They only allow children who follow the exact guidance per the CDC timeline and recommended vaccines. We are interested in vaccinating our child but at a later date which allows for lesser doses. Unfortunately we were told they couldn't accommodate that request and they do require the schedule to be followed. The reason they shared was for the sake of other children in the waiting room. We were later told that they are incentivized for having 100% of their patients vaccinated (I didn't fact check this but it would make sense why they are so strict on timeline). Again, we really liked the doctors but it's unfortunate that parents don't feel they can have a say in their child's care and timeline.

After repeated attempts to connect insurance and billing office, both the office and insurance agreed that everything was rectified. Two months later and billing office send the 8 month old bill back out like it never happened and refuses to call insurance for the bill that was already paid. Never had such a terrible experience with a doctor's office. Let alone one for children. Disturbing experience. Now we have to get attorneys involved for their harassment and threats to go to collections for a bill that has been paid.

I was told no, because the file size would be too large - i would have to print them. This is ridiculous in 2025, that first off I wouldn't be able to sign a release of records for them to obtain the records themselves. Nor can I email them or upload them to a portal. Furthermore, the woman i spoke to was unfriendly and unhelpful. After this interaction, I will NOT be taking my children to this office, im sure this is a sign that I should find somewhere else.

My wife Terri (61 years old) fell off a dresser and broke 5 bones in her hand......the hospital…read moreemergency room referred us to Dr. Cross (Brandy) for further treatment after they released her. The morning after we came home I received a call from her office wanting us to come in "immediately" (they saw the xrays that were taken at the ER) to see what could be done. They were able to get us scheduled for the next day. On our visit, her temporary cast removed, and she was immediately seen by Brandy, who spent well over 30 minutes looking at Terri's hand (a big purple "club" at the moment), talking to us, showing us the xrays, and explaining the details(in layman's terms we understood) of exactly what happened to her hand and what was going to have to be done to get to get Terri on the mend. Terri had 4 "clean" fractures on her fingers but her thumb was pretty much, to put it mildly, trashed ("A mess" in Brandy's words....lol)....totally destroyed and was going to need reconstructive surgery. She gave Terri options (yes, OPTIONS) of how things could be repaired and let her decide how she wanted to proceed.....Terri chose having everything fixed with screws / plates. Brandy scheduled Terri for surgery for 2 days after that, in fact going as far as moving a scheduled surgery she had that day up a couple hours to make room for her. On surgery day, Brandy talked to us before the surgery and made sure screws / plates were the way Terri was still comfortable with (she was ready to go with whatever Terri decided), assured both of us that everything was going to be fine, and that we were in good hands (yes, a pun). The surgery took over 5 hours to be completed, and when it was, Brandy came into the waiting room to see me and tell me how things went and what she had done...she spent 15 minutes with me which I think is so very awesome. I had a clear understanding of what she did and what Terri needed to do (and not do). She referred us to a Hand Physical Therapist very close to our home and had them call us the following day to schedule her rehab. The Therapy center didn't have an opening until about 10 days later so I made the appointment for then. The next day I received a call from the Therapist saying the Brandy called her and wanted Terri to come in a lot sooner than that, and was given an appointment for this coming Monday....I didn't call Brandy's office to suggest / ask they do that, they did it!!!! The fast that they checked on their own impressed the heck out of me. We have our followup appointment with Brandy next week and we're looking very forward to seeing the "completed" work on Terri's hand. EVERYONE in Brandy's office is great.....absolutely FABULOUS!!!! They are all very personable, friendly, professional and caring.....we feel very comfortable there. I'm going to update this post when I get everyone's names on our next visit....I'm horrible with names and don't want to forget anyone. The insurance Terri has is very sub-par (Marketplace crap) and isn't one Dr. Cross accepted. We were at a loss when we were in the waiting room about what we were going to do because of this and were on our way out of the office (with Terri in tears) when Tina came running after us and told us Brandy was going to take care of Terri and we'd figure things out later with the insurance.....who ever heard of a Doctor (ANY DOCTOR) even considering something like that?????? Brandy knew how badly Terri was hurt, knew how much she needed help ASAP and made the decision to help her regardless of the insurance. The world needs more caring people, especially Doctors, who actually care, genuinely care, about people, their needs and pains. If you ever find yourself in need of a top notch Hand Surgeon, you really need to contact Dr. Cross....travel a bit further if you need to, but DEFINITELY see her. Brandy, YOU ROCK....thank you!!!!!! The practice feels heavily politically biased, which is inappropriate for a pediatric setting…read more Families should not be exposed to political agendas through staff attire or office décor, or various stickers on laptops when seeking healthcare for their children. In addition, there is a strong, one-sided approach to vaccines that leaves little room for parental discussion or TRUE informed consent. Parents should not feel pressured or have their rights minimized when making medical decisions for their children. A pediatrician's office should be neutral, respectful, and focused on collaborative care--not political ideology or coercive medical practices. I would strongly encourage new parents and/or current "clients" to go elsewhere.

From the moment we arrived, the team acted with urgency, professionalism, and compassion. Cherrel, who arrived with the ambulance and her partner, ensured my daughter was transported safely and remained attentive throughout the process. Kendall, my daughter Ja'lyn's nurse, provided attentive and reassuring care, keeping me informed and making sure she was stable and comfortable. I also want to recognize Jacob, who stepped in and took initiative to assist with Ja'lyn's check when he noticed it was due, even while Kendall was occupied. That level of awareness and teamwork did not go unnoticed. Dr. Melnikoff demonstrated professionalism and thoroughness in evaluating and treating my daughter. I truly appreciated him going above and beyond by following up with my daughter's cardiologist to ensure they were aligned and on the same page regarding her care. That level of coordination meant a great deal to me. I also want to acknowledge the rest of the supporting nursing staff, who worked collaboratively to ensure everything was handled efficiently. Due to their swift response and coordinated care, my daughter received the attention she needed during a very concerning situation involving low oxygen levels and low blood pressure. For respiratory went above + beyond for my son's treatments. However, the drs are a nightmare. They lied to me when I asked upon a return to the hospital th 2nd time to check my sons white blood count before discharging us. This is the reason we were sent back to childrens hospital- my son had an asthma attack + bacterial pneumonia + they did not check his white blood count before discharging us the 1st time. We were rushed out. Within 2 days my son was sent back. His pediatrician took one look at him at the hospital follow up + knew his white blood count was not good. Sure enough- it had already been high when we first went to the ER- 19000 but Tuesday it was 23000. This is medical negligence + poor care for young children. Shame on you! When I requested to double check - again they wanted to send us home too soon- they refused + claimed he was anemic. 2 days later we had another follow up with his pediatrician + he honestly told us my son was actually NOT anemic- his hemoglobin was over 13. I've been anemic many times + I know it's under 11. So no I don't plan to ever come back to this location when drs so carelessly put young children's lives at risk. This is lazy + malpractice. Do not lie to the parents. I seriously hope the hospital manager sees this review bc this behavior is extremely serious + poor care for children. This is a children's hospital + I was shocked by the poor treatment my son received by the other respiratory therapists. Jennifer O needs to train all of them how she handles young kids bc she was the only one who was kind to my son. Another pinned my son to the bed. I will have a lot to process after both our stays + I don't plan to ever return. I'll be requesting the other location should our local hospital plan to transfer my son ever again for his breathing treatments. Learn from this + do better. These drs need to be held accountable. Even the nurses were surprised his white blood count wasn't being checked when I brought it up. They were lied to as well.
