What was frustrating was that by 9:30 PM, while all 8 of us were still there drinking and spending money, the staff started making comments about how they were closing and we could only get one more drink. If you advertise that your bar is open until 11 PM(sign outside even says bowling is open until 11), customers shouldn't be made to feel unwelcome an hour and a half before closing, especially when you have a group of paying customers. Also minimum of 8 more people came in and got turned away for a drink. I completely understand closing early if business is dead, but when you have 8 people sitting there actively ordering drinks, it's pretty disappointing to feel like you're an inconvenience. We would have happily stayed, continued ordering, and tipped well. Unfortunately, the experience made us feel like our business wasn't wanted.

They got me on a lane at 1:10. Then at 1:45 came to my lane and told me to wrap it up because someone else had the lane reserved at 2:00pm. Why even let me in the lane then ? They didn't tell me I only had 45 minutes. I would have just left and done something else. Heck they didn't even offer to comp me my drinks(soda) or maybe a few games of bowling in the future. Very disappointed in them.

This made for a fun night...especially considering our assumption was how are we going to have fun at little bars in middle of nowhere wisconsin. We never ended up bowling though... the bar was too much fun with the game on. The crowd was a mixed bunch...from camo wearing outdoorsmen to rich Chicago suburbanites. I like to dip on the side and dont like it drenched on top. If the pulled pork wasnt so dry I would not have even put the sauce on. It came on pretty big size bun but would have been nice if it was toasted or not so dry. I would say there was a nice quantity of meat on the bun and they didnt skimp on that. The fresh cut fries were good and not limp like some places do. They did not salt them so you had to yourself. My friend had the soup and salad bar which was part of their lunch special so not sure if they have it up all the time or just during lunch and that was $5.99. My mom had the chicken quesadilla and she said the flavor of the chicken was very bland and not very much meat on it. It did however look good. Came with lettuce, tomato on top and sour cream. She said if she returned there she would not order that again. The place was clean and the service was fine. Nothing above average by any means. We use to come in and they would be very friendly and welcoming. We just came in and they seemed like we were being a disruption of their day. They lady who "helped" us was rude. Our lane broke half way through our game and we went to ask for assistance. As we started talking to the lady she walked away from us and didn't change anything. We then had to go find a different employee to help us. Toward the end of our experience a employee came over and rudely (hands extended) said " do you really have to use the 8 ball?! Do you even know, that will break" rolled his eyes and walked away. Behind our back (about 15 feet away) he proceeded to have a conversation about our table. The attitude in this environment really took a toll on our f un.
