We really appreciated his low key approach. He really heard us, rather than trying to sell us, and patiently answered all of our questions. Next came Ed, who prepared all of the calculations, list of supplies, etc. that would be needed by the installers to efficiently do their work with no snafus or need to leave for supplies. He also patiently answered all our questions. Based on Scott's recommendation, we decided to have our ducts cleaned prior to installation and he set up an appointment with Oregon Duct Cleaning to do so. ODC was a great recommendation and we're very happy with the job they did. They too, patiently answered all our questions. Finally, Mike and Mitch did the installation. We hit the jackpot with those two. What a GREAT team! They were professional, tidy, patiently answered all our questions, and obviously took pride in the quality of their work and the quality of the Lennox products they installed. Mike went a step further and went into a VERY tight portion of the crawl space (he literally had to shimmy in and out) where he discovered a major section of the ductwork had not been properly installed. He fixed that and thoroughly sealed the ducts to the vents. We are so grateful to him for going that extra mile as the problem wasn't visible until he got inside the area. No wonder that part of the house was, depending on the season, either hotter or cooler than the rest of the house. He deserves a bonus for his effort.

I called back after not hearing for a while. This was happening during spring when it was still cold. Finally someone responded to my calls that they had no parts and I'd have to change it altogether. When I was finally told they could not fix it, I sent them a check for the full amount for the second service call. Now months later, I received an invoice in the mail for 49 cents. I called to see what was up. The lady who answered the phone said it was the interest for late payment. Mind you this is the first invoice I received since I sent the full payment. I reminded her I waited to pay based on their advice. And it would cost more to mail a check with stamp being more expensive: she basically said I could pay over the phone to her (which I don't like giving my cc info to people directly) or mail it. I will mail it but will never do business with them. After years of being a customer, $0.49 will be the value of service I received.

He advised they service the Portland area by appointment. I asked if it would be possible to schedule an appointment while I was in town. He was accommodating and worked with my schedule. Nate (technician) showed up during the scheduled window. In fact, he was 30 minutes early. After an hour or so, Nate identified the cause of the problem. He had a suggestion on how to remedy the problem, but advised he wanted to confer with Jason. I received a call the following day from Jason with a quote that I felt was very reasonable. The quote included both labor and materials. The work has been completed. I am very satisfied with how quickly they were able to resolve the issue. Jason offers very personalized service. It was 100+ degrees every day, so we needed someone fast. Lucky for us, we called Focus. They are a local company and were able to come over after hours for an additional fee. Within 2 hours, John was working on the heat pump. Not only was he a pleasant man to deal with, he was knowledgeable, showed me exactly what was wrong and what he was doing, and he did so quickly and efficiently. The office staff was great, too.
