I recently used Northwest Closets and Wall beds for the second time. The first time was to build and install a Murphy bed in my second bedroom along with a desk and some cabinets. This time I had a large closet with rolling shelves installed in my bathroom after removal of the bathtub (I also have a shower in the bathroom). They did a wonderful job both times and Cher, was the excellent designer that helped me design and plan what they would look like and the young men who did the installation were very professional and great to work with. We were in desperate need of a closet system for our messy master walk-in closet, so I called these guys. I worked with NW Closets for a closet upgrade. I really enjoyed working with them. I requested a quote online, worked out an appointment time for a free estimate soon after, and received the virtual design a few days after that. Bill gave amazing suggestions that were very thoughtful to my needs and made sense for the space - this was helpful as I truly didn't know what to do with the space. They are super busy (like every business right now) so installation was scheduled for almost 3 months later, but it was absolutely worth the wait. My wife and I bought our house in April, and now that we've lived in it for a little bit we're ready to fix what doesn't quite work for us. One of the first things we wanted was new closets! We had another company come out and quote us, but even with "40% off" it was still beyond expensive. I called Northwest Closets, and Jeff came out later that week to do some measurements. Our quote was less than half of the other place. We made a couple changes from the original design such as a different color wood and a long hang for my wife's dresses, and those were updated the same day. They called to schedule an install and were very flexible, and we were able to push our install back a couple weeks to when I had a regular Friday off. The day of install was chaotic! We had appliances being installed the same day, and they both got there around the same time. Our driveway was full with the appliance truck, so the NW closets guys tried to carry everything up the driveway, but it's a steep and long-ish walk when carrying heavy things, so they patiently waited to get in to the driveway. They went above and beyond by doing a little thing like they had a tool to cut some moulding I needed to remove to get our fridge to fit. They had also put chrome hanging rods in the closets when we had requested bronzed oil. Eric called the shop and they were able to bring new rods up to our house and the installers cut the rods on site and installed the right color same day, no fuss no questions no issues. Little things like this go a long way toward great customer service! When we need a murphy bed for our third bedroom, we'll certainly be calling this group to build and install it! read more

Looks like I'm the only person with a poor experience. August 24th, we put down our deposit for an office and closets. At that time, we were told a 5 week timeline with a possibility of possibly doing it a week sooner. 7 weeks later, we've heard nothing, nada, zilch on their end with an update. After making several calls and chasing them down, we finally get a response. Install date possibly 2 more weeks out. So if you're satisfied with a 9 week time line, this maybe for you. Otherwise, no matter how good the product maybe, the service is non-existent. Edit: So we ran into some additional issues, but I'm updating this review based on the corrections made to rectify our problems. On 10-20-15, Garrett of NW Closets personally came out to my home and inspect what needed to be corrected. He took notes and basically took full responsibility for what happened, even though I had never dealt with him before. Hard to really complain to someone if the owner immediately admits they could have done better. He asked what the first day I would be available to correct the issues, and promptly came out on 10-24-15 to finish the job. The work done met our expectations 100%. I would definitely deal with Garrett again in the future. He did not make excuses or bury his head in the sand. He took care of the issues until they were right. read more

We contacted Garrett to redo our walk in closet, and do a combo two computer/home entertainment setup. We had basically no clue what we wanted, we knew what we wanted it to accomplish. Garrett helped with the design, and colors and made a blueprint with a 3d picture. That may be normal, but it was bloody cool to me. Garrett came and listened and did a design for my master closet. I wanted to mimic what I had in my previous house but just on a bigger scale since my current closet is larger. He made changes I wanted. The office manager said that they were taking orders now but install will be in June so I decided not to move forward now on it but Garett called back and said they can fit me in on 24th (2 weeks); so I moved forward. On the install day the guys came in a little late but they did the work in 3 hrs and also cleaned the place before they left. The install was perfect and per plan. Payment is also easy online. Am I really the first review? From I've heard from neighbors NW Closets is the go-to place for great-value wall beds. Our challenge: Figure out how to stay in a 1-bedroom apartment with a new toddler. We really needed to sleep in another room... Solution: Have NW Closets custom build an awesome wall bed with our TV mounted on the front. Boom! Put the baby to bed, close the door, watch some TV in the other room, and when we are ready for bed, flip down the queen bed hidden in the wall. Perfect. The owner, Garrett, is a good guy. Garrett met with us explaining options for murphy beds and quickly provided drawings of what we ordered. They were about 6-8 weeks out at the time but the price and service appeared worth it. They proved our decision to be correct. About a week before we expected the bed was ready. The fit and finish of the construction was superb. The set up crew were very nice, careful about our carpets and walls and even modified the bed on sight so that we could use our sleep number mattress in the frame. Our new wall bed is perfect for our den. We have a wall bed and shelves on both sides. One of my favorite features is the bedside table that can be pulled out of the drawer. They are a great company to work with. Paul did a great job of installing our wall bed in Shelton, and it looks wonderful in our den. We now have a place for our grandkids to visit without compromising the room space! We also ordered a wall bed for our kids in Spokane. If I could give Garrett, his company and his installers 10 stars, I would. On our initial visit with Cher who listened to us explain what we envisioned for our guest bedroom/office area she was very patient through the entire process and when we received the final quote from her we were pleasantly surprised. Of the three quotes received Northwest Closets was considerably lower. We also visited the factory in Kent and found it quite interesting to see how the various pieces are manufactured right on the premises. Because of a very busy season we were told it would be seven weeks before installation. They were true to their word and arrived on the day they said they would!! The installers (at one time seven of them) did an amazing job and cleaned up after themselves!!! They were courteous and very professional. I love these guys! We bought a new home with small closets and little storage. We got quotes from many different companies, and it was a no-brainer to go with Northwest Closet. They matched the closets to the cabinets in the home perfectly. They even built me a linen cabinet, installed towel racks, utility racks in the laundry room and everything.
