I did use the family bathroom next door to it, at one point - it's very cute, with a tiny toilet for kids and a regular-sized one for adults. Unfortunately it did smell pretty badly, which is why this reviews is a 4-star one and not 5-star. The layout of the library reminded me a bit of the WB library (main branch, on Walnut Lake Rd) and it's a very large building. Overall it looked very nice.

The librarians are incredibly informative and genuinely friendly--they're always ready to help whether you're tracking down a book, using the computers, or just looking for a quiet spot to work. One of my favorite parts? The café inside! The drinks and snacks are great, and best of all--the proceeds go to support Novi schools. It feels good to grab a coffee knowing you're helping the local education system. There are also plenty of study areas, meeting rooms, and a great children's section that makes it easy to bring little ones along. Whether you're here to study, relax, or explore, the Novi Public Library makes it easy to feel right at home. Highly recommend stopping by--even if you're not a "library person," this one might just change your mind.

This is a very nice library especially for a community/town of its size. It recently went through a…read morerenovation (although I'm not sure what it looked like prior as I hadn't moved to the area yet). The librarians are incredible helpful and kind. I had used the library previously as a place to work and just opened a library card; they were extremely accommodating and patient when it came to proof of address as they told me that personal mail was no longer accepted. I was able to get one with minimal issues and they also included a little welcome pamphlet with information about where everything is located etc. The building itself is clean and well-maintained. If I had one "complaint" it's that the study rooms are often occupied but I'm glad to see people utilizing the library - and there are plenty of them! It's in a great spot in DTP and also has ample parking. Also, they have free feminine products in the bathroom which I was (pleasantly) surprised to see. Highly recommend this library and will absolutely be back.

It does get a bit louder when more kids show up after school hours for tutoring and hanging out in the teen section, but it's not too bothersome. There are a lot of library programs and events each month including games, crafts, and book clubs for kids and adults. The only suggestion I have is to open the library an hour earlier at 9:00 am instead of 10:00 am. Despite its smaller size, it has a lot more resources than larger libraries in the area.

The ladys leading the group are great. So much fun and they keep things rolling with a variety of books and songs. While looking for books I personally felt a bit overwhelmed. There are sooooo many books to sift through. I think it will take a bit to get used it. They have a small play area with a legos, puppets and various toys. My little one was amazed with their tree house.

I went back today to work remotely, as I was already in the area for something else. The nostalgia! While things look updated and newer since my days, it still have pretty much the same layout as I remembered. It ended up being a really nice place to work remotely for the day. There's plenty of open seating with outlets. There are also a number of quiet individual booths (for phone calls/meetings) as well as group rooms. There's also a dedicated silent study room for extra quiet and focus. Vending machines with food and drink in the front, and of course, the library is adjacent to Heritage Park which is nice. Also, the children's section is large and adorable. The different sized doorways leading into it is exactly the same as when I was a kid decades ago :').

Love the many different recommendations of books I'm given by cue cards on the bookshelf or personally from an associate. The variety of books is bound to make you go crazy in the best way. The quality of the books I've seen are kept in pristine condition and I love that it's also not too noisy inside. The Book Annex is a great place to get books of great value on sale for a cheap price! I especially enjoy coming here to get work done, to discover a new book/author, and see what the latest buzz is all about. Book worms unite!

The librarian came over and loudly admonished my 7 year old granddaughter that "you have to be under 4 feel tall to play here." I didn't see the sign or I wouldn't have put her in that situation...but I wish the librarian had come to me instead of sternly marching up to the child. It's not even like there were any other small children there...just the 4 of us. Overall this is a really nice, modern library. Huge space overall, with lots of computers, it seems, and a big kids/YA section too. The bathrooms are a bit old school / high school-ish, with tiny stalls. I usually stop by here when I have a book or two on hold, and the hold area inside is easy to find ... they also have an outdoor locker area of sorts you can use. For returns, there's an outdoor slot if you don't want to go into the library, but it's a bit hidden - it's on the side of the building closest to the USPS building across the street (East side of building, I believe, then). Overall, very nice library, I kinda just wish the walk from the parking lot to the entrance was shorter, especially in winter.
