and I was incredibly nervous about his first grooming experience. But Rascal's blew me away with their compassion and professionalism. The staff took their time with him, showing incredible patience and care. They even tag-teamed the process: one team member held him, comforted him, and spoke kindly while the other carefully trimmed his nails. What could have been a traumatic, one-time-only ordeal turned into a surprisingly positive experience--he actually enjoyed it! I never thought I'd see my dog this calm and happy during grooming. I learned a lot and continue to recommend Diane and Jim to anybody who has a new dog in their household. Some tricks are taught as a game so you and your dog are excited to do them. I still regularly play the 'come touch' game with my bc and she thinks it's the best. I think it's great because I never have to be nervous that she wont come when called we're at the dog park or on a hike.
