I didn't us Northside towing but I called for a tow at 8am 1pm they never showed they did have the lowest price out of about 8 others I called if my car need a tow I may call them first be if I'm really stranded I won't wait on them I was so disappointed in them this place is only blocks from my house read more

This company has great service and the drivers are very professional.. I called to have my mom vehicle jumped off today and Peter answered the phone.. I told him my mom needed her vehicle towed or needed a jump off.. He arrived in a timely manner and jumped my mom's vehicle off.. Very professional and very good quality service.. I had a mixed experience here. When I called to set up the appointment, the guy was extremely nice - clearly set my expectations and made it sound like an ideal situation (they might have to pull out extra equipment in order to get my car onto the tow truck since I was in parking deck). The process seemed extremely easy -- until I got a call from a lady to say that they had charge more than the receipt amount to my credit card. When I tried to explain that this charge was ONLY if extra equipment had to be used, the lady said they had-- although I hadn't seen any. In my opinion, receipt = amount charge... period. It was a small charge ($10), but that just left a bad taste in my mouth after an overall extremely GREAT experience with this group. read more

He was considerate of neighborhood traffic and helped other cars safely get past our area. He knew exactly where I needed to go. He dropped me off at the service dealer before parking my car. I don't have much to say except, GREAT service! Northside Towing saved my arse when the key to my Toyota mysteriously stopped working at Lenox Square Mall. I pulled some random numbers of towing companies from a yellow book and Northside happened to be one of them! The driver arrived on the scene quick and delivered my car back to campus in well under an hour. All of my worries about being late to a upcoming engagement were soothed away. The driver was nice and even showed me some things about my car I did not know before we left the Lenox parking lot. I appreciate that Northside accepted my credit card--it was the only method of payment I could use at the time. I honestly don't remember what I paid to be towed from Buckhead to the West End of Atlanta. It was definitely over $50. read more

After a really bad ice storm, my car got stuck in ice trying to pull out of my apartment and about three other cars were stuck on different parts of the same road. I was really scared my car would get hit by someone driving down getting stuck in ice or by the other cars. AAA wasn't sending out trucks unless you were stuck on the highway. So I looked up a few places and went with Northside on blind faith. They totally fulfilled my expectations. The driver Alex, was there within the time frame they promised (only two hours which was great considering half of Atlanta was under ice), he was very nice and extremely professional. I'm not sure what genii skills he has, but he got my two wheel drive up the hill enough to tow it safely into my apartment's garage and I'm breathing a HUGE sigh of relief. It was a fair price ($150) considering the extremely difficult driving conditions and I'm so glad I did this. read more

I was headed to a concert and just as I approached my exit my car broke down. I called several companies recommended by my insurance but all of them were rude, expensive, and too complicated with payment. Northside Towing was the exact opposite. They were extremely friendly and helpful, they got there in under 15 min, they gave me a number for cabs in my area, and the gentleman helping me was able to get my car all the way down to Stockbridge safely. Very simple there's only 2 guys now - one is very pleasant and will go out if his way to provide quality service (he is who explained to me how many guys they have as well as some insight on the other gentleman who now I know is Chris) Chris is terrible. Old and crotchety told me it was not feasible for him to drive from midtown to the airport for one tow. Which my response was we have 15 vehicles, so yes maybe on this one you would lose but would make up in return business. By the way the last time we used them, we paid 160$ no questions asked for a one way tow 10 miles. Will be using someone else in the future that values my business. read more

Peter is great! Unfortunately for us, we had to tow our Audi twice in 2 days, but he was polite and professional. He kept us updated as to when he would be there both times. First, I have used Northside a few times in the past and been generally pleased. That said, I made an appointment for this morning, very specific and even adjusted my time to make sure their driver would not be late, all at the direction of the lady who took my appointment. I am waiting for 20 mins and no show. Call them and a man says that lady should not have told me they could meet me at 10:00 am and their drivers are out on other pickups, way East and South of town. Nobody called me to tell me. You made and appointment, got my info., and did nothing. I had to call you to find out you're basically a now show. Sorry, can't waste any more of my time with you. You get 2 stars for being ok in the past. Otherwise, your not even 1 star. read more

Northside Towing was responsive, efficient, pleasant to work with, and attentive with my car. They even text me a picture of the exact spot they dropped my car off. Overall great experience. I called to have my car towed to a repair shop about a mile from my home. I live about 12 miles away from the area that they usually service. Instead of charging me a higher rate for the tow they actually advised me on a better option for my needs. (I was under time constraints as well) That my friends is something not many businesses have now a days. Integrity. That alone is worth a 5 star rating. read more

I called to find out why the guy did not communicate that he had dropped off the car and he stated he had, and that he had been told to park the car by the dumpster. He continued to talk over me and at which point he hung up on me when I started to talk. I called him back and asked if this is how he handled his company? he made it very clear that my opinions do not matter...even though we paid him $75 to take my Moms car 4 miles up the street. He is the owner and he made sure to let me know that the minute he answered the call. He also said he didn't appreciate being talked to that way, well if I am not mistaken I got two words in, before you opened your mouth, and did not shut up. I am guessing he does not like hearing a women talk so honestly about his poor business ethics. I then stated to him that he was unprofessional just like his hillbilly of a operator that answered my call this morning. Before he could say anymore I hung up this time, and blocked him. Do not go here because if you have any issue the owners ego will get in the way of the caring what customer have to say. Maybe if I was a guy he would have giving me the respect but I think he just decided he could speak to me however he pleased. I am sure my husband will deal with him if we have to in the future, especially if there is a extra charge on our bill like other said reviews above. It's sad that he couldn't put his own ego aside long enough to just say I am sorry. Instead he pointed blame on another company and yes it's their fault for not communicating but it's his fault for being a poor business owner. I don't care about the 3 other reviewrs and their positive experience. I am just glad my Moms car is not in his hands anymore. My Mom has had 5 brain surgeries and two strokes in the last two years. I have had to take care of her and all we wanted to do is to fix it up for a family in need, since she couldn't use it anymore. He had to make this experience all lot more stressful when I didn't need to be. The only upside was they where quick and maybe that's because no one wants to use them so they are not busy. read more

I can't say I hope I have to use Northside Towing again, because that would mean I was having more car trouble. But if I do need towing, I will be calling Northside first. Been having battery problems with my truck and after an unsuccessful jump start attempt, I gave up and decided to have it towed in. However, when the Northside Towing driver came out, he said, "Let me try jumping it before we tow it." Lo and behold, he got it started. Then he noticed one of my tires was perilously low, so he filled that up, too. Saved me a bunch of time and money because he wanted to what was right. I contacted this company based on the cost of a 5 mile tow being $65. In my experience it was $100. The business was very organized, kept records of our conversations and was pleasant to deal with. Just called them: "We don't go that far for pickups, just downtown" - I live only a few minutes from downtown and besides if I'm paying for the service, what does that matter to them as long as it's not hours away... in the map here on Yelp it shows that they service almost all the way south to Peachtree City, which is waaay beyond of where I live. Ridiculous IMO and they should just say "Downtown only" in their name. read more

I was referred to them by my credit card company. The gentleman on the phone made me feel comfortable with the company's experience. I was able to go home and leave the car with verbal instructions on key access and where to tow the car. That was absolutely appreciated since I had a long work day and was stuck in a store parking lot!! Unfortunately, there was a problem with the driver mistakenly locking the valet to the trunk of the car with the key inside. Nonetheless, the owner resolved the issue. Of course nobody likes to have to call and get their car towed. But I was picked up last night in a parking garage and I didn't even think they could get down there with the ceiling level. Service was within 45 min- 1 hour and he was quick and very nice. I wish I had known my car was going to cost a bit more because of the 4 wheel drive all the time, but I didn't mind. I don't have a ton of experience with my car being towed but he made me feel like I didn't have to worry about a thing, and was just really nice and helpful. Hopefully I never have to call for a tow again, but if I do I know who I will call. read more

Northside Towing was amazing! I was in such a rut with my car: I had inherited it but the registration was expired. In order to register it, I needed an emission test but could not legally drive the car to go get one. Realizing I needed the car towed, I signed up for AAA who initially told me they would do it and then later told me they could not tow cars with expired registration. I was extremely frustrated and began to call other towing companies that were so expensive! Luckily, I reached Northside Towing and made an appointment for the next morning. They were able to come to my house, tow my car to an emissions test, wait with me, and then tow me back. And they gave me a great flat rate! Plus, the tow truck driver was incredibly nice and helpful. Would recommend them to anyone and everyone. read more

I contacted Northside Towing via their web form on a holiday weekend, assuming they would not be working. My water pump broke and the car was undrivable. They called me within 30 minutes and even gave me a price break because it was a low traffic day. They were there within the hour and towed my car to my mechanic, 20+ miles away. The owner was polite, professional and even texted me a photo of my car parked and the key in the drop box when my car was dropped off at my mechanic's shop. read more
