They admitted her to the ER, then placed her in their Oncology dept. because she was six years post cancer diagnosis with no new cancer. Ten days later, she died from pneumonia and "malnutrition ". Do not take your loved one to this facility. The nurses were good. The attending MD's had zero bedside manner. I was told we had three days to move my sister to hospice or they would remove her!And after two days, while we frantically called every hospice facility on the hospital's recommended list,Dr. Fortuna and their hospice coordinator, Noreen, became rude, borderline aggressive, w/lharassing me about moving to hospice. The last week of my sister's life had little dignity. It was unnecessarily stressful.A minor observation: their bed linens were ripped and disgusting. Who had been sitting there the entire time! Calling it Poor care quality is being polite. I was there almost two hours and we left because they would not say if it would be 10 minutes or 3 hours. But No one was being seen except the 96 year old who threatened to leave. Went home called an ambulance. They gave meds and IV bag. They took her back to this hole and they set her in the hall . We left. Don't bring a dog to this place! Special shout out to the emergency room receptionist, she certainly wasn't a nurse (no nurse would ignore two people in distress, who are writhing in pain!) . FU. And the nurse who FINALLY GOT OFF HER ASS to help the 96 year old man , hope your parents end up with a similar care giver. How do two sleep at night?

But in the last year or so it seems his office staff has become increasingly difficult to deal with. Today I called about getting antibiotics for a potential sinus infection and was told I needed to be seen for that. They told me that Dr. Charani is leaving for vacation tomorrow and I could not see him--not only could I not see him but they wouldn't even let me leave a message for the doctor to call me. I've seen the nurse practioner Jennifer Gomez before and I really did not like her. I was told she had a cancellation for the next morning at 7am and not only is that very early for me, but as I said, I don't care for Jennifer Gomez at all. She acts like the "Medical Police" and you can only do what she commands you to do with no room for discussion. She's not who I want looking after me. Essentially after the office staff refused to allow me to leave a message for Dr. Charani to return my call, I was on my own and I had a horrible day. I tried going to a Walgreens Healtcare Clinic but their computers were down and no one could even tell me if they'd accept my Health Net PPO insurance. Plus there was about a 40 minute wait for me to see the one person in the clinic who could tell me anything. I decided to go home because I wasn't feeling that bad at that time of day. Later in the day I developed a slew of chain coughing fits that brought up some yellowish mucus with what looks like blood in it. So it looks like I will need to spend the night in discomfort coughing and hacking away until morining. The prices for Urgent and Emergency room care are such that I won't go there unless I become unconscious and my wife finds me and calls an ambulance. At any rate, my opinion of Dr. Charani and Pusch View Family Medicine has turned decidedly negative. The staff wouldn't even allow me to talk to the doctor, which to me is a deal breaker even if it is the day before his vacation. Fortunately I am changing my primary care physician for 2016.

Recommendation: NO. See edited review below dated 20 April 2022. I have since decided after much…read morereview and thought, to downgrade the review to one star as the deficiencies of this site continue without resolution. You must put up with a lot here, there seems to be a vapid context to good communication. As a recently retired Vet, I'm shocked at how inept and dysfunctional this specialty clinic is for communication. The sheer volume of Tucson personnel requiring medical assistance in this field, including Veterans and the functional core care at this facility is mind boggling. Senior level Management; take note and please be involved here. To date as of 2022: 1) Billing for some reason as a new patient couldn't be accomplished correctly. This took months to correct without any team member picking up the phone to call, apologize and communicate a correction. Severe lack of communication. 2) Departing business 1st time, intervened with a sorely trained female counter representative who certainly requires more customer service training to say the least. I'll leave it at that... 3) Second visit; in speaking with another PA, there was conversation that the communication (at this location) could certainly improve as complaints have been received here before, and Staff members here are aware of this. I concurred that attending personnel need to be considered for higher level training. 4) Appointment results: After having an appointment aligned, I requested a phone consult instead of driving almost an hour to hear a yes/no answer. They 'couldn't' do this as it wasn't a 'phone consult' day. How absurd could this possibly be? I stated, my appointment time was set up, and you're stating the PA can NOT pick up a phone to call the recipient?? They again claim, the 'system' won't allow them to do this. Clearly, this is beyond amateurish and dysfunctional. If anything, COVID taught us for sure, medical communication and conveyance CAN be done through a telephone. The sheer ineffectuality to accomplish this says a lot about the makeup of this facility. 5) An individual named 'Kat' called and left a VM for me that she was concerned about a past visit and the shared communication of an employee's brash tone. I quickly attempted a call back, couldn't connect with her and left her a VM. I continued to call over the next 4/5 days to reach out to the Manager in hopes to communicate, all the while never being able to reconnect to Kat(sp). All VM's to said individual were never returned, never reciprocated and never heard from again. There certainly is an issue at this specialty clinic and it's unconventional for sure. The care from the attending PA has been above reproach; the care from the Staff and Manager have been insentient. UPDATE: 20 Apr 2022. Currently, the communication from this facility fails beyond comparison that should not go into a review. The failure of the manager to be contacted in addition to communicating with the doctor has been in an unequivocal failure that defies logic. I have been misled by several phone attendees that my P/A would be contacting me, all of which has failed for over three additional weeks. 'Kat' , the supposed manager has yet to return a phone call and seems to be too preoccupied to be concerned with the abhorrent reviews already dedicated to this site through Yelp and Google. My next course of action will be to communicate with the Board of Director's or higher echelon of leadership. It is never fun to identify such negative values for a business, but when it fails and otherwise fails to communicate, you have a dilemma that must be looked at. I was specifically told that my physician would contact me back for a phone consult. Three weeks later a different phone technician states "she's not able to do that kind of communication". The frustration of trying to get your results and communicate on a very basic level is mine boggling and deficient like I have never seen before at any other medical facility around the globe. I do not recommend as facility for anyone.

Very pleasant and pleasantly humorous when the situation is appropriate. He performed surgery on my renal mass and was simply wonderful during my hospital stay, he listened to any concerns I had and had a great attitude. He is obviously a very skilled surgeon as the renal mass had some surprises for him when I was "opened up". My dad was a physician so I am put off by docs who have a God complex and Dr Manger does NOT suffer from that delusion. He is a very kind man, and obviously cares deeply for his patients. Of all the physicians I have seen in Tucson he ranks in my top 5. If you have a choice of doctors when being seen at this clinic, choose Dr Manger, you will be in excellent hands. Thanks to the entire staff also for their care and compassion.

I highly recommend Dr DeVille to anyone seeking an alternative to today's conventional healthcare…read moresystem. If you can afford it, do it. Dr DeVille was "the doctor" who diagnosed me with Lyme disease (missed by Mayo and Banner). This... after almost twelve years of "crickets," debilitating autoimmune co-infections and unprofessional comments from previous doctors (it's in your head... your labs are normal...). Dr DeVille goes above and beyond in seeking the causes, and even the effects that seem to plague many of us today. Do NOT be affraid to ask questions!! She's also a great educator in all things health. Am I cured? Lyme isn't curable, but it and its co-infections are highly manageable now. Her staff has been beefed up and are spot on with their assistance! I appreciate all that they do! ** YES people, there may be a 2-3 month wait, so ask to be put on the cancellation list! This is a private practice and is like a specialty referral so take a deep breath. Key items. Labs. Ask always if/where to get prior to. Be flexible and open to what she suggests. Ask for alternatives in pharmacies, etc. There may be upfront costs. Again, she is considered as a private provider vs conventional/traditional healthcare provider. Lastly... she does zoom style calls if needed. That's a huge plus!!
